I got a beautiful splash page and a spinning circle icon...and nothing more. I stopped it and restarted it and still got nothing but a beautiful splash page and a spinning circle icon. It was a beautiful splash page and I'm sure it's a very nice app but for some reason it didn't work on my phone. I installed Clio and it seems to do what I'm after.
It used to work great, but now it won't go beyond the splash page with a spinning circle. Uninstalling and downloading a new copy produced the same results.
PLEASE FIX! I had an app like this (maybe it was this one?) a few years ago and I loved it! Just redownload and my map will not load at all! I really miss using this app and I am so sad it's not working.
The map view is always blank. The general idea may be good, however the execution is lacking.
Glitchy. Hardly works correctly for me. a shame too as this was an idea I had for an app some years ago. This "could" be GREAT if applied correctly.
The map feature does not work. Not very helpful in identifying where historic sites are located.
Worked great in older phone. Please update software to work on newer phone soon. That was an awsone app! With older android rbis was a 5 star app!
Used to be great showing everything around me that happened... now it doesnt even load just stays with the loading circle, how disappointing.
This app had a ton of potential! What a waste. Its sad. Hopefully an update will happen next year!
this use to be a great app. but the map function no longer works. tried several downloads to no avail.
It refuses to ryn on my phone. Everytime I try and open it it says its for an oldet version of Android. Update please
Won't even open on my Pixel. Just "circles" until i eventually get frustrated and close it. Deleting
only see locator dots.. no map is visible so have no idea, no context for where things are.
Map won't load and lists nothing within reasonable driving distance.

Some cool interface features, and illuminating content. I'd move to 5 stars if they added quirky yet historically accurate and representative history, like "110 year old stables that supplied services to the mounts of the US Army during the Indian Wars, etc. Adding crowd source input that was approved prior to publishing could help scale content and make this a truly cool repository vs. a smart phone-enabled "free in the motel lobby" variety tour guide.
The first time I used this app the local search results revealed numerous historical sites right around me. Of course I was aware of the more famous historic sites nearby, but I am amazed how many more points of interest the app actually found!
The city I live has quite a history. And nothing shows up in my city. have another app that is a lot better its historical marker database. It shows a lot more stuff. 2012) Its now 2020 and the last update was in 2015. App won't even work because my phone is to new.
mapping does not function on my android. I'd give it a 5, except much of the functionality is based on mapping functions. I'm about ready to uninstall, except I do get some good from the lists after I go to the trouble of locating a specific place. a shame, really.
