On the msRotterdam. This app opens but crashes or fails to work well (white screen) frequently. Requiring a complete shutdown and restart. When it does work it has inaccurate itinerary information. Text sometimes take two hours to go through if it even sends at all. Sometimes it just says "Failed to send". This is either a poor app or poor on board system in use that can not handle the data traffic. Not a good app at all. This app has no message delete option.
Worked onboard but not now trying to do online checkin. Worthless now. As many have already noted, picture of ship and then goes to white screen. I reinstalled to get latest version ,April 6 update. Same story. Not up to Holland America's usual standard of excellence. Either fix it or take it down. It reflects badly on your reputation.
Poorly laid out app. Chat feature doesn't work. Not to mention that the ship's wifi is slow or doesn't work most of the time. I'm very disappointed with my whole experience with HAL and their app. I won't sail with them again.
After trying multiple times to load this app ( after it stopped working) I would always get a white screen and it was driving me nuts. I finally opened the what's new section, and there we go. The solution is there. I went to the app through settings deleted the data and cache and tadah! It worked. This is what they suggested If you are experiencing a white screen with Navigator, please clear the app data and cache for Navigator.
Found it useful for floorplans, menus, and checking itinerary and account, but the chat is broken. The chat's the only thing exclusive to the app, so while it's not pointless, it is disappointing.
I ţravel with a friend from another state. Her flight is always listed... mine not.. so it doesn't help me alot for my itinerary as far as any airport changes. Also the deck of the ships i travel on have never shown up, but my friend can pull them up on hers. So, actually this app is of no use to me. Contacted the IT dept in regards to these issues n they told me they have never had the problem with 2 guests leaving from different airports so can't do anything about it. I don't use the app.
Outstanding service, especially the food servers, the cooks, the bar tenders and almost all of the entire staff and crews are kind and courteous and very helpful, plenty of things to do on board, delicious foods, lots of entertainment, hope next time put some live music on the formal dining and different genres of music play by the live band on the stage specially rock and disco music and of course KARAOKE night.. Thank you Holland America Line..Keep up the good work..Bravo Zulu..👍
Hello, I have an Samsung S21 Ultra. The Navigator app won't work. The old version did but this new version just gives me a blank screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled, turn my phone off and on and disconnected and reconnected to my wifi. My wife has an apple phone and it works fine on hers. From the ratings it looks like a number of Android users have the same problem. Can you help?
Overall good app, not great; however missing chat notifications and when scrolling through EVENTS it will constantly RESET causing you to rescroll and try to find your previous spot.
FIXED: No idea if this will work for anyone else, but here's what worked for me. Samsung 21 Ultra - deleted the app, reinstalled it. In the app settings, cleared the cache, cleared the data and added back the camera & storage permissions. Turned off the "auto remove these permissions if you don't use the app" setting. Opened the app. Logged back in. Now it works.
Less than useless. App won't open at all. I get a white screen and nothing else. Yes, I've tried uninstall and reinstall several times. Please fix!!!!
This app is no longer working on my android phone since the latest OS updates. I have received installed twice and get nothing but a blank white screen.
It stopped working on my Samsung S10+. Reinstalled several times over several days. It displays opening screen and then turns white. I had been using it for months to plan a cruise in May. It works on my other devices, but not my most-used one. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Horrible app. Doesn't work half the time. Once information is put in, it disappears when you go back to review it. Impossible to find information about my cruises in logical places. Nowhere on the app to see what check in times are available and option to choose.
App barely works when it does work. It crashes often, and somehow has become the default app on my phone to open website links instead of chrome (i never set this permission). Also the app may decide to eat your boarding pass where you cant access it anymore.
The app is flaky. Sometimes it does what it's supposed to do but often not. It should be a lot better and I would suggest that the developers try it in action.
I'd give it a 0 rating if I could. I've tried to register 5 times and I've deleted & downloaded this app 5 times. No success. Update: I've been able to make this app work for about 6 months but now they changed it and it is not compatible with my phone. I guess Holland America doesn't care!!
App worked fine during Nov cruise. NOW all I get is a white screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing. Great update...NOT. HAL needs to fix this. Next cruise in 3 weeks. Sure would be nice to have a working app onboard. This is awful.
UPDATE.. I cleared all cache items and was able to login. Initial Review.. Do not download this app. It is useless. A white screen appears.. no fix has been made. Deleting & reinstalling app is a waste of time. White screen appears.
The app has to many bugs to list. If you don't keep clearing the app data and cache all you'll get is the spinning hourglass and nothing else will ever happen.
I can't open this app on my phone. It has been on my phone before and opened with no problem.
Installed the app and tapped the icon to start it up. Fade to white. Nothing. Just a total bright white screen. Actually would make a good flashlight! Did the usual reboot and reinstall.... Same big nothing results. All my other apps work just fine. So it's not me.... Galaxy Note 8.
Had the app, working fine. Then all of a sudden, blank screen. I have Uninstalled several times. Still blank screen. My trip is in 3 weeks hopefully it will work by then.
Not working! Get a white/blank screen after opening. I have a Samsung S20 phone. Works on my Apple tablet and my partners android, but not my phone
Useless for pre-planning. App shows different results (if any at all) between 2 travellers on the same booking. Does not reliably indicate "Gala" nights.
Not good at all. My family and I have a cruise planned in May and that are not even able to use the app!! We obviously have the same booking number since we are staying in a suite so we should all be able to log in to the app.
I have a Google email email address. When I tried register that email to the Hallandale America Navigator app, the registration tells me that they don't have that email address in their records and. Subsequently me.e
Was great, won't load now. Starts out with opening screen then just goes white. Please fix.
I have been trying to get this app to work. I read the reviews and the info about going to the app and deleting the cache in the memory which I did. STILL got a white screen. This time, I also deleted the data, even though the phone warns "are you sure you want to do this?" I thought.. WTH...go for it. And that finally got it working. EUREKA!
