VERY frustrating, I was notified that the new issue is available, but when I open the app, it only shows the new issue for a super short amount of time, then the new issue vanishes. I have unistalled, re-installed several times, but still getting the same results. It appears that this started after the new "language select" started. Would much rather have the printed edition. When I do open an issue, like may other reviewers have said, it is awkward to read, no font change, zoom, and so forth.
All downloaded issues disappeared after the last update. The app only gives me access to the last 2 issues. This is part of my 1-year free subscription. I doubt I'll subscribe if this is what I have to look forward. As others have said, there's no ability to zoom in either, which makes viewing difficult on my S21 Ultra. What ever happened to paper magazines?
2020-12: Update: Reinstalled, working great now on tablet and a Galaxy S8. Great improvement! Installed on a Samsung Tablet, SM-T560NU (compatible), running Android 7.1.1 - The app opened but was totally black. Nothing showed up. Uninstalled. Reinstalled with no luck. Uninstalled again. 11.2019, tried it again. Got to read one issue. Locked up afterwards. Uninstalled again.
I like having a hard copy wish that was an option! Using this app is ok. Would be better if you could zoom in on pictures and text. Text is way to small ti read on any phone
BRING BACK THE MAGAZINE. A REAL MAGAZINE. APP RUNS CONTINUOUSLY USING BATTERY LIFE. The app is cumbersome on a phone(but it's Harley so far behind on everything) Works well on PC or laptop,( really) 100% of people use their phones, to check things out. That was the only benefit of HOG now it's really not worth the money to join.
Frankly shocking. I can find no way to zoom in and make the tiny text bigger. Its also confusing and jumps around. Hard to see what you are actually reading. So I pay a yearly hog subscription but this magazine is free???? Why am I paying for hog? Penny pinching at it's very worst. Harley utter shame on you.
Terrible idea for Harley to move away from paper which I collect. I was in IT for 0ver40 years and hate that everything is an app now. Like others I think I'll save my $60 for HOG and buy motorcycle mags again. I always looked forward to receiving the HOG magazine in the mail.
I havectried multiple times to download magazines to my chromebook, and nothing happens. Really disappointed, because I read the first one and enjoyEd it.
In an effort to try and save a few bucks, you now go to a digital magazine. I guess this will be my last year as a hog member until they go back to a physical edition. Nobody wants to read a magazine on their computer, HD....
Stupidly pointless app. It is meant to be a magazine. That you can't zoom in to read the print.... what idiot paid for someone to programme this? And what spanner programmed it?
Love the app and having the current and past issues HOG magizines all on my tablet. Works great and is my go to for looking up information and articles.
After language is set nothing happens, it doesn't continue after recent update. Also prefer paper version!
I'm selling all my harleys, they can't send out 4 magazines a year after all the money I spend with them . Very disappointed
I like the fact that many of the articles expand with even more info. It makes a great read.
Love the app! I can read it anywhere without bringing along a magazine.
Interesting content bad rendering. Font is too small to read on mobile
Doesnt work on Samsung Galaxy Tab s4 tablet. It just shows a black screen.
Great to see all the content online to share...
Never got the real magazine Don't know why a billion dollar company can't give its customers a better experience this a joke if my membership wasn't giving to me I probably wouldn't pay for it
This app isn't compatible with literally any device I own.
love this, so nice to have the magazine on the go
Don't waste your time doesn't even download
We need a smartphone version of this
MIB decompression failed. Unable to download any of the magazine's on an Nexus 9.
Finally- They got it right. I've been trying to use this app for a long, long time and it was loaded with bugs. I tried it again last week and I think it finally works the way it was intended. Great job.
Downloaded after seeing article in issue 040. Downloaded app but will not download all of the pages. Out of full issue I can only view and read approximately 1/4 of the pages. Tried to download issue several times and results are same. I've deleted the app and will wait another year. Was hoping it would work so I could read back issues while on my extended road trips. Sad, sad.
So trying to log into the app and I get the following error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'lower'. That's annoying. Would like to see this application actually function the way it was intended. Sidenote: Found a way to download the mags another more reliable way that works on any device (not just tables or phablets). You guys need to up your game.
Great customer support! Corrected my previous comment below expeditiously. The app is user friendly, hyperlinks works great, and graphics are awesome too. Now, if they can allow permission to move from internal to the SD card. "Can't download any issues...received compression error MIB Compression Fail message on my tablet when attempting to download an issue. Reviewed comments and apparently other users having similar issues for sometime...time to upgrade this app to be compatible with today's technology." The above was correct in a timely manner...the app works, great job!
Just not good... I'm used to using the equivalent app on iPad and that werks seemlesly. This one is glitchy, it lags, it crops the screen oddly. Just not the same. Very disappointed.
Not good at all. Appears to function as it should, on my Pixel 6 (the reason for the second star.), however refuses operate correctly on my Chromebook. It keeps insisting that I rotate to portrait view before it will let me view pages correctly. I am very much for advances in technology and "moving with the times" but only when it gives, at the very least, a service of comparable quality. H-D should be pushing this developer for a better, more user friendly product.
