Appears to have a battery draining problem but I couldn't find out why exactly despite only letting it run in the background. There's also no option to add additional highlight words to receive notifications from. Other than those 2 points it's a very nice looking app that I would definitely use were the last 2 points fixed or added.

When I click a link in IRC that opens a picture and then switch back the keyboard will be minimized but the app will be under the impression the keyboard is still open and I then have to open and close it to get the app to go back to full screen 'you don't have the keyboard open' mode. The second issue is that holoirc doesnt yet have proper nougat side by side app support and forces a full screen keyboard. The last issue is the lack of OP controls for kick/ban/op/deop with buttons instead of commands.

It used to always work in the last update, but now it constantly turns off and disconnects, even when I'm using the strongest WiFi connection. It also rarely completely deletes the chat. While it is survivable, it does need to be fixed

I've tried them all, best one so far. Thanks for fixing issues author. Two small improvements: 1. I want to be able to swipe between channels, the way it is now is odd for phones. 2' (less necessary) PLEASE PLEASE add android wear support, it'll make this perfect.

As the title states, since the update was pushed out, I have been experiencing some step-wise selection issues. For example, when I select actions on a server, the users tab should not appear, etc... The design and app capability is what makes it three stars, but the process flow for user interface makes this app receive negative two.

It's a great interface, but every time anyone types a /me command that should appear as say, *friend waves hello, instead it appears as *Ros waves hello, in a chat with myself. It makes group IRCs, role-playing and general chatting impossible. No other IRC app I've ever used has had this problem. I'd like to like it, but unless this is fixed this app is useless.

Seemed brilliant, EXCEPT that because I don't have any external storage (the MicroSD slot on this phone is broken) I can't save any logs. This renders the app useless to me. Fix this (i.e. allow changing of destination folder) and it would get 5 stars from me. As it is will have to try another, sorry...

Better than most, but when someone uses /me to emote it sends that to me in a second window with my name on it, as if I'm PMing myself. Makes conversations hard to follow, especially if you're talking to more than one person. Maybe there's a setting to tweak that I haven't found. Hope it gets fixed.

I've tried quite a few clients and this one seems to work the best for me. What I'd improve is adding swipe support (swiping left and right through opened chats/conversations) and maybe a tab-like appearance of those chats/conversations at the top as an option in settings. For people who got used to them. But, there's one thing I don't like that I have to mention and that's inability to find chat logs. If I start a conversation with a person I've already chatted before, I'm expecting to have chat log already loaded in that opened window. Fix that and you'll have my fifth star. Anyway, thanks for the great work you've done so far and keep it up even better.

This client would be solid if not for one very odd issue, sometimes when you're querying with people what they say will open up in a new query window as if you sent it. It's a very strange bug, other than that this client is usable.

Initial test, it looks freat. Very clean, very responsive. Only complaint is dark theme should be on by default or else some poeple's colors are far too light to read

Tried several different IRC apps live this one the most. For the moment I docked it a point because /me sent in pm... Causes the client to act as if you msfed it to yourself

could be better if the chat is copyable (long press), and if I can change the chat font. overall it is a beast

If you enjoy using SSL or sending plaintext passwords. More SASL options would be nice, specifically something using keys.

Love this app, works well with my znc bouncer. One feature request though: When tapping the person icon to autocomplete, it puts a colon after the name. There should be a setting to disable this, or change it.

Now that the bugs introduced in the UI overhaul have been fixed, this is back to being a decent IRC app. It doesn't, however, support some of the functions of our server anymore, so there's still a little ways to go. If you just need basic functions this is the one I still recommend!

I have a Zenpad 10 with external keyboard and can not get this pos to understand what standard keyboard I use. Truly dissapointed.

Worthless junk. It just keeps failing to connect at all to undernet. Try another one.

Seems to be an okay irc app. I'm looking for one with ctcp and xdcc though. This one appears to support xdcc but there's a glitch where the file transfer didn't get properly accepted. This particular bot might require auto- accept, which i can't find in the options menu. Also can't find manual bug report option.

It's good, but it does not remember my nickname. It always connect with HoloIRCUser.

Great GUI, but very disappointing that it can't scan for active channels. I would really like the ability to scan and list channels with their number of users.

Great irc app only small issue i have is it doesn't seem to have an auto scroll feater so you need to manually scroll down the list to see the latest posts in a conversation other than that it's great

Open source and works decently enough for chat. DCC support is flaky though especially on Android Nougat.

Crashes a lot these days, can't keep a connection

It will not save username no matter what I do. Each time I change it, it go back to default name. Any suggestions? I want it to work.

Great looking app, but lacks a true dark mode for AMOLED screens which would be nice. Also can't seem to have auto scrolling for new messages?

The /list command does not work. This is the one issue I have with this app. I can join channels fine.... As long as I have their names memorized.
