Ever since the website was taken down, my son has not been able to use this app properly!! I pay each time and for months at a time we are either unable to log in or NOTHING will load. I did not want to have to buy my child a tablet device to be able to learn. SO DISGUSTING that a whole computer is not GOOD ENOUGH and that this issue has been reported multiple times since trying to use a phone for it. We have tried it on several different phones and it is horrible on every one of them!
My kid can't play it. Every time she tries to play one of the games it just shows a loading screen and doesn't do anything else. I'll change my rating if/when it gets fixed.
Charged when cancelled subscription I ran the free trial, and added the cancel date to my phone. Cancelled it on that date and have since found $51.58 has been taken from my credit card. Plz give me a refund, sent email via website
Barbie app (only looks good on the outside) Spent a while setting it up, get to the "free app but want you to set up subscription for time trial...blah, blah" (have a specific card with no money just for sign ups, if I like i change to my main account) declined Umm, why is it asking for the amount when a free trial is offered? 3 app thats done this. Instead of sending the same helpline, answer on the main screen...you have a lot of 1 star ratings...need to switch it up
This was amazing, until it wasn't. I started using this to help my oldest with reading. You use to be able to use it on a pc or tablet. It truly helped my oldest. You can't use it on the pc anymore and now it just constantly crashes. It's useless. I'm canceling my $60 dollars a year membership and will try abcmouse again. Seriously I'm sad this was a great program at first.
It constantly freezes and crashes on the reading path. The only way to fix it is to constantly uninstall the app and then adding it back.
Easy for the littles. Great learning system!
This game is so fun and you learn a lot that's why I gave it a five-star rating and this game is really fun because you learn math and reading and science and I love all those subjects
Bought the subscription for the promo they're having to give back to kids. I used this as a trial a while ago and it worked great. Once legged in, it won't even take me to the home screen. It just has a constant loading screen. I've emailed them and haven't heard back yet (about 5 days ago). I've Uninstaller and reinstalled on multiple devices and still the same...just a loading page that never changes. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.
I downloaded a monthly subscription of the app, from December 2019- March 2020, costing £7.49. It was ok the first few weeks, but then it started freezing, constantly lagging, audio will play but activity won't show (just stuck on the homer loading screen).Having to close it and restart. I decided to reinstall and renew on the 12th October 2020. However, this time it is priced at £8.99. Still the same issues. My four years old is getting frustrated. I'll cancel once this month is finished.
DO NOT BUY THIS APP. This company is a total scam. First of all the app content is not great. There are much better learning apps out there. Secondly, the cancellation process is ridiculous. I cancelled during my trial period and confirmed everything and assumed that was the end of it. Then three months later I notice I have been billed monthly despite cancelling. I go back into my account and I see that they have now added a clause saying that after canceling the subscription on their website you still have to go into the desktop (does not work on app) version of Paypal and go into your payments in settings to ALSO cancel there. Otherwise you will be billed despite cancelling. That's crazy. I don't understand how this is legal.
My daughter is excited to use it, its a perfect mix of challenging learning modules and creative art and games so she doesnt get bored with it. We have seen an already huge jump in our daughters ability to write and recognize both upper and lower case letters. She has started reading small words and writing with little assistance at 3 years old. Great!
I can't get it to go past the letter A. We are stuck on the short video about CAKE! my kids have watched it so many times but it won't give them the blue ribbon and let us move on. Id really like to get this fixed so they can keep using this app. We are in the trial period of a 1 month subscription...going to cancel if not promptly resolved:( Updating my review...after reinstalling the app it finally let us move on. My kids love this app. I love the learning parts but not all the songs etc.
After we made our account it just keeps saying loading and switching between landscape mode back and forth over and over until it finally freezes. Doesn't matter how many times I force quit and restart wont get out of that stage I even uninstalled and reinstalled. Such a joke. I don't understand how it's so highly recommended when it doesn't even work!
Several issues with the app. If my child accidentally presses the home button it doesnt save her progress. Doesnt show progress. I dont know how many leevels there are and id like to see their learning outline. Been using it for a while and i dont think they are retaining anything. Lessons are easy for them. My child thinks the lessons are boring.
I am using this for a 1/2 year old. The content is fine, but there are some issues. 1) Exit button is too accessible. 2) Small hands can't hold the screen without touching the edges, which confuses the app and keeps you from selecting answers. 3) Delay between the characters' instructions and letting users push answers. This confuses her and leads her to think her answers are wrong. 4) Some of the sticker and paint activities are silent / don't verbally say what the stickers or colors are.
I love the "My Pathway" aspect and I like the idea of short "steps/stones" it keeps my little one interested as she has a short attention span. However 98% of the time it glitches and doesn't load and crashes. VERY frustrating. Will be cancelling my subscription. If it wasn't for these issues It would be a 5 star no doubt. Maybe in the near future the bugs will he fixed and I will give it another shot. Until then no thank you.
I downloaded this app for my son. He seems to do pretty well with it, however there seems to be a lot of glitches with many different areas the pathway and we have not been through any of the other things yet. While reading stories parts of the words are covered up by the cat character the question at the end of the story the answers are partially cut off. We've had Parts where you have to pick the picture that matches the sound and none of the pictures match the sound. Those are just a few.
We used this app awhile ago and was great. Signed up again and it crashes ALL the time. My kids wont even try it anymore because they are so frustrated. I uninstalled every other single app on their kindle fires to ensure enough memory. And still crashes. My subscription renews at the end of the year and I will be canceling it if the issue isnt resolved.
I am a 3rd grade teacher. I stumbled across this app and use it with my 4 year old daughter. She love the stories, the interaction, and the feeling of success she gets from working through the levels. One thing I love about the app is how it gives directions for CORRECT letter formation. I find that correct letter formation is often "looked over" in her current preschool environment. Thank you!
Haven't been able to use it at all throughout the free trial! gets stuck on some circulating stars over and over ..like it's loading. our after school screen time is limited so always just moved on to something else..because I didn't want to waste all that time waiting...then I miss the cut off by a few hours to cancel subscription - and now I've already paid for another month of nothingness. 😩😠
So far the content is pretty good except for a slingshot of letters to the tower. Its completely bugged. If you launch letters to fast, it will stop talking and stop you from completing the exercise. Even taking time to complete slowly will sometimes still make you redo this. The exercise should be replaced with something else to avoid this frustration in the future. Please test and see for yourself.
My 6yr old and I have been trying to use this app on multiple devices for several days and we are just constantly encountering technically errors with the app. I've done everything the web site and tech support have suggested and nothing has helped. I think there's a lot of potential for this to be a great learning app but it seems to need significant technical repair before it can be helpful. So I do not recommend this app unless they get it fixed.
