Hockey Legacy Manager 20 - Be a General Manager

I've seen the other reviews, had recommendations from friends, and when I downloaded it, the interface and design were really good. However, as someone who has completely forgotten the intricacies of hockey, I'm clueless on many aspects of the game, and the "help" option is confusing. If you'd add a simple tutorial just for beginners and people new/forgotten the details to hockey, I'm pretty sure this game could at least be 4 stars.

First of all, the entire game is made by one person which is astonishing. The game is really easy to learn, really easy to pick up and really easy to get hooked to. Buying the pro version was a no-doubter as it unlocked select features and supported the creator of the game. I highly recommend to anyone who likes hockey or sports simulation games to try this one out.

Great game. I have been using it for several months now. Unfortunately, every few days the file that I have saved will not load saying "cannot load, file is corrupt". The first seasons I could play 10 seasons and no issue, now I can't seem to make it through one season. Not sure if it is a glitch or something with my save file.

That's the kind of hockey sim I was looking for. You can play as much as you can everyday, there is no need to wait for a gauge to fillup before you can do something. It's pretty much like the dynasty mode in EA Sports games with a little less depth. I would give a better rating but the game crashes every 30 min, and there could be a little more things to do like strategies/training/captaincy.

The best sports simulator since MLB manager. The only things I see missing is being able to hire and fire coaching staff with their own strategies, age, history etc. To really make it feel like your the GM. Also a feature needs to be made to pull a goalie in game when he is getting smashed. Dont know how ya dont get pulled after giving up 5 goals in a period in a half. Other than that its perfect. Almost forgot it needs all star awards and a way to go to a shootout, maybe choose your 5 shooters

Best mobile hockey manager out there. It's detailed enough to keep you occupied but at the same time isn't too cluttered. Being able to have real player names is a bonus as well. This is the first "realistic" hockey manager I have seen for android and it ticks off alot of boxes for those looking for the gm experience. Of course I would like to see more things implemented and an improvement to the accuracy of simulations, but other than that its a great time passer, especially if you buy pro.

The layout of this game is actually good and does a decent job of mimicking console. However, beyond that it is way too flawed to be enjoyable. It doesn't matter how good of a team you build because in a single season, every one of your players will be injured several times each. To the point where there's an injury for every 3 days that are simmed. It's like they added injuries for "realism" but put no thought into how to implicate the idea in moderation so everyone is seemingly made of glass.

Excellent game, very addictive. Very accurate to NHL GM Mode, but just simming. Scouting prospect and drafting is super fun. Love how random it can be where even if your an underdog you can still win. 5/5 What I would love to see is a way to cycle between teams easier in the trade screen (like swiping right or left), and also a way to search all players in the league where you can filter by position (similar to trade and contract screen).

Great game and all but the crashing and file corruption. I love this game, I really do but I can't handling the constant crashing especially after big moments in game like wining the cup, 1st overall pick, or a franchise player not being picked until 4th round. It's annoying to lose all of your progress and the auto save files always corrupts. So I opinion game is good just needs some work.

Great game. Really fun to kill time with. I'd like to see lines remain the same after a trade, it gets slightly annoying to adjust them after every trade. I'd like to see historical rosters added at some point in the future. Obviously this takes time so I will not be upset if it's months until it's released, or if it never is! Maybe contract extensions mid season?

Addictive and surprisingly deep. There are some flaws though, like not having a dedicated 'Roster' page, scouting gets tedious if you don't auto assign scouts, when a player gets injured in the playoffs and your team wins the championship; that player will not get credited for that championship despite playing in the playoffs, really annoying. However, I would highly recommend buying the Pro version, like I said it's addictive.

Quite an entertaining game; I'm mostly enjoying it except for a few bugs. During one game, the opposition scored at the beginning of the period, I mean literally with 20 min still on the clock. Is not physically possible, shouldn't be allowed in the game. Another game, my team lost in overtime. Looking back, I see that the score was 5-3. Hmm, quite the feat, scoring 2 goals in OT.

