Overall really nice app. Fair price for the service. Ability to turn on the phones flashlight is cool. Night vision works surprisingly good. Ability to record and review works well. But there are a few missing features. Ability to cast the stream to the TV or a Google Home Hub. No ability to change which camera on the phone is being used, I have a phone with a wide angle lens that can't be switched used. Wish framerate could be set manually, upto 30fps would be ideal.

Bottom line is that it works and very well! Saves on the expense of the purchase of a camera. I use an old cell phone no longer in use for my garage deliveries from Amazon. 2 1 22 Upon opening the app, Alfred reports there is and has been an updated version. Despite going to the Play store to effect this update as instructed, I'm unable to see of find the way to do it. I read that I'm not the only one with this issue. 5 12 22 And things just got a whole lot better with the current updates!!!

this app is easy to use and very helpful. i can remotely control which camera my device uses. it even has some nice extra features like two-way mic and a remote- controlled siren. the paid version is a little heavy on the wallet bc it is a year subscription, but it really only comes down to about $5 per month, so all said, it's not really expensive, and it is worth the price. it may be unnecessary in many circumstances, though, because the free version is usually adequate for my purposes.

Have been using this app for several months and the free version alone has ALWAYS been reliable. The motion detection feature is impeccable and gives me great peace of mind. I would like to try out the paid version and, If I have any qualms at all, it's because I wad supposed to get 30 days of the paid version for a free trial period for completing a Twitter challenge. Great, simple idea! Easy to use, great quality, FREE BASIC VERSION IS AWESOME!, you can also pay to upgrade to hd. The settings are very easy to understand, nothing too crazy. Offers power saver & motion detection. You can also record from viewer device. Loving it so far! Can't wait to catch my kitties up to no good, muahahah 💋🐾😺😎

Let me sett the record straight. 1. No, you don't need to leave your phone unlocked. Ensure your phone's settings aren't interfering if you're having trouble with this. 2. Memory issues are your fault, not the app's. 3. If you use low end devices for your cameras, expect low end results. Alfred App is the best, and I've been using it near two years without a single issue.

This app is very impressive and works flawlessly. It's very user friendly and easy to navigate. The video quality was a lot better than I had expected, a long with other useful features such as: remotely changing from front to rear camera view, turn the phones light on, rotate cameras image, ect. All these awesome features to use that will bring any old smart phone back to a daily used device, and it's completely FREE!!!!! I was so impressed that I would have bought the app.

It's the best app of this kind that I've been able to find. The others were hot garbage. It's very well laid out and easy to use - but I've has big issues recently. I reinstalled on both devices and it's back to working. Lots of ads but they are silent and there's no timer, and the pro version is cheap. (Notes to devs: I think the summer time change broke my app. Also please add dark mode to the interface on both viewer and cameras. 100% black to save battery on OLED.)

Easy to install and setup, worked perfectly minutes after starting download! Finally found a use for all my old cell phones. I immediately signed up for the payment plan to get higher resolution, very happy with all the features. One year subscription is less than I would have paid for one security camera, and I'm using several old phones that have better resolution! Even my wife was impressed, and she is difficult to impress with technology. Thanks for the wicked cool app!

it really only works when I'm home which defeats the purpose. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on all devices several times and it's still only useful for a limited time.all are on my wifi at home I've done everything I can think of to get it to work but it won't. I did as suggested it improved slightly however they're not exactly reliable. if you suspect anything you have to definitely check them. it doesn't pick up all motion either.

Went for a small vacation wanted some way to check up on the house at a cheap price, saw they had a free version decided to try it out. And it was exceptional, you can set up multiple cameras. Used old phones i no longer use as long as the camera works they can be set up. most of us has old phones so why not. The quality is decent on the free trial even records 5 secs with motion detection on. The paid version would come in handy even more so but is worth the money. Would reccomend. Great app.

Installed it. Got it to work but had to factory reinstall my phone. Then I could not see any information in the settings for how to use the motion detection. I'm never going to pay for an app that is not intuitive on how or where the video motion detection files are located if anywhere . Horible app for something premium. When of they make it intuitive I will look bad at it one day

You can even talk through the phones like an intercom, turn the flashlight off & on, and the night vision setting actually works, and works VERY WELL!!! This is definitely a useful app!! 5 STARS!!

The only good feature I found so far is the zoom where you can pan left or right and zoom in on the viewing area. Otherwise the quality of the video in low-light scenarios is just garbage. Even in HD it's not worth the monthly fee. I found several other apps that are way better and free.

Just finished the setup and so far so good picture, sound, motion detector, low light vision it all works and looks great to me. All that for free is alright in my book. I will come back in a week or so and update my review after I've had a chance to really put it to use.

This app requires you to leave your unattended device unlocked. There is no capability for background or locked use which gives the discoverer of the device full access to your data as well as the ability to turn off the device. Presumably you might use it in a security context at a hotel, etc where you are specifically using the software to guard access to something valuable. What's more valuable than your online data and access to all of your social media and banking apps?

Like the service, prefer you could zoom in without paying, by fo a free app it's ok. Also, having a better layout would be a good idea. Have to switch pages for everything is kind of a hassle. Otherwise, great app.

Unable to log in again. The app is unusable I have to find another one now. Google login times out with error 3001 code. The know more link goes to self help steps that don't work. The password reset link also times out, no email received. It's been days. I think it's from this update that I would opt out of, if I could.

Works well. Wish night mode was a little brighter but that's probly the phones limitation. I don't have WiFi but my tablet works great and it works on mobile hotspot well. Pic quality decent. I'm sort on cash at the moment but will try upgraded version when I can. Ads are not to bad just have to x out of them every so often.used wire coat hangers to make mounts has worked well. Overall I am extremely satisfied w/ this app. Saved me from having to buy cams. I use 2 old TMobile Android phones

Wonderful Free security that I can easily utilize with old devices and minimal tech knowledge. I espionage love the saved moment and share features. I recommend it to everyone I know! Only improvement would be if I could add my smart TVs or if you sold outdoor cameras!I'd love to to product testing!

This is a wonderful app and has helped me a lot to keep an eye on my puppy. However, it keeps eating data even when there is strong wifi signal. This happens on a viewer device. I am using Samsung Galaxy S9+ as viewer. I will raise my ratings when this is resolved.

I like it. Set up couldn't be easier and it works like a charm. The only thing that's missing is the ability to take a single frame snapshot. I love that I can turn on the flashlight. The zoom and microphone work great too. The upgrade to premium features are worth the price.
