Home Security Camera - Home Eye
Home Eye uses your mobile device's camera to track and detect movement. Start Home Eye, switch on monitoring, and leave the phone at home. If any suspicious movement is detected, the app will sound a siren, take some photos using the camera, and send you a notification. When you find out about what has happened, you can take action straight away—for example, by calling security or the police.
You probably have another mobile phone that you always have with you. You can use this other phone as your Monitor, allowing you to view the video stream from the other phone remotely. You'll see everything the Camera phone can see at that moment, right on your screen. It's very convenient: you'll always know what's happening, wherever you are. You also have the option to activate or deactivate monitoring, or change the app settings—all remotely.
Main functions of Home Eye:

Sometimes does not work because it won't connect to its own server , requiring an email to the developer . Usually Works, but leaves the phone itself unsecure and unlocked. Most of the other similar apps also leave the phone unsecured except for Globio. Does anybody have a workaround for this app?
Works well with my devices. It is a little tricky to get going, if it has a manual,I didnt read it. Depsite not reading any docs, I got it going pretty easy. wish it had a way to store captured images to cloud,in case capture device is stolen.
Doesn't work anymore on neither devices. When I sign in I just get that circle spinning. I uninstalled and installed it again and it still didn't work. I really liked this app too.
This app does not work on S20 cell phone. Lousy. What do I do with my new camera???? When is upgrade available‽????? This is the 2nd trial to get some help from the developer, since I did not get any answer yet. Pls. help me to make this app work on Samsung S20 ultra !!!!! Thank you.
Doesn't work!! Works whilst both devices are connected to same wifi but as soon as I leave my home and use mobile data it stops.
Abysmal. Does not work with S10. Do not get this app. I Repeat do not get this app. There are many other apps out there that serve the same purpose. Wasted 30 minutes of my time. Dont waste yours.
Very good idea, something which is needed in EVERY Home. It is Free and hoping will stay free or a small fee for Maintenance. Great work and App thank you.
Update this app, does not work on newer Android models. Just paid £90 for a camera that I only have now discovered cannot be used
Ide give it a 5 star rating but I couldn't get to settings on it would load then that was it seen all the pictures and that was it may bee I should of tryed unstalling it and restalling it
this is not reliable,when the unit goes to sleep this app is impossible to wake up remotely

Does anybody know how to make this run without leaving the screen lock off and the device unsecure? Change my rating to one star because it stopped working for the second time by not connecting to the network apparently, but still continues to bring ads to the screen before it just does nothing. Will delete. Update. It works again. Update update. Today it again failed to login to the server which sends out the photos and activates the alarm functions. I sent the developer in Finland an email
