Features:Dining: Includes hours of operation, location, contact information and prices for all the dining halls. Provides nutritional information for almost every item available at D2, Deets, DXpress, Hokie Grill, Owens Food Court, Shultz, Shultz Express and West End. Allows you to keep track of your diet so you can be more prepared to avoid the dreaded Freshman Fifteen!
Maps: Includes sidewalk walking directions around the campus of Virginia Tech. The campus directory includes every building on campus and provides easy-to-follow directions for walking or biking.
Twitter Feed: Provides a feed of most recent tweets by Twitter accounts related to Virginia Tech. Get up-to-the minute news and information about what's happening on campus and around Blacksburg.
Information: Includes a list of important contacts to which every student should have easy access (eg. Safe Ride, VT Police, Student Affairs etc.). Also includes the academic calendar for the current school year.
Weather: Provides current conditions for Blacksburg, Virginia and a 7-day forecast. Weather information is provided by WeatherBug.

This app is suffering from neglect, (Last update was 2012) and back in 2012 it was pretty great at telling you when dining halls were open and that's what I mainly used it for. Now it auto crashes as soon as I open it, and even if it didn't it probably wouldn't have new places like Burger 37 that have opened since then. Hope it rebounds or someone else comes along with something better.
This app used to be good but then they updated it a while back and now it crashes upon opening. I've submitted countless bug reports with logs and they still haven't fixed it. (Galaxy S5.)
This app auto crashes as soon as you open it. Someone needs to rescue this app or Google just needs to get rid of it because it doesn't work anymore.
Great app, much better than the hokie mobile for iPhone, needs to update though that qdoba in Turner Place closes at 9 on Fridays now, not 10...other than that solid

This app is absolutely necessary for everyone at VT, new and old. It could only get better by adding daily dining specials.

This app is better than every Virginia Tech app in the world and every Virginia Tech app that could possibly be created in the future. I cannot recommend this app enough. I just got it today and I have already been in tens of thousands situations where the app has made my life significantly better. The best part of the app is definitely the calorie stuff for each of the dining halls at Virginia Tech. I found out that a lot of the food here has extraordinary amount of calories. Because of this app I have cut the amount I eat from dining halls and now i lead a healthier life!! I look forward to exploring the many features of the app. Once again, i recommend this app to everyone!

This app has almost everything you could need to know as a student at Virginia Tech. I use the dining hall open/closed screen all the time! Some things I would suggest adding in future updates are gym hours, more in depth nutrition info, and the academic calendar.
