Worked well, but still trying to figure out some minor tuning. At this point of time its more human error than app...Please could you add a step by step guide to better tuning. Did some heavy Downhill riding and the Gimbal performed well. Didn't know I had to keep cell with Bluetooth connected...
Tried to sync the app for about an hour. After many attempts to find the gimble, from clearing the cache and rebooting, I still was unabke to connect. I'm using an Android phone so it might work on an Apple but no joy for me. I uninstalled and will use a separate remote.
I have a Samsung A5 (2016) Android 7. This App is pretty useless. Can't upgrade firmware and it crashes when trying to calibrate. It does work. I haven't tried timelapse feature or anything else yet. It maybe of use at some point.
App doesn't have the iSteady Mobile as an option. Wouldn't connect to Bluetooth thru the app, even though the phone conected to the gimbal just fine. Since you can only control video thru the app, this is currently useless to me.
The app does not connect to the gimbal. It asks for full device permissions and then can't even do anything. The gimbal is useless without the app so I guess I have to return it. Lame!
Absolute rubbish. Connects with gimbal but refuses to go through calibration process; freezes on first screen of six steps. And gimbal is not sitting level.
Very dissatisfied. Have a Samsung A5 and app wont even open. Updated phone and did all the needed required updates. Still wont open. Will end up sending the isteady pro back. Useless without a good app to run it properly or as advertised. 🤨🙄. Waste of money. Will buy dji instead.
motion time lapse - the pan and tilt don't sync through the motion. the pending tilt happens at the end of the pan motion. not as intended. should fix the sync of those motors

Does not find isteady pro2 gimbal. Gave app full permissions. Restarted phone. Restarted gimbal. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Nothing worked. Pixel 3xl
This particular app is useless, I found if you scan the QR code in the instruction booklet, and download the new app from there it works perfectly, now am very happy with my purchase, they really should have the new app in playstore.
online calibration doesn't work. it crashes my app everytime. Not sure what else the app really offers me.
the gimbal app works great with exception that it has no support for external microphone if it had that it would be perfect
I am not able to connect Bluetooth with hohem I pro, i am using android 7. I don't have latest updates in mobile what to do.
nothing works with the app once connected, no firmware update, no calibration. it's quite useless as it is

Make sure to use the right application. On my isteady mobile you have to use hohem studio

Bought the hohem hg 5 gimbal yesterday but sadily having problems with the app connection with the gimbal.

The iSteady Mobile is a very cool device, but the Andorid app is almost unusable. The app stops working on my Samsung S9+ about every 10 minutes. The record on/off functionality only works sometimes. If I would have known that the software was so buggy and unuseable, I would purchased a different brand gimbal. In this day and age, it just ain't that difficult to develop a world-class Android application.
