It's ok as long as you are stationary somewhere. But we've had alot of connection issues where you just get a white screen or a black screen and the timer running or it won't let you hang up and the timers running. I'm pretty sure throughout the last two months I've lost a good 35 mins due to bad connections. Or it cuts in and out when your moving around . Freezes up.

This app is almost like a scam. They offer you a service, you add money and they basically steal it from you. The connection issues are horrific. The app will barely allow you to answer the call. When and if it connects the call has so much lag, you never even see a face or hear the person. With in seconds the call drops. I have hit the report bug button still no use. The app just takes my money. I can't even send a video message.

I agree with the previous reviews. This app feels like I'm being scammed. I've put money on the account yet have non of the options I should have. I'm not able to send texts or receive them. Can't click to schedule a visit and can't connect the calls when they come it.

it's damn near a waste of money. the calls barely connect and when they do it's spotty service, regardless of my reception/wifi connection. when I report bugs I never hear back from anyone nor has any of the issues been addressed. Unfortunately this system is the only source of communication I'm able to have with my loved one so I can't just say it's garbage and stop using it, like I'd like to do, so instead maybe leaving a salty review will do me some justice instead.

Wonderful and Very Convenient. Only problem I'm having is not being able to upload media / files. Tried 100 things still doesn't work but will keep trying to figure it out and fix it.

it's messes up sometimes an when I try to answer it won't connect but when it does connect it's so awesome cheaper an a video call is so much better than just hearing them the video seeing them kinda makes it a little easier to cope with ur loved one being away if it would just get the bugs worked out of it an connect as much as it should it won't connect about 35% of the time

Nothing but connection issues. Now I am having an issue where when I go to answer a call its closes the whole app and tells me to clear cache. Did that and STILL can't answer calls. But am able to send video messages with no problem. I've lost so much money with this app due to calls dropping.

Cannot even log in. I registered yesterday. Only able to video chat for two seconds and disconnected. They tried to video call last night multiple times and the app said I had been logged out. Attempted to log in multiple times, received error message -username/pw incorrect. Reset password several times, still did not work. Emailed customer service...have not heard back. Still cannot log in today. I added funds and can't even log in. Extremely frustrating

The idea of thinking video conference or visits was a thing of the future would have been a great idea for future note if the system wasn't lagging so much and even though it lags while connecting it still takes your money! Fix the lag and the connection errors between the app and the facility.

Crashes all of the time, therefore wasting my money for repetitive attempts for inmate to get through to me. I push answer, the app crashes. This is probably the most inconvenient waste of time just to have communication that I've ever dealt with.

Some times it works most of the time the calls are interrupted. I reached out to let them know and their rep said it was pretty.uch on my end and what I could do to fix it. So I tired those things and it still messes up..now it says on the inmate end that I am on a call when I'm not. So frustrating

This app is not working properly. It is wasting money and you can hardly use anything on it. I can't schedule visits, text, or upload videos. The only thing I can do is recieve calls and even they lag no matter how many reports made. Don't waste your money if you don't have the funds to waste.

It use to not give me this problem but for the past few months , it's popping up the accept message every time I open the app. Which causes me to not get the calls and/or able to answer them because I have to accept the terms beforehand. HELP? Please fix this issue.

Connection is good at times. It does have signal issues that causes it to freeze and voice comes in and out which is very frustrating.

I'm thankful to connect to my loved one. BUT the connection could be better overall. I tested my internet/speed and the issues are not on my end. Like I said, thankful to see/talk to my loved one when the app is working properly.

Does not work you miss the calls, then you try to video the person to let them know you're not ignoring them that does not work it stops working u. U call the support team they try to tell u its on your end I have the highest internet out there and I check it with audio out test it's fine so knew it was not on my end... so this is a joke they need to fix this product

I use homeWAV to communicate and talk to my friend who is in Grant County, WA. At first I liked it, but now the quality of the calls are getting worse and worse. The video freezes constantly, audio is crackling and breaking up, and as of recently it's dropping calls- 9 out of 10 times! I've tried sending video messages and pictures from my media, & I'm being charged for doing so but I don't see where they've been uploaded to our conversation, nor does he? Although i'm able to recieve his!?

Initially I had thought I was about to be ripped off because I put in a certain amount of money but found out I couldn't text or communicate in anyway with my son except through one way video messages that I wasn't even sure he was seeing. I thought it was the people behind the ap ripping off vulnerable family members. It turns out it was the detention center inhibiting the communication between inmates and family. The ap promptly refunded my money the moment my son was released from custody.

I had to go to the desktop site to add money this time and the app keeps telling me that this service is unavailable right now. Try again later and it's been a month of the device being unavailable. I haven't been able to speak to my child's father in two months now and I've had money on my account

Oh my Lord this app is awful. First of all, the inmate's voice plays from the small speaker that you're supposed to put your phone up to during a call, not the regular speaker that allows you to hear a person and see their face at the same time. And then most of the time he can't hear me at all! I've tried my Bluetooth headset and 2 different speakers.... 75% of the time he gets no sound on his end. But we still get charged. Video messages i receive are zoomed in like 4x. HATE THIS APP.

The app has to be restarted and or reinstalled frequently. It takes 15-20 seconds to connect (with time running). The camera feature often doesn't work, requiring a phone restart. The video and or audio will freeze up and disconnect the call. And if a text or call comes through my phone, even if I make no effort to acknowledge the interruption, the app will glitch, often causing the call to drop.

steals time during every visit (we've watched the seconds skip), freezes up, sometimes there's no audio or it echoes and sometimes it won't connect at all but still takes minutes away. As expensive as it is to use you'd think it would work better and why steal our time when you're charging us out the wazoo already. oh and I have an excellent phone and WiFi so it's the app.

Absolutely awful. Difficult to navigate. Almost impossible to go through the tutorials. User authentication is something just shy of what would be required to visit the NORAD command center during DEFCON 2. For no apparent reason. Have had very SERIOUS issues. Volume was so low I could not hear during several phone calls. I had to put the phone to my ear to hear anything, and was terminated for not having my face in the.video. Yeah. Terminated before I could get crucial legal information.

Most of the time the app doesn't work. My LO leaves me messages and the last 4 it says video can't be played. 😠😠😠what's the point of having it!!! Most of the time when she calls the sound is horrible...either very loud and distorted or you can't hear. Sometimes you can't see them it's just a white screen. It's soooo aggravating!!!!! PLEASE fix these issues😠😠😠😠

The communication is poor, you can't hold a conversation the system always goes out completely, a lot of static within the system you cannot hear what the other individual is saying need to upgrade the system. I like the ideal of seeing my Love, have to call two or three times just to finish a sentence.
