The Heidelberg Laureate Forum brings together highly talented young researchers in mathematics and computer science. The Forum is designed as a platform for inspiration and creativity, fueled by the desire to inspire the next generation of scientists. The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation recognizes that communication is the key to achieving scientific success and excellence. Therefore, the HLF creates the unique opportunity for profound interaction and exchange across generations and cultures.
The HLF is strongly supported by the award-granting institutions, the ACM AM Turing Award and the ACM Prize in Computing, the International Mathematical Union (IMU) and the Norwegian Academy of Technology Science and Letters (DNVA; Abel Prize). The Scientific Partners of the HLFF are the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) and Heidelberg University.
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum was established by the Klaus Tschira Foundation, a German foundation which promotes the awareness and development of natural sciences, mathematics and computer science.
