Login on app is an issue. As another I've seen has also stated, I login fine online, but the same credentials are not working in app. Tired uninstalling and reinstalling, it did not help. Please fix this. It is frustrating and makes the app pointless.
Was working fine before the last update. Now I can't login. App is basically useless, since it just shows up with an error message to try again later. I can login just fine on my phone's web browser.
As many other reviews say the app will NOT allow you to log in and throws an error, but you can log in online with the SAME user credentials withOUT any issues. From the dates on the reviews this issue has apparently been around for a while. However, there are no comments from the developers on the reviews that talk about the log in issue. Apparently they either don't read reviews or just don't care. I'm going to say that they are aware and just don't care.
The app has not worked in a month. It's inconvenient to open through the website to manage meals. Prior to that it worked great! Please get it up and running again.
App works great, no problems. Don't know what ppl are complaining about. For the price, i think Home Chef is the best value, good options of meals that aren't totally carb laden, plenty of quick cooking or minimal prep dishes, and they don't just load up on starchy veggies on every dish or pasta, as some other services do. They really have a great balance, and good packaging. Out of the services I've tried, they're across the board the best in terms of flexibility, choice, and value.
The app was working great! Now I am logged out for some reason and when I try to log back in, it says error, try again later. It has been like this for over a week. I have updated and uninstalled and reinstalled.

Great Recipes! Horrible, App and customer service who lie to you! They don't box their food ingredients or their recipes in a consistent manner. U can expect spillage of ingredients outside the packaging contaminating it. Recipes routinely aren't included in the delivery box & never on time! sometimes not even on the right day. Now lets get to their app, the app i mean EVERY TIME i use it i have to switch over to a browser because app says bad connection ALL the time. Pros are great Recipes.
I love the food options from Home Chef, but the Android app has completely stopped working. Tried uninstall/reinstall. Can't even get logged in. App works fine on my Apple device.
as of 5/17/22, i've been locked out of the app for a month. it randomly logged me out and won't let me log back in. i get into the website just fine. if a functional app is a must for you, i cannot recommend home chef
Was very excited to get the app and it is not letting me log in but when I log in on the computer it's letting me log right in so there's something wrong with the app saying error try again later!!!!!
Can't login any more through the app. Web works fine. Very annoying since I use the app more than the cards to follow the recipes.

Same problem as others. Same login and password on the website doesn't work on the app. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Deleted cookies. Still no go.

Over-all I Love Home Chef, but after the latest Android update, the app will no longer let you login. I keep getting an error message. I'm still able to login on the web without issue though. I'm really enjoying the fresh food and variety. Thumbs up 👍....
Always delivers my meals on time, I love the option to sub out for different proteins with meals and even add double portions. The app is easy to navigate and intuitive. Skipping weeks is also easy depending on your schedule. I also enjoy all the a la carte options you can add to your meal boxes whenever you want too. If there is an ingredient shortage or change they always notify you about it or sometimes will refund you the cost of the meal if they can't find a substitute for that ingredient.