Good game overall. The play by play needs more phrases other than shot taken and goal scored to make it more authentic. (Passes to, penalty on, icing, fighting major on, injury to, wrist shot, slap shot, hits the post, hard check on) there are thousands you could add. Or give us the option to add what we want to tailor the game to our liking. Would like to see a rink added with animations like I've seen in free games.

Easily the best hockey team manager out there. All teams are provided, and many neat features you wouldn't expect it to have. Such as the entry drafts, draft lottery, even includes scouting and staff management. It's simple, easy to use, and overall a fun game. Pro also offers options that can spice up your gameplay and for over three dollars I'd say is worth it.

This is a well built game. I've had zero crashing issues, no major bugs, and the ads are not intrusive, for once. The drafting meta is satisfying and enjoyable. Features I would like to see added includes PP/PK, line chemistry, the ability to "lock" a line or roster so that the game doesn't jumble your lines after every injury.

Awesome! Its a great, easy and fun app to play. The only problem I have is, is having a much larger cap space. If I wanted to have all 99 OVR players, I wouldnt be able to keep them for their entire season. I just wish there was an unlimited cap space. Oh, and also wish the player names were the correct names and not random names. Other than that, great app!

Needs work. At one point i ended up with 7 first round picks, 2 years in a row. That should never happen. And when trade offers come in if you need to go look at stuff like the standings there is no where (that i can find) to see that trade until they offer it again. I would also like to see guys with a no trade check box. 17 offers for the same guy after i declined it 10 times before is annoying. I know its licensing but the letter logos is wierd. Too much like collage. Still fun, keep it up.

Not a bad game, but not realistic. Can take a team like the Kings, turnover most of the current line up with trades for players or picks and signing free agents. Use the right combo, and you can get the 1st pick overall for the draft. The following season, the team is league champs and almost undefeated. One addition should be for penalties, power play, shorthanded units. Too many bugs. Files corrupt, shuts down the game, or have to delete to start over. Hoping bugs are not in HLM 21.

Sim season, look at stats, trade aging player for a lottery pick, win the championship, draft high, sign players, and sim to September to see if your players got any better. That is the experience of this game. If that appeals to you, then you'll love it as a form of mindless stat watching. The PRO version is worth the cost of that appeals to you.

Simply an amazing game. If you've played any EA NHL franchise modes then you'll feel right at home. Except for one thing... this game is better than chel 20 franchise mode. I am extremely impressed by the simulation speed, the trades, rosters, level of customization, the list goes on. Best mobile game out there for hockey BY FAR 👍👌

Pretty good game if you like seeing stats like I do. I have 2 complaints. 1st Its that the logic sometimes seems off, For example the president's trophy curse is super real in my current save I am on season 2035/2036 and I am the only team that has ever won the cup and the presidents trophy in a single year. 2nd. Players retire at 40 automatically no matter their overall. I made a 99 overall guy and he was still 99 and retired at 40.

Excellent game, if you like hockey management games you will love this game. I own both 19 and 20 Pro versions they supply endless hours of fun. Off line mode is great when traveling. Well supported by the software author. Thanks for taking the time to make such an great game!

Everything I ever wanted in a hockey GM game for my phone. Really really happy with this. If I could offer a suggestion for future content expansions, it would be a historical mode (like FHM on Steam) that let you start back as far as 1967 - going through the expansions of the league and whatnot. Even if those never come though, I am still very happy with this.

If you like being a GM on EA Hockey games, you will love this app. Just don't do what I did, I clicked to have random names. It changed for the current players too, and effects all fture teams that you create not just that one created league. Will change my rating if this can be corrected for all seasons to switch it back.

Can only playing six seasons unless you pay and once you've done a few rounds thru it's easy to figure out. Same drafts every season, same superstars so eventually it becomes too easy to build a stacked team. Really fun but gets boring really quickly.
