Whilst this app does list in the launcher options, it will force you to keep picking another one, so please do not select it as your launcher. This isn't a bug, it is by design
- It is not a launcher replacement, merely a tool that lets you easily clear your defaults.
Home Switch does not work with devices running:
MIUIEMUI (Support is added in Beta)ColorOSFlymeOSAnd FireOS (Amazon Fire)
Or anything else that sets a home launcher without using the standard Android defaults.

Used to work on my amazon firephone. Now stopped working with the recent update. Reverted to an older version which works on firephone. I have Fire OS 4.6.6.1, in my Fire phone (not the Fire tab). The working version of Home switch is 1.0.12. Also Thanks for the Application, Without Home switch, Fire phone would be disaster as its native home screen is so bad.
When I got my fire phone a while back, Home Switch worked great. After an update that included a "feature" to block Fire OS devices, it stopped working and hasn't worked since. As an alternative, Home Switcher / Manager by Twisted Apps works. Message to Stu: The Fire Phone never directly included the Play store. It had to be side loaded along with Google services and the Now Launcher.
Working perfectly till now I'm using Amazon fire phone after latest update it doesn't work.thanks for your kind reply I didn't see you're reply I really appreciate for your reply,in any android work well but in amazon fire phone it's crashing that's all no issues hope you can fix it

No bells and whistles but that's fine! It does what it claims.

On my Sophone i6 plus, the custom settings.app is designed like the iOS preferences.app- So there is no "default app" selection like I have in my Samsung device. I like to use the custom launcher which looks like iOS 8, but I also like to use either arrow launcher or Google Now Launcher. That's as of right now, I switch launchers constantly always looking for better ones, next launcher has been the best for me actually. with this app set on the home screens of every launcher, I can switch instantly!

It is rock solid and always does what it is supposed to do. Nothing more needs to be said.
Recent update broke the fire phone, now I can't use the google launcher anymore.
It worked just fine on my Fire Phone until the added code to check for FireOS and make the app disable itself... Thanks for nothing.
This app was working fine until the most recent update removed Fire OS support. Now I can't change the launcher on my phone. Otherwise, the app is great.
Doesn't work just closes and no error report
i got this for 14.95 dillaes the touch screen would not respond can not find the blttom any thing at bottom of screen to launch other apps i may have to unstall i
You can do it manually from settings, but this application made it more easier to change the launcher than the normal trick... thank you :D
No problems on my fire phone and my nook running cyanogen
Works great on android 10. I have a galaxy S10 Plus running Android 10. This let's me quickly switch between OneUI and NovaLauncher while setting up Nova to match WHT I had on OneUI. I always forget the icon folders I had set up.
