The app is beyond terrible it never connects and when you finally get it connected by some miracle the notification sound goes off every 5 seconds without actually getting a notification. If you spend hundreds of dollars on products that require an app to work the app should at least work

Absolute rubbish. What use is a security system if half the time you can't log on with your phone?? Sometimes you end up with an alarm going off because you didn't un set it when you went outside briefly then you can't log on to turn it off. I've had various android devices and tablets, the only thing that often works is to turn off the hub at the mains then turn it back on again. I've also bought a second hub in case mine was faulty but the new one is just as bad.

I downloaded this app and followed the instructions for android. It finds my router, I put in the password and press next. An error pops up saying the camera has no internet connection... But the progress bar still moves, so I leave it. After several minutes I get an error that I put in the wrong password (I did not). I noticed it's kicking me off my phone's wifi connection at the point where the first error pops up. I used a totally different phone. Same thing. It's the app. It's bad. Fix it.

Rarely connects to the camera, whether I'm home or away. I've changed settings and everything. What's the point if I cannot SEE or even hear anything completely when I get a motion detection?? Black screen saying it may take awhile to connect. Replacing it with a better system ASAP. It used to work fine in the beginning. Now? Nothing.

Since the Android software update I have been unable to use the app on 4G. It works fine on wifi. I have tried absolutely everything and the only solution was to do a factory reset but it soon stopped working again. The whole system is now useless as I can't access it away from home. Very disappointed as it was not a cheap system to set up. edit: software update on my s9 on 2nd June and the home network is working remotely again.

Not possible to connect to HD camera from mobile networks 3G/4G. System bug? Otherwise system itself is preaty robust, working as it should. But the user interface is quite rudimental and unfriendly. It takes forever to setup the system, creat scenarios and so no. Furthermore, I cannot install this app on all my devices, despite complying with all the requirements listed in the description. To bad.... Maybe Panasonic will eventually launch an app compatible with tablets and landscape screens.

App doesn't work when using mobile data. Can only access when using wifi on same network. All permissions are allowed. No priblems with the quality and sensitivity of the cameras. But just useless if you can't control and access on the go. Looks like I'm not the onlu one.This has been broken since the Dec update - FIX IT PANASONIC Unable to connect to Alexa respite making an account. Have given up on that one. Don't bothet with this security system unless you can deal with endless frustrations!

had this for about a year now, door sensors, motion sensors, CCTV and it work well. but know my phone has updated the remote connection is lost and I have tried everything for it to connect. updated the app and still no connection when away from home. now the full system is pointless.

29/01/2020 I updated the Home Network System App on my phone and it is working!! Thank you for fixing what was wrong. 24/9/2019 I am very disappointed. Could only use WPS to connect the Hub to the Wifi. None of the connection steps via the Home Network System App works. So, waste of money and time, for no connection to app, no view from cameras or any other use.

Not just the app but the whole system. Cant connect the hub remotely so have to use the WPS button on my router and then cannot connect a single phone or device to it because the initial set up was 'not completed' even though my hub is connected to wifi...so essentially have a useless BOX sitting in my house doing nothing because you cant connect a camera.....because you cant connect a device. what a waste of time and money.

Originally posted an extremely frustrated review, but as of 12/07/19 the application is working! Whatever you guys did seems to have worked. Our hardware upon syncing even updated themselves. You don't need to hook up the siren if you keep your phone near you with the sound on, as we're still cautious about false alarms. Thank you so much, Panasonic!

have had the panasonic home network hub + 2 of the 360p cameras for over 5 years now - still going strong. over the years i continue to struggle with connectivity problems, but have worked through them and keep the system operating. As of August 2019, we only have one phone that connects to the system via wifi, i have to connect remotely even when home (android) - again still working with this workaround. overall it is a working system, but a low-quality one. 3 stars.

This app needs an update to fix its issues. Connects fine however whenever I get a notification that the door sensor has gone off, it freezes up when I try to go into the app to turn off the sensor. It also does not notify me all the time if a sensor is tripped.

The app use to work on my old phone, and now its not working on my new phone. I called customer support they tried everything to connect the phone to the hub, Panasonic you stated you have update the app. I'm disappointed, please address the problems everyone is stated they are having with the system. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Unbelievable! First update to the app in over a year, to insert a camera tweak, totally ignoring the majority of users' complaints about the inability to connect remotely, through data or Emmy Wi-Fi other than your home Wi-Fi, rendering the whole system useless. The awfulness of this company's attitude to customers is beyond description.

A great DIY modular Alarm system that I found affordable to add too when finances were available. The Smart Control scenario's & all my Motion Detector programmings are the heart of my Alarm system. I'm always keen to demonstrate how this system works. Now that Fibre is connected the Alerts are quick & clear. I love this.

We got this to check in on our dog since the last device we used was garbage. We figured hey, it's Panasonic, it should be good enough. Nope, this thing is an even bigger pile of garbage, the app is just as bad as the actual camera.. had it operating for a week or two, then it just stopped. It would be easier for me to learn how to build my own wireless camera and then program it myself, than to try and use this app with the camera. Don't bother contacting me either (devs), my rating will stay as is.

Update for Android 11: The app doesn't connect to the hub and crashes. Update for Android 10 (December 2019): Fixed - The issue with pink (purple) rectangle showing instead of video was resolved. Not fixed - Connecting to the hub over 4G network. Update March 2020: Still cannot connect remotely over Wi-Fi or 4G. One star :-( Update for version 6.2 (October 2021): The app still fails to connect to the hub remotely.

Constantly having to restart the hub as our phones keep losing connection. It's really starting to become annoying. When it did work, it was great. I don't know if it does have something to do with the last update but it's been happening for a similar time!?

Returning back unfortunately. What could be a great product but let down by the app and setup in general. It asks to do something and waits 3min regardless at each step. If you mistype network password you'll wait 10min for initial setup. This is not on, the app is well behind current standards and not user friendly.
