It's great WHEN it works. This app works probably 40% of the time. Every other bank app I have gives me no problem. If I try to use the "preview" feature to check my balance really quick, it always says there is an error and requests me to log back in. After I enter my login, it says error again. I have to actually go to the desktop site (which is almost impossible to read on my phone), and manually log on to check my balance.
Hopefully this new update will be better for everyone I found that when you can't login is because of updates on the app. I have had the same problems. Hopefully things are going to be better. Very good bank to use I have used them for years, they always take good care of any and problems that I ever had.
This app used to be the best. After the new update it is unusable. It opens, I put my login info and it crashes. I tried uninstall/reinstall, but it just no longer works.
Good job giving useful instructions on moving to the new app in the old one. Super cool how this was not at all frustrating and not ONCE did I have to consider that this was some sort of elaborate phishing attempt. How in the world was whatever "plan" that was executed here given the green light??
Never seems to be working. Tried 5 times today including deleting app and reinstalling with still no success. Nor the phone home system either. So happy what I wanted to take care of wasnt an emergency!
Clunky, watered down version of web. Just OK, good enough to get by when you need to check a balance, pay a bill, move some money, etc But clunky...
Worked flawlessly for the longest time but recently, after the update, it crashes immediately upon logging in. I actually found the app better than the desktop site until now.
This app is so glitchy and doesn't load half the time. Many times the sign in screen won't even load. I need this app to do online banking but this app needs to be greatly improved!!!
I had to photo my check 3 times because of a shadow from my overhead light. I used natural light so I am hoping its accepted this time. love the convenience because I work during regular banking hours.
Tried again today to use the app (am out of town all week so it's the only access I have) and you go to sign in, acts like it may actually open but nope! It closed again.
I give it a 5 star because it has work great untill last week. I cannot log in with finger print or password. It acts like it will open and then says app stopped working. I hope this gets fixed soon.
I had one challenge, called online banking support. It was immediately updated and I have successfully made my first online deposit using Home Federal's app. Very pleased with the function and support.

I constantly have to delete and re-download the app just to log in. 1 in every 3 of my mobile deposits are rejected and the app doesn't alert me or provide any messages that the deposit was rejected.
I've been with Home Federal since 1987, love the people and the service! Consistent and excellent service without fail. Truly a hometown bank that cares about each individual customer.
Latest update causes app to crash immediately on sign in on Android 11 Galaxy S21 Ultra. Fix it please. It was flawless for years.

Good app the only drawback is you have to use fingerprint or touch id sign on or it forces you to change your password every few weeks
Have to keep reinstalling. Often get "lang issue" that keeps the app from opening.
I like the great service and they always make sure i am informed of changes in my account and I like the new mobile app.

Have had app for three years with savings account and no problems. Trying checking account APRIL 2020 for bill payments due to covd-19.
used to be impressed, ran device maintenance, my app has crashed 126 times, CONSECUTIVELY!
Worked great until now, crashes as soon as i try to log on....please fix!
It crashes constantly doesn't keep track if my transaction history like it should I think it's the bank
This update sucks. Every time I want to sign in the website crashes.
Used to be great but for over a week now it keeps crashing after I hit login! Won't open at all. Tried delete app and re download it but that didn't work either! Thinking of switching banks. I use the app everyday so this is a huge thing for me since I can't open it! Very disappointed!
