HKmap Live Map

Seems good, app opens and shows me icons... however it's only in Chinese, so English speakers like me are still clueless as to what is happening around us in hk. It's a bit scary at times to hear announcement in the mtr only in Chinese, and the crowd to look worried, and sadly the expat community doesn't know what's about to happen. Wish it could be in English as well, until then I'll try and make sense of the icons.

This app is great. It is still in the Google Play Store app, and has not been removed. If this app gets rejected from the Google Play store, then I will report them to bring it back, it was a great app, and was not supposed to be banned from any app. I do speak some of the Chinese languages by the way.

Constant white flashing screen, completely unusable. Using the web app for now. luckily for Android, web app is quite feature complete with no hiccups. Keep up the work.

This is a great app if you want to know live situation in Hong Kong and avoid protest areas. Very useful tool for safety. The only thing missing is it does not have English language. I need to ask someone who know Cantonese to translate for me.

Have been using browser version of hkmap.live since a few months. Very informative. Thanks. Saw Apple store banning you, so come here to support. Too bad I don't use Chrome (only Dolphin/Firefox), but if your app is only half as good as you browser version, I would be happy. Keep it up.

It is convenient, useful. Information is accurate and up to date. I love it! Those who gave a low rating are just jealous of what real HongKongers got - Talent, intelligence and flexibility.

Map gives information. No more, no less. You choose what you want to do with that information. That is precisely what CPC shills giving this 1-star reviews don't understand. It's almost a perfect metaphor for these protests. One side desires information and freedom, the other does anything possible to obfuscate and suppress.

While I like the concept of the map, the app is poorly made and it's essentially just a wrapper of Chrome. I rather just go to the website instead.

It's useful if you need to have a business trip in HongKong. I could use this app to avoid facing any protest event so I can make my way to hotel safely and faster.

It had been working in the past month, and kept crashing in the last few weeks. Can the developer say a few words about what is going on and any thing user can do?

I recommend you to download it if you are planning to go Hong Kong, no matter it is a traveling or business trip. It can provide you information of district and event happening nearby so as to keep you safe.

The app is really good to see where the protests are. But can someone explain the symbols to me, please! I don't speak Cantonese, so I don't know how to navigate through the app.

Useful traffic information reported in real time, especially crucial when the police blocking off main roads from day to day.

Too many bugs, I.have to refresh it everytime. How can I stop this stupid app from stealing my data, I dont want to send my personal data to your local server okay?

Looks decent, but an English option would make it usable for me.

Uninstalled. Doesn't work - opens to a blank screen. I'll go back to the browser version.

To those who can't understand what the posts/legends are, you can translate them. 1. Click the chat or message box/the legend in the map. 2. Select the word/s. A google logo will appear at the bottom of the screen. 3. Click the down button. Google will search the word where you'll have to scroll down and the google translate will show what that post/s mean.

Open the app and nothing shows up, please fix it soon. Fight for freedom! stand with Hong Kong!

Terrible app, can't even open it. Just not working. Waste my time and data.
