I have used this app for classroom for the past 4 years. It was great however each year there is a new struggle. This year I have been now looking for a new line of communication which I am really sad about. I have loved using homeroom but I am really struggling to open the app, post pictures from phone, it is a limited view when you type on the computer, and I and my parents are not receiving notification. So sad to have to switch. Hope things can be fixed!

I use this app for my center, and nobody with a Samsung phone can upload photos. We have to take the time to email them to ourselves, then post from a computer, which is a huge waste of time, when it should only take a quick second from the app. It doesn't matter if we try to upload from the photos app or the Homeroom app itself. It will let you put in the caption, but when you click to upload them, they just disappear.

I love the idea of this app. My students' parents are connected and it's great...if I'm able to spend a ridiculous amount of time uploading one picture at a time. This app just won't let me upload pictures, and I have to upload one at a time on a browser. From my coworkers' experiences, it works great on their iPhone. I gave a Samsung Galaxy. I'm so disappointed because I'd really like this app if it worked better.

Was pretty good while it worked, but after 3 years of using this app, I stopped being able to post pictures about a month ago and haven't heard a peep from my emails to customer service. Not a good experience in the middle of the year. Will be looking for a new platform for next year. Notifications have been wonky, too, but I can deal with that if I could still upload pictures.

Love this app!!!! The availability to see into the child's classroom and see what is happening from day to day. Especially for that first year of school. If the teachers update the app appropriately. And consistently adds information/pictures. Only issue I have is NOT with the app. It's the fact that there are many different apps to each class. I wish there was one app to look at all the apps for different classes.

Still having difficulty uploading my profile picture (I can select it, but it won't save), and when I get an email notification that there are new updates, the app doesn't open, and I have to review all the updates via web. If it weren't for the fact that my kid has a teacher who uses this app often, I wouldn't even bother with it.

This is one negative star! First you can't upload more then 15 pictures at a time - well surprise there's more then 15 children in a class! It would be fine if it worked and you could add another 15. But no, cosider yourself lucky if you can post anything at all. Likely, you will be in the loop of trying to share pics watch it "processing" and counting procerantages, all leading to Nothing. Printing and mailing would be faster way to share images. Certainly easier and more reliable.

Quite often when uploading videos, it only uploads 6 seconds of them. Even with the resolution reduced, you can only upload 1 minute at a time. You can't add captions to photos -- any text appears as a separate comment. When you get a notification that somebody has commented, you can see the comment in the notifications section but it won't take you to the original picture the person commented on in the thread itself. This app desperately needs some updates.

I have been trying to use this app for my nursery students and their families but having no luck at all. I have been trying to upload pictures for the past 2 days and only 2 pictures uploaded. It says uploaded but nobody can see anything other that 2 photos. Seems I am not the only one having trouble with this app.

Geez....im unable to post any pictures/videos with less than 10mb (requirement) in half the classes I've created... I can create videos faster than this app. Hopefully, the team can figure this out and update us...

Just downloaded and the app does not work. I am forced to upload one picture at a time. This works for a handful of photos, but then the app will just start reposting pictures that were previously posted even though new ones are being selected.

We love Homeroom! Homeroom has been very beneficial to my special needs grandson and I thank you for the availability and excellence of this app! Being able to participate in classroom learning activities, notes, messages, pictures and all that is available through Homeroom, while at home, has been awesome! Thank you so much! I highly recommend it! It's perfect!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This app has been terrible in the last few weeks. It won't upload anything and it's frustrating not to hear back from sending a help request. The parent's of my students look forward to having an inside look into their child's day. I wish I could at least finish out the school year using this.

It's 4am & your app is going nuts sendings alerts about posts that are either not there, or were posted months ago. I have all alerts turned off and it's still going off every five seconds. So far I've had 20 notifications. Please fix.

Useful for a snapshot (pardon the pun) of my kid's classroom life. Thankful our Teacher uses it regularly. PRO: Can "like" ("heart") a picture and can save a copy in high or low resolution (great to look back on later when App no longer around or to share pic w/ others). CON: Can only "swipe" within a "batch" of uploaded photos. Once you get to the last photo in the posted batch one must go back out to the home page of the App, scroll down & click into next batch. The app is quite a useful way to chat with others like your class mates. But there are a lot of bugs that need to be fix, like sending notifications when it was sent hour, or days ago. But so far I experienced quite a unique app.

I wish I could message the teacher with this app. It's really frustrating when you can only respond to a post publicly (within the class group). Otherwise it's very handy to use and nice to have all my kids classes messages all on one app!

Great idea, bad app. I select pics, maybe add captions, push upload... sometimes that works fine, then it doesn't. Probably like half the time, nothing happens. I exit the app &try again, nothing. So frustrating, I don't have the time to waste.

Neither this app or the website on desktop is functioning. Got several alerts about new uploads and comments at 4am this morning (even though my alerts are turned off) and these photos do not even exist when I go on the website or via this app. Please fix this bug ASAP

Homeroom constantly glitches on my Moto G. I have to use the browser to be able to upload pictures, as despite showing a completed upload process, they don't get uploaded at all through the app. I reached out for help weeks ago and never heard back.

I love the app overall. Wish you could edit your own comments, if needed. Also wish you could create new albums, with the same class, without having to re-invite members.

Pretty good, but the app could use some work. The icon isn't showing up right in my notifications and I can't link to other social media.

I am new using this app but looks great so far. The only thing is that I would like to upload some extra fun worksheets for children and parents to be able to print them or download. So, it is possible to add a "Print" or "Download" option to this app? Thank you

Very easy to use. Great for staying connected to the classroom. Also a safe environment and good opportunity to start a discussion about online safety with kids.

I have tried to post pics for weeks, and it will not work. It's infuriating with all the end of the year pics I am trying to upload. I will be using class dojo for everything next year.

Annoyed... there is obviously a hard limit to how large of a picture (file size) you can upload via the app. Smaller or less detailed images can be loaded. This is a deal breaker IMO.

Not great. Had to leave last year's class group to get an invite to this year's group. Now I have no access to all those memories any more. I wouldn't use this app at all if my child's teacher would use something else.

Cannot choose a video or photo from a specific files. You will have to go through millions of photo or videos from your phone. Bad design.
