HiU - Messenger

It's a good app,but ring tone is not heard during a call so we don't get any sort of notifications which is most important in receiving a call ( no ring tone) that someone is calling. And we can't insert any images of gif. Please rectify this very vital issue or else what's the point of this app. Because sound and video is very clear.

the app is good but some major updates are needed. for one, the font is too large. I can't find place to reduce it. second, it needs to have an option to correct a text even after its sent or retract option is not there. please remove the tell your friends option popping everywhere. also the stability of notifications is a little patchy. correct these.

Very poorly Managed App. On top we have to pay 50aed a month for this poor service. 1. The App keeps coming on top of items Apps. Unless you clear it out of recent Apps you may be doing something important but Hiu will come on top while you're using Google Maps to drive or using other Apps 2. If you get a call from another App like Botim; instead of call waiting Hiu switches to Speaker ON so EVERY ONE can hear what you're talking about 3. The Feedback system doesn't work. Email isn't monitored

Horrific. Super inconsistent, doesnt work with dual sims, only 20% of calls actually connect the rest get stuck at 'connecting'. Simply not workable either personally or professionally, zero customer service numbers and the emails for support bounce back. Joke of an application and a service should be removed.

Though it is very useful app there are few improvements area 1. Swipe right to reply a particular message swipe left to delete a message (must have) 2. Single emoji should be displayed in a bigger size(you can also make it animated emoji if it is single)(must have) 3. By swiping left on contact it should show his/her profile(nice to have) 4. There should be an option to check when the message is delivered and when it is read by someone.(nice to have) This is really good chat app otherwise.

terrible quality. every call to/from UAE breaks up several times. app also crashes. shameful that UAE only allows this for VOIP calls when there are many free alternatives that are MUCH better. ridiculous that people in UAE have to pay for this miserable product. if HiU had to compete with FaceTime, duo, signal, WhatsApp etc. no one would use it. ever.

Absolutely poor. For a paid app is really disappointing. It does not make or receive calls and that after you have to buy a subscription to use. Expectation was that this is network recommended legal app for voice calls and should work well. It does not.

acceptable for voip/video calling but need improvement. here are some of the issues. auto rotation doesnt work. it is critical for me. the ringing tone is same whether the calling party is online or offline. there is no way to no. it should have option to allow voip call with display off as it consume to much battery. hope my feedback is taken with positive criticism and improve overal experience.

terrible. i can't use this to even make a short call to UAE, since they blocked all other video calling apps, and the only other app that can make calls is just as "reliable". calls won't connect at all.

Well. So far it's kinda good, the major downside is that the call gets hung up whenever someone tried calling me on my mobile, on messenger, on skype or other apps. I hope you could fix this issue, it's really frustrating. Group chat is there on mobile but cannot make group call, I hope this will be fixed soon, it's pretty useless on using this app for group chat, I'd rather use messenger duh. The main point of paying for this connection is to make a call not chat with them. Please fix thanks!

Worst video calling app. Both video and audio freeze every minute. First I thought it's my wifi stability issue but after I installed Botim, everything was smooth and stable. Problems were because of this poor app.

I can't add to contacts. if Im trying to that it will just go to my contacts on my phone. then when I'm trying to search for people or add its not working. as if its empty. i can't use it properly.

call quality is ok. but still have more bugs.like window switching time video is not coming, we have to disconnect and connect it again. Bluetooth headset is not working. etc

Very annoying app. Keeps popping up reminders every 30 seconds, asking one to tell friends to HIU. As I type this, reminder popped up four times already. Am totalling uninstalling this right away.

it's getting worse after each update. keeps on crashing , ringing in the background but no calls active and many. 👎.only positive is among three supported this performs something.

i tried connecting a video call using desktop ..auh between US.. it doesnt even work..i have subscribed both to data and internet calling plan..so im paying 150 dirhams for this apps that cannot even make a DECENT video call via desktop!!@=#$%.. pls dnt advertise about desktop calls if it doesnt really work.

its is very slow app . all of my apps in mobile hang after installing it . please make it fast and useful. it need more options and requirments to catch whatsapp . though its video call is fablous but typing speed while using this app is very slow . even i took 5 minutes to write these line as my keyboard isnt working properly .

It's an ok app, very slow loading pictures, but it could be my phone ! ,to be fair it's too early to judge ...it needs some improvement ...thank you The App is getting better every day, the quality of the calls are better now keep up the improvement ...thanks again...

I have tried many time but i don't receive any verification code sms on my sim, I'm unable to use or register my account in this app. It is a totally useless app if we can't complete registration.

Unable to speak to my wife. She is now receiving a message saying that the app is not available in her country. Her app store is from USA, but she is travelling to Spain. I'm in UAE and this is one of the few apps available here. After paying 50dhs to etisalat I feel I was scammed. How is that a messaging app is not available in the USA app store from apple?

A lot of problems like. Its not working some time. When its ringing if you reject the call , your device must be restarted before you can stop the ringing..... Not always shown the incoming calls....

Great software overall. Only issues with Bluetooth devices. Calls never disconnect in my car and experience is glitchy.

unreliable. dropping all the time. cannot have proper conversation. aggressive. why is it taking control over other applications very annoying

very terrible. Very very poor connection even after buying the daily subscription just to try, but drops each time the receiver picks my call. Just wasted my time and little money. Don't even deserve one star.

A basic chatting app that does not allow many options that need urgent attention from the developer. I am also concerned about the privacy and end to end encryption.

this app is always getting stuck. Poor quality, sometimes only black screen will show. in uae we dont hav any other video call app to use only botim, hiu,cme apps. all these appz are not good.

Not having group Video chat facilities is a down side. however call quality is OK and recommended. Sometimes Bluetooth connection disconnects.

Money grabbing app - totally unjustified that we are forced to use these types of applications. I pay my extra 50 a month so I can actually keep in touch with loved one, bad enough most days but in the current climate totally un-humanitarian when there are dozens of free apps available but are blocked. I'm luck that I can afford to do pay, thousands can't. Business rely on sound, clear communication to work... I hope the decision makers lift the ban soon!

how to keep the video continually streaming while in the background? the video freezes (with only audio streaming) if the other videochat user is opening other apps on top of hiu.
