Follow your favourite NHL team, and let your Philips Hue notify you when they score a goal...
Please note that results are not real-time, usual delay is around 30-60 seconds if compared to live TV. There's less delay when streaming the game, or if you are able to pause/rewind your stream (or PVR). And when things are working too well, the app can be a spoiler!

The delay seems to change throughout the game (I'm streaming on Hulu TV). The first goal will come in about 15s too early, so I delay the app 15 seconds and then the next goal is a solid 90 seconds off. Is there a way to have the game time clock shown in the app for better syncing? Thank you!!
This app is great. I love my whole house being lit up red with goal scores. If there was any room for improvement I'd love to be able to assign colors per team. I follow two teams and it would be nice to set custom colors so I know who scored when both are playing at the same time.
Developer is responsive and tries to resolve issues when they arise. App works for the 2019/2020 season again! If you are running into issues, try resetting hub and uninstall/reinstall app. The app lost connection to my hub after about five games this season, but it's working now.
Love this app. Use it every season. I only wish you could select some custom light schemes beyond red and team colors. Would be cool for like a strobe option for certain lights when a goal is scored.
Simply amazing and still works in 2001 and 2022. Keep up the good work! Quick question how would I sink a sound to the light? I see it'd an option but I don't know how to use it. Is there a way to sinc with Google home?
So far so good this year 2021...Should add a game clock so we can sync up the goal celebration better... Also an option for longer blink duration.
The best app there is for hockey fans! This gives you a completely new and improved experience when watching from home, get yourself some hue lights and download now!
The delay on this app is literally embarrassing. If it's not going to be accurately synced, just dont offer it.
It worked great last season but now it won't connect to me hue bridge. Any advice? If I can get it working l will bump the stars up.
Unfortunately doesn't work for me even though the test option on the bottom right shows the connection works.

WELL ITS 1ST DAY OF THE 20-21 NHL SEASON! ALL THIS APP DOES IS "NOTHING"... ALL IT DOES IS CRASHES RIGHT AWAY WHEN I OPEN IT! ABSOLUTELY JUNK! I hope you're not serious with that reply?! Ummm im not an idiot... I know the app runs with the those lights!! I have the "PHILLIPS HUE LIGHTS & THE BRIDGE"!! Geez
I have now been using this app for several years now and it is fantastic.
I wish it wasn't delayed.

This works great! The UI is minimal, simple, and functional. I set my lamp to red like the goal light and the overhead lights to team colors. The notification delay from the live feed on TV is anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds, which I assume is mainly based on the app's linked scoring source. The lights flashed the instant my phone received the scoring notification. You may want to set a delay if using an online stream. I couldn't ask for anything more from a programming perspective. The fast light cycle speed is fantastic! Many of the Hue apps use a slow fade on action. This is much more exciting. The default cycle duration is 6 seconds. If you like it when your team scores, go into settings and change that to 15. Best of all, the lights return to their original colors after the flash is done. That's an often forgotten feature. NHL is the best of course, but I wish other sports had an app of this quality. It seems crazy to me that someone made an app like this for hockey before NFL or soccer.
Great app, the quickness that the scores are sent is amazing. Watching live TV games with the app running is just like being at the arena. Love that the lights return to normal after the flashing is done.
Very nice app. Only thing I wish it could do is return the selected lights to their original state. (which in my case is off)
Works great and notifications are super fast. Initially had some issues but received very quick feedback and constant communication until my problem was resolved.
Awesome app! Just need to add more time to the game delay.
Love the app but now it seems to have a long delay or it doesn't work. Hopefully a restart of the bridge will help. Open to any suggestions. Also deleted and restarted app
First off I have to say I love this app. It is improving for sure. I see bugs on Galaxy S10+(Android 11). (1) I have 3 hue colour lights in my room. They all flash properly on a goal but after 3 or 4 goals usually 1 light stays red and doesn't switch. (2) Is related to the first bug in that after a number of goals the app no long is able to control the lights or has lost its connection to the bridge. None of the apps buttons work. Typically force stop and relaunch fixes it temporary.
