Doesn't come up clean on a mobile security scan. I would like to see some permissions tweeked. One that was particularly troubling was the access to my camera, even if the app is running in the background, it can use it. It also has permission to run the minute I turn on my phone. As well as the ability to delete or modify my pictures. There were plenty others red flags, but those stood out. If more effort was put into security, I'd love ro try the app.

What sets this app apart is the very friendly community. The developer made a generous donation to a group charity started for a user. Props for that. HiveMind is developed and maintained by a single person who works hard to cultivate a positive environment. Overall the experience is great. Of course petty drama emerges, but rank toxicity does not fly. The functionality is rather good considering it's a one-man show, and many features are being rolled out as time progresses.

If I could give 42 stars, I would. sure there are some stuff missing like DMs, but it's all coming in future updates. Anyway, it's a great app and the owner is a good human. Keep up the great work. p.s Thanks for fixing that crash issue I had five minutes ago 😅

Crashes on startup in 2019. Developer told me to reinstall on 3/31/2020. Still crashes on startup with no error reporting. Sucks. Then the developer tells me no one else is reporting this issue, and to clear my cache. Surely if i have to manually intervene then, by definition, the software has a bug?!? Obviously a LOT of other people have this same issue and they cant be bothered to fight with a developer in denial. Developer then tells me I am a troll rather than fix his code and win a new user

This app is toxic. There are some very nice and sweet people, but because of all the toxic users, it's a very poor experience. Me, along with a friend will not be going back. Other than our experience, the app itself is pretty good. But because of the toxicity, I give it 2 stars.

I really liked Hivemind but honestly only because I was hanging on to old apps like Candid, Yik Yak, Swiflie etc. It was fine but I have to give it 3 stars because the founder calling everyone a "troll" just for having criticism is immature. The app is a great idea but it still needs some work and the team or the owner should be more professional if they want to make better apps in the future.

I'll give it 5 starts, just becuase how easy it is to use. No, it's not yik yak, but it's pretty close. Ill give credit to the owner, for creating something, with this interface. .. BUT The only downside would be, very biased views on most subjects. It's pretty Obvious and Clear, that the creator values, and agrees with only one side! Otherwise you are considered a "Troll". and before you know it. Total BAN! I suggest you guys clean up your act. And not be blatantly biased! Thanks.

Honestly, best app of it's kind. Not worth it for any of you "free reign" anarchists, but if you like an active owner who throws his weight around just enough to keep things mostly civil, this is the app for you.

it's gud. I can see it growing well with future updates. The more people join the closer it'll be to yikyak 😀 Also you can have gif profile pics and upload videos that sadly still auto play from miles down the feed.

Seems like just a handful of people with multiple accounts. Very clique-centric and only active globally.

I once had to have an operation to remove a large jagged shard of stainless steel that had become lodged in my ovaries. The experience was slightly less hideous than Hivemind.

totally better than clacku, swiflie, and yikyak. the developer doesn't allow doxxing and protects users. i love it.

This app deserves to be taken down. Cancerous developer and audience. Appalled at the content I have seen and there are other negative reviews to back up the claims. EDIT: I was called a troll? I was one of the most beloved on the app. I was kicked for illustrating your incorrect behavior, as were others that day. These sort of perception twisting tactics are exactly why his app is flooded with negative reviews and why he is constantly having to steer the narrative towards a positive light.

Love this app! Been looking for a good new app for awhile to post and talk to new bees so I'm glad this was released.

Nice features but mods allow disturbing content

this app doesnt comply with the GDPR and the creator deletes the profile of anyone who asks the question, and doesnt respond to requests under the GDPR so iv had no choice but to launch a complaint with the ico. further responses from the developer who regards anyone who requests personal information rights under the GDPR automatically as someone malicious and blackmail as apparent here in their reply, when actually these requests are not malicious and full in keeping with a legitimate request

Honestly do not download this app. The developer is cancerous and has actually threatened in the past to expose users personal information. That was honestly the biggest reason I left and reading this other comments shows me how poorly this app has aged. Please spare yourself the trouble and go anywhere besides here. Honestly I would recommend this to people who use twitter to much but even then twitter is probably less toxic...

I can't even open an account! Another shifty app that you can't even REGISTER! SO MUCH FOR FREE SPEACH! Are you guys working for the enemy? I mean, you are WASTING A LOT OF PEOPLE'S TIME.

Edit: the dev is blaming all the negative reviews on trolls. This is not the case. While i was there, the dev banned people for disagreeing with his favorite users, disagreeing with him, using apps he didnt like, pointing out the constant deletions, catching him lying (with proof), and even liking posts that upset him. I dont recall a single user banned for trolling. There were a number of issues with the app, but the most severe was, and will always be, the hostile and unstable admin

The owner of the app (Hivemind) flirts with and harasses women for photographs and other sexual deeds. He purposely picks on vulnerable women and bans them if they don't comply with his "vertification rules" which are essentially revealing your body. This app is corrupt and the owner is smart and tech savvy with deleting conversations, picking on users with severe mental disorders (one girl has schizophrenia), and deleting any information on his site which calls out the maltreatment of members.

HiveMind LLC may accuse you of posting "racist hate speech" without evidence, as he did me. When threatened with legal recourse regarding his allegations, he simply reworded his comment to app policy on "hate speech" even though it's irrelevant. Extremely unprofessional regarding the seriousness of the situation, but obviously understands this is not a fraudulent claim or threat, given that he reworded original response to not be accusatory. Developer has been reported with screenshots & emails.

Extremely inactive app. Cancerous admin. Within 2 weeks I've seen people get banned for disagreeing politically with the admin, for getting into verbal arguments with other users who start the arguments, and now for not including him in group chats from other apps and rationizaling that by accusing you of being someone you aren't and putting you on blast to the other users which is against his own rules of targeting users. Overall it's a hypothetical app full of racism and lewd-nude photos.

At first I was so hyped about beehive, but then they removed the nsfw for android users. What a shame.

Not great. But the best thing out there

HiveMind gives us the ability to speak freely & anonymously without the 'consequences' of typical social media. Want to be weird? Go for it. Want to say something controversial? Have at it. As Dr. Jordan Peterson says: 'if you can't speak, you can't think'.

The developer (one person) removed my account for no reason. He may claim I was a "racist troll", but that's a blatant lie. He just hates me for no reason.

Terrible app with terrible admin. I was banned for posting a meme about the founder of BLM using donated money to buy four houses. I didn't post anything racist and didn't post anything hateful.
