By using setting menu, you can alse choose not to del sms/mms when screen off or you can choose not to delete locked/protected sms/mms
----version 2.5 changes:1.add auto clear and preference settingyou can have schedule clear by menu-> setting -> select Clear When Screen Off.It will auto execute your last clear operation when screen off.you can also set notification bar icon here and turn on phone rom memory statistics display.
2.add frequently called (Frequently Contacted) clearsome devices have a frequently called list in favorites tab.now the delete operation of this list is available.
3.add phone memory status showingshow your phone rom memory statistics.you can see how much memory freed after clear.
4.use new text message deletion and move this function to menu optionstxt message deletion option moved to menu,you can delete all of your sms/mms by menu-> Del All SMS/MMS,Be ware that ALL of your text message will be deleted even if they are locked!
5.add option to show notification baryou can show notification bar to have a quick switch.to enable this:menu->Setting->check Notification Bar Icon.
6.adjust item display order.move clear all apps cache function to the top of the list.
***Features under development***1,contacts history or sms history in motorola phones:Motorola doesn't share their communication logs with other apps,I am still working on it to figure out a way to clear this history.

i don't know what happened to this app but it all the features doesn't work anymore it doesn't delete call logs or text messages i used this app for years an for the past few months it hasn't worked...
I wish when you click on cleaning text messages it would just ignore the fact its not allowed instead go crazy and try change default message king apparently.
Since update it won't delete clipboard Or call history via direct app or widget. Plus it force closes widget 80% of the time.
Used to be good. However, it will not let me clear call logs without forcing me to set History Eraser as the default call app. Uninstalling.
should not make you set this app as default for contacts. there is a way of getting around it. but i am sure most people won't know how to do it. SNEAKY.
After the last update, it is useless. Not sure why someone would need it anymore. Does not clean anything so it is uninstalled.
I don't care how long I've been using an app, I don't care if it's a good app if you're gonna remove the dark background I'm removing your app from my phone. I'm not willing to lose my eyesight for you.
Whatever you did on that last update, fix it. It wont erase my calls or text messages anymore. Used to be 5 stars. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 if that helps.
I agree app was great then i purchased and now doesnt clean anything when i run it cant even tell it what apps to clean wont let me.Developer must have abandonded no response.
Waste app. Not working in any android. Sent SMS and call log cannot be deleted. Do not buy this app. Total waste.
New update doesn't even delete the call logs anymore. I found a workaround be reinstalling the prior version 6.39
I liked this app. Now that Google has changed their SMS and call policies, I'm not so sure if it's useful.
Ruined by Google. Through no fault of the developer, Google's new security policies ruined this cleaner by preventing it from clearing SMS and call logs. Google ought to refund payments on cleaners and many antivirus apps crippled by their security policies.

Don't update after v5.4.2. It breaks call and text erase history. You've been warn.

what happened to the darker theme
This app used to be great and I used it for years. Now after the latest update the app is useless! It doesn't clean anything and asks to be set as the default calling app. I paid for something useful and now I have useless! Unfortunately other apps are about as bad! RP Samsung S9+
