I use 3 banking apps and the HNB app is by far, the worst. It has too many security measures and it always tends to log out even for the slightest things like double tapping a button. Then the login process should be done all over again. They have to really upgrade the app as the other 2 banks I deal with offer very convenient apps even with fingerprint unlocking.
I actually made a decision to change the bank because of the app. Cause sometimes i want to do transactions and check my remaining money and when i log into the app its always signed out and its a really unfriendly issue. Since am in a hurry i dont have time to open emails and check usernames and passwords and more or less after a few months the username changes automatically and i had to stay in call for a long time to get the new one emailed. Having tight security can be done with strong gateways. If the app is not userfriendly how can e-banking services be used?
Really convenient for online banking, but every other function such as, looking for the card promotions and so on, seem to be there for no reason.They don't even load. The stock informatiom and exchange rate are visible, but reliability is questionable. Please fix these. Its time for an update
One of worst bank app I ever used. I change even bank duty this unfriendly useless app. Even still they are not aware about to maintain the concept of user friendly online banking options. Such wired and complicated systems. Need to be improve from all the side.
Not user friendly at all and the app is not capable of delivering its intended use- convenient online banking. It is really hard to find the required options in the app. Users do not want to use the mobile banking app to read news and get stock market updates. These things being provided in this app creates a mess. Need heavy structural changes and lots of improvement to convert this into a real mobile banking app. It seems many other banks are far ahead than HNB in terms of e-banking.
Such a useless app. Requested to get approval to access and recieved a message from bank, but when i try to complete the registration flow it's showing errors and still not approved. It's not a user friendly app and couldn't connect help centre people also . Please fix it and make it easy.
Very preliminary type of application with frequent error screens. Have to log in with OTP several times to get one function done. Not user friendly compared to other banking apps.
this app was good till the last update. now we can't transfer money because of the new app and also v have to use chrome. when v speak to customer care they say to delete the history in chrome and try using the app. what has the app got to do with chrome browser. I tried telling the agent this and the agent tone changes as if they know everything.. it was good before now it's worst.. because chrome cannot be used in china... I even mailed them and up to now no use...
This is the very worst app. Since i cant login on time. So many password and precedure. Very poor design and performance. Every time i have to put username and password. Also have to wait for the OTB password. Dr. HNB team.Pls take a review of sampath viswa and NTB APP. Kindly make this app very user friendly and also the security.
even though your apps provide high security, it doesn't have a proper interface, it really hurts try to modify your interface as other banks like people's bank. though you were the first to provide mobile Banking app than people's bank,they have given as better app.try to improve your app like thier app.and some time we fail to get the urgent mobile reload on the particular day
The app is very basic, nothing that you cannot get on the (excellent) browser based mobile banking. In fact, when you click mobile banking, it opens a browser window.
The worst issue for me is the bank and branch selection. It's not user friendly. Also pressing the back button would log you out. I hope the developers fix these issues.
Worst mobile App comparing to other Bank Apps. This is complete Mobile web viewing in this app. To that, we don't need an app. We can just simply use mobile web. Worst app. Try to upgrade to a Actual app with Cutting edge technology and Features. Thanks.
Very poor quality application and can't even think about to compete with Sampath, NDB or any other banks' mobile apps. Such a waste of time and data. It is high time to go with the new technology. Even government banks have better apps.
Useless, wasting time, not working properly. Just like a app which was written by a beginner in app development :). Dont ever use this app for do online transaction, @developers just refer Sampath bank app and get an idea.
Almost most of the payments & bank transfers can done with this app. Security of personal details is guaranteed with 2 factor authentication. HNB credit cards can also link and manage from this app
Poor interface, look at other BANK apps, they are very user friendly. Please develop the app if you can.
It's difficult to use and it's not user friendly. This app looks like develop with under graduate student. Useless.
The worst app I've ever used. Not considered about user friendliness and UI designe ever. Also the only app I'm using in 2019, which had been last updated in 2017.
When i need to search the bank and the branch some times its really difficult to search. Most of the time I face it.
One of the wrost banking apps I have ever seen... technology is getting updated day by day, but still I don't know why HNB is carrying on the old school stuff, After getting disappointed I installed frimi and doing stuffs in it. Very disappointed ☹️ with HNB, should deactivate the bank account soon as well. And whatever you rate, how bad you comment still HNB will not care about these.
One of the worst banking apps.. Can't believe they have launched an app like this to pubic..this is like a beginners project. Very inconvenient.
Worst experience ever had UI looks horrible, cannot go back once logged out so many bugs. As a primer bank in Sri Lanka technology is worst
Highly unsatisfied with this app. poor & no of errors even can't login to it easily. We are hoping you need to react to this as soon as possible. Since no of bad comments for your app & service😒😒
Showing same web app 😠 just switched from combank. even worst. I thought HNB portal is good but time to find another one. probably NTB or BOC
Hate the very complicated user interface. Modify or improve this for a customer friendly , user frindly application..
I like the app, but There are practical issues with using it. For example every time I press back button, the app registers it as an invalid action and logs out of the account. I think this is because it's a web bases app. I don't like that i can't simply use back button to access the previous window and instead I have to go through the hideous process of starting from beginning. So I 'd like to see that in a future update. And also make it a local app rather than web based. Otherwise I enjoy it
