Fantastic set-up. Very happy with it. So much more confident with my internet being secure thanks to Home Network Security.
my trend micro device never turns green so I can't use it and there's no way to figure out what to do now basically I'm out of luck --- update ---- So apparently the documentation provided was not clear enough. The light will turn green but only under the following conditions. You must first connect the network cable then the power....or perhaps the other way around. At any rate it is possible to connect these 2 in the wrong order and end up unable to get it to go green.
Intermittently and unpredictably blocks *all* iOS devices (and several others, including TV STBs) even though I have approved them and changed operating mode as instructed by the app's help. Now I understand why the original purchaser gave it to me for free. Would anybody care for an elegant black paperweight?
Seems to work sporadically. For example, I unticked "allow home network access" for a particular machine, it would then block general internet site (the warning would come up and state blocked due to trens micro) but then just open up another tab and put on youtube no problems.....surely blocked means ALL traffic....?
Great app. I have loved what is offers up to this point. Needed an update so I tried to update it in play store and it just spins "waiting for download". I have tried cancelling the update and re-trying. I uninstalled the app and now I can't re-install because the same issue is occurring. I have a child's internet paused that I now can't unpause because i can't access the app (you can imagine how much frustration that is causing)
07/04/20 I open the app to be told it needs updating. I agree it takes me to Google play where I press update. It says updating then after a few minutes it says nothing and the "OPEN" tab is greyed out. I close out and reopen the app to be again told I need to update it I press update now, it takes me to Google play again and "OPEN" is still greyed out since the last update my station won't go online 😭🤔
Doesn't always work & costs a fortune
Worked well until I had to update. It just never updated. Also kids just kept unplugging it. Wish there was a way it could not be disconnected by kids when they didn't like the constrictions.
Works great when it stays connected. internet stays but this device keeps going offline. Why not add a reboot on the app.
I have used it before. Great for the extra security. Trend you have done it again. Fantastic service and security. Have used alot of different Trend products for about 10 years now always great.
Mine quits without scanning everything and so gives me no results. I have used house call in the past, works well but no completion for me with android.
Every time I'm trying to update it takes me back to the same page. My home network security can not be updated. We are paying money for peanuts. How the heck I can update if it doesn't let you. Can you please text me how to update??
Good product but having issues as the parental control/time limit does not work properly sometimes. Not sure how to resolve this.
why does my home security app shows protection disabled in my phone????? How do i enable it and also it asks to change ip address of my modem whay is that?

Have this unit for more than a year and it's been working great
Not impressed,worked great for 6 mths then the home network security station went off line and won't reconnect with my modem,keeps telling me my modem connection settings are wrong even though they haven't been changed.
