The app is really well done. It is functional and well designed. It is easy to use and it fulfills the purpose of helping and simplifying the process of remembering the hiragana alphabet with simple and fun mnemonics. The use of color as transition between letters is useful and pleasant. It gives also options to choose from for learning and quizzes, so it is not monotone. As a beginner in learning Japanese language I like the app and find it helpful. Thank you for your effort.

There is good and bad. The way they teach you mnemonics is by phonetic english, meaning you may pronounce it right (depending your dialect..) but SPELL it wrong!! That's very, very bad. Good is their varied quiz system gives you more options than most. I wish longer quizzes was possible than 10 at a time and more accurate results than "100% correct" every time.. They also lack the varied kanas; ga, gi and so on. So can't use it alone but combination with other teaching apps it's ok.

This app is awesome! I've used dozens of these kinds of apps trying to memorize this stuff, but they're usually just very dry flash cards. This is still basically just flash cards, but it's really well designed and organized. The little pictures make it way easier to remember and it gives you a reminder of the answer if you guess wrong, which is something that's strangely hard to find.

It's very good! It capitalizes on the power of mnemonics, and it does so for free! However, I think some of the images could be changed to represent a sound that is closer to the pronunciation of the word. Also, the layering of a letter and an image sometimes seem too distorted to make for a good mnemonic. I think the images should be reviewed, but otherwise, it's a great app, and I'd highly recommend it!

This app is great, but it has one fatal flaw. As far as I'm aware, this app does not cover dakuten (tenten) and handakuten. Dakuten is something I've been struggling to memorize, however, it is absent from this app. Yes, I know it's difficult to make a picture with dakuten, but I'd like to see an extra mode what turns on dakuten. Another thing I'd like to see is more customization. For example, I'd like to select certain hiragana I'm struggling to memorize. Instead of seeing ones I alreadyknow

Absolutely loved the experience. Iwas hoping to face some hurdles since I'm a begginer in Japanese, but this app is curated EXACTLY to suit your needs. It has an option for selecting the COLUMNS you desire to take test on. And then continues. Even the tests are differentiated- see and choose, HEAR & choose. Hats off to the team for such an app amd that too for free. It comes in Thai and Indonesian too. 🌈☺️

Probably the best free app to learn Hiranaga. SUPER user friendly and I learnt so many in one sitting because it really teaches you how a teacher would teach a year 1 student. Brilliant app. It also has tests through many methods which makes learning better. It's the most effective and produces results by jogging your memory! 5/5!

I'm an advanced Japanese speaker teaching my kids to read Japanese. I am very impressed with the structure and ease of use of the app. The mnemonics and hints were very helpful for young learners to progress through each section and having multiple quiz modes to test their knowledge helped to remove the reliance on individual hints and aids to promote learning. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to learn or review their hiragana.

Absolutely amazing app for learning hiragana. It gives you multiple avenues for learning and the quizzes are great. Only issue was that the r/l mixup between languages can have some unintuitive pictograms. Otherwise, this app is amazing!

Really good, they are very helpful to remember. I recommend if you're the type of person who usually can't remember well and or having trouble to memorize hiragana. It's very easy to use and I don't remember any single add while using it

This app is amazing. I downloaded it on monday hoping it will help with duolingo app which started off too strong for me. By thursday I'm happy to announce i have my hiragana locked at a 100 percent identification and 85 percent pronounciation. I'm getting 10/10 on all my tests. You might need some adjustment for a few of the letters but overhall i give this app 100%. Thanks

Wooow, its so eazyy!! You can remember 10 hiragana's character, just less in one minute. Why? Because this apps show every single character with mnenonic pictures (i though like analogycal illustration). So, just remember the picture in card, and you'll know what's the character like is. Fyi, japan foundation had a website for learning Japanese, the name is MINATO. Most important, offline and no ads ✨

It seems like it has all the content but the way it is all layer out makes it very hard to learn formal hiragana. When I downloaded the app, it doesn't walk you through anything, you just pick something to study and take the test when you think you're ready I guess?

Amazing! Just practice each line of hiragana each day and you'll memorize it in no time! How the app works: the words and pictures help you memorize the character. So ka looks like a cup, and cu in cup sounds like ka. I really like ru and ro because ru has a ruby on the ring and ro looks like the ruby was robbed--robbed--ro. You'll need to go on YouTube for the " or °, but they're not anything new besides different sounds. So ta would become da with " --looks the same as ta but with a ". The weird ones are the h sounds becoming b with " and p with °. But to learn those, you need to start with the basics which this app does. The rest is pretty easy!

Wonderful app. As an absolute beginner, it's extremly helpful. Audio/visual flashcards in addition to quizzing keeps me engaged in addition to consolidating my learning. 👍👍

It's the best app for learning hiragana. I learnt all characters in three days with leisure. Now that I think of it, it may take only one day if you try hard.

Perfect app. Just needs Hiragana with diacritic marks to be complete. I've master all the hiragana because of this app. It would be helpful if it taught how to write correctly too in a different section.

nice clean app, good technic for memorizing but unfortunately, bad mnemonics thag make no sense.. some du bud most do not. I dont recomend this as main learning app, but as suplementary. its good but not the best. try dr moku also. they both suffer the same fate but dr moku has more of good ones than this. they both complete eachother. Thats my personal opinion, maybe you will find tis app helpfull!

Great app. Found it to help immensely with remaining the characters. Only thing to help finish it off would be to add the modified hiragana characters

Its great. My Japanese teacher actually recommended me this app. It really helped me a lot. Now im good in Hiragana but not completely. I'm now trying to be familiar with the 'marks and transcribed sound'.

I was struggling with all the symbols before. Right now I am memorizing this stuff so fast, I can barely believe it. It is going straight into my subconscious. Just what I needed! And sooo easy and simple, too! Thanks!!

This is sooo much help for my brain. I mostly use this app for its Quiz Section cause i learned hiragana through Youtube and I don't rely on Mnemonic so much but Its such a great help for me. But now I decided to remove it cuz its no use for me anymore cuz i already know all the Hiragana. And A Little ADVICE: ADD JAPANESE KEYBOARD TO YOUR PHONE. (I don't use the qwerty one cuz i wanna learn how to use it like Japanese people does but its your choice if you use that one)TRY ALSO THEIR KANJI APPS.

Excellent way of learning the letters aling with information and quiz. This is quite helpful if you have already learnt Hirangana and ready to take self examination. Mainly this doesn't have any advertisement while using this app
