Holy Bible Verses
We currently support 2 of the most popular bible versions, "King James Version" (KJV) for English language and "La Biblia de las Américas" (LBLA) for Spanish language. More translations and versions coming in future updates.
Use swipe gestures to navigate. Swipe down to get a random one. Share verses with friends and family by long tapping the screen and hear them being spoken out loud by tapping on the "speak(lips)" icon in the title bar (internet connection recommended, but works with internal text-to-speech as well). You can also mannage your bookmarks and search trough the entire bible.
Use the titlebar for fast navigation. Press on the "home" icon to get to the main screen; press on the title to quickly get to the book list or available versions; use the "bookmark" icon to add or remove a verse from Bookmarks, the "speak(lips)" icon for text-to-speech, the "search" icon to search trough the entire Bible, or the "share" icon in the main screen to tell others about this app.

* TEXT-TO-SPEECH ***
* There are phones that do not support text-to-speech. Sorry for that.
* To check whether your phone has text-to-speech capabilities go to Menu -> Settings -> Voice input & output -> Text-to-speech settings. On models with Android 1.6 go to Menu -> Settings -> Speech synthesis.
* Also you can reach text-to-speech settings by clicking the "TTS Settings" menu item of our application.
* If Pico TTS engine is not installed, please install it by clicking "Install voice data".
* To select the default speech engine, speech rate, or to specify your default settings, go to Text-to-speech settings as described above.

The internet permissions are needed for text-to-speech and the phone state permission is needed for ads. The app is free but we need ad support to carry on, maintain it, and improve it. We appreciate your understanding and support and thank you for giving our app a try!

V.good & fun app. An easy & exciting way to read & study the bible. However, one should have the option of readind more than one verse per page. My finger and wrist start aching after a while of scrolling back or forward in order to read previous verses or read a wholr chapter. I very much hope this can be done. May God continue to uphold us all as we try to seek Him. Amen. thanks
sence I found this bible amp, I am sooooo happy with it it works for me thank you for making it public I cannot describe how many times I just needed a quick word from God and I got it off of my phone bible amp I enjoy it every day. Awesome- Reading the Holy Bible Verses is far less confusing with out the verse being swallowed up by the other text surrounding it. Plus gives one a chance to reflect on the verse read without getting confused. Excellent work ! RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE SHOULD INSTALL, GOD BLESS
I like this bible .. Not because iam Chriastian ... I reaaly like it and i can even share and teach my younger brother and sister but i think if we get new version of This Holy Bible it would be better.. Because its hard to understand some of the Old words .... And ha ha if i cnt undrstnd first, then how could tell or teach and share the Precious Word Of GOD to Others... but its gud to read n to find verses..
I was a sceptic who downloaded this app. For my fiance's mother who was in the hospital without a bible. After I went home I browsed the app. for hours and although I still have trouble grasping the full picture, I have fallen in love with the message of the bible and realized how I should (and want to) live my life! I will continue on my path of faith and I will keep this app. by my side the entire time! P.S. easy to navigate and search :)
I mostly use it to keep my favorite verses in 1 place. I would have given it 5 if it allowed you to bookmark multiple verses together (because some sentences take up to verses, so one without the other help much). Minor gripe though :)
I absolutely love this app. You don't have to sign in or share your email address or receive unwanted emails this app is awesome.
I was just going to see what it was like. When I first started looking at the app. Then before I really realized had read like three chapters. It's been a long time scent I have read the Bible or been to church. I think this app is going to be the first step. On my way back to where I need to be with the Lord. Thank u truly great app!!!
I use it for texting all the time. After testing a bunch of other KJV apps. This is the correct 1769. THE BEST. The only thing that would make it better is having the italicized words. Audio by John Rhys-Davis and Liam Neeson would be awesome too. :-)
OK, ok, BETTER,for you cringing linguists out there. I do like playing with word. And speaking of words, further translations are seriously called for here! I would choose the NIV,the NAS, or the ESN. Beyond that,it's primo! The layout is super, and the print is crystal clear. B+ that-is-all, thankyouverymuch
I don't like how you have to scroll all lot to find your verse but every thiing eles is good

I really didnt enjoy reading the bible. But I strarted going to church.and I was reading it. So I thought to myself, they should have an app on my phone. And then I found this wonderful app that made thec bible interesting and easy to read. Enjoy :)
I really enjoy this app but for the fact that one needs to always press on the talking option. I would have prefered it even more if it could just talk continuously and stop when we choose to. Asides this to me its supperb.
It is very full to carry holybible in my mobile, thankx who developed this apps I am so thankfull to them, god bless them
I'm satisfied with the results I find so far. I can carry my bible without taking up any extra room in my purse because the bible amp is in my phone great!!! I have no complaints yet. Maybe sometime the top of the page is to high and I can't see the words but maybe I can adjust my phone imaging. Thanks
The perfect way to stay the word and leave to know God more is through this easy to use and access Bible. I recommend it to allow Christians all over the world.
I love that I can get so much inspiration and assurance any time from the Word of God with this app. When I need a verse of scripture to mediate on this is my go to app.
I don't know if there are more, but 2 Timothy 4:10 is incorrect. The word TITUS is replaced with 2 TIMOTHY at the end of the verse.
This app is handy to have but not the quickest on 3G. Sometimes, it won't load the scripture I'm looking for.
was a daily use app. but today there was a hot girls add at the bottom of it. what a disgrace-an affront to God. why tempt Gods people. kids see that
I like this application because it is offline app. And it has audio, and new testament. I will rate it 6 if there is 6

It give u the bible, but some pages I can't see the top of the page which is the beginning of what I need to see. When I scroll to the top it ask me what book, chapter and verse all over again. This need to be fixed

this is a great tool n app. need other color settingz n better speaking voice n its all good.
Great app to stay in Gods word and easily share with friends. The only down side is you can't change what version to read in.
So inspiring, It's much nicely and easy to read if there is a sort of langauge available to translate the thoughts of our Lord, for easier to understand. Please, adding the tagalog translation (Filipino Language). And also some of the verses was not fully shown specially in the first sentence of the top. By the way, I was so blessed in the grace of our Lord in the name of Jesus. Amen.
