This app is very basic, compared with another app in same price is ridiculously weak. There is no alert when the robot stuck somewhere, no alert when the dust container is full. I changed the dock place recently, since it's at a new place, doesn't go into some rooms, I have to put into the room to clean them. Another apps have a map from the flat and you can check what is already cleaned, this doesn't have this feature. The hoover is not bad, but the app looks like a student created app.
Great robovac. Picks up more than you'd expect and navigation seems to be getting better as it 'learns' my home. 4 stars because it was a nightmare getting the thing set up. After a lot of hassle, the only way I could get it set up, was to use a friends iPhone. Previously, I was using a samsung galaxy note 10+. In future, I would love to see the ability to map rooms so I could tell the vaccum to go to a certain room and clean just in there. I know this is a feature available on other robovacs.
App works fine - easy to set up. There is a bug where it doesnt let me set the program I want via the app so I have to set the program physically with the vacuum itself. Should be an easy fix hopefully. Overall the app is very smooth, easy to set up and works really well. :)
It used to work. But then I got faster internet and a new router and now it refuses to reconfigure. I get it in the pulsating modus. Skip the CleanerSetup stuff since my cleaner is older. But afterwards it never finds the cleaner and eventually both the app and the cleaner time out. The wifi setting do not differ except a different name and password. I've tried looking but there's no way to factory reset the cleaner as well. I would have never bought it if I knew Cloud was required for these stupid devices.
Good but very basic, can be a good thing as complication can be less user friendly. There's not much in 'settings' which means I can't adjust its internal clock to match UK summertime clock changes so my robovac sets off an hour earlier than its time setting. Or is it HomeWizard's clocks just set wrong? Also I have no control of which program to set in the 'scheduled' cleaning settings. Major problem is I also have no phone number or e-mail supplied to me to contact to report this to & get help!
The app will not allow you to: connect to the cleaner without manually using the wifi settings, connect it to your wifi network or navigate forward or backward using the button at the bottom (so when entering a password it cannot be used). Quite possibly the worst app I've used on the Play Store.
I've been using this app for just over a year without any issues. Now all of a sudden it won't connect to my Robot vac, it keeps telling me to connect to their setup setting on wifi yet nothing like that ever appears in my settings. I'm really beginning to regret ever buying the Princess robot vac thanks to the rubbish app.
Took forever to connect with device. Once it had finally connected, it just stated the cleaner is offline. Tried to delete the device, 'this app doesn't connect to this device Now can't connect again. Brilliant tech!
The app you need to install to use your robot vacuum cleaner. It works. Setting up the cleaner to a WiFi can be 'troubling' but with time can be done. The app needs updating but so does the firmware to the cleaner itself!
Use an IPHONE!! I tried to set up the app and connect it but it just couldn't find the cleaner! I tried for days and almost gave up until I read the reviews on here which said to use an iPhone. I got someone to install the app on their iphone and then it automatically connected to my app! So thanks to everyone who wrote to use an iPhone but this is something that needs sorting out as I had to wait to find an iPhone user to help me as I am android
Today's update is a great improvement. Solved issue with android connection. For 5Ghz WiFi issue you need to disable this on your router and use 2.4Ghz instead. After changing my router channel it worked perfectly.
I purchased a 33900 vacuum and I am unable to connect to WiFi. I have tried multiple times with no luck! I think I will be returning this one
Absolute rubbish. Does not connect to the WiFi and I work as an IT technician! Needs to be sorted ASAP otherwise will be returning.
It's a good app but recently the hoover will ignore Normal and Max program selected on the app and just use the last mode it was in. So if I had my hoover on Max and then tried to tell it to go to Normal mode it will beep and try and then just stay in Max. Weird
Just spent three hours to try and connect to my android phone. Have just seen on your website that he app doesn't work with 5g WiFi. Is this correct? I have 5g WiFi. Does this mean this will never work for me. If so will be returning unless u can fix this.
tried to connect on the 2.4 ghz, doesn't work. call the number listed to try and sort out the issue, but no help. will be returning it tomorrow (23/5/19)
It only works with 2.4ghz Wi-Fi!? Anyone with a Sky hub or similar can't use it. What a waste of time....
Cannot get the app to connect to the robot. Turned off 5ghz, but nothing. When I called up for assistance I was told to just take it back 🙄 16/09/19
Wont work with BT homehub because its 5ghz and the vacuum just shows e42 constantly and it does nothing. Says stuck right wheel but nothing is there. Will be returning it tomorrow for a refund.
Failing to connect, after a year. Difficult to set up properly.
terrible, this is the second Princess we have got the other one lost connection to Wifi now this one won't even connect been trying for 2 days thinking of taking it back no support over weekend only monday to fridays
Easy to use. The app connects directly with the robot by wifi (my phones has android 10).
Works just fine to me, created a 2,4 connection on my modem and its doing what its made for to do :D
Once again the cleaner won't connect to the app. Rubbish!
I love my robot vacuum cleaner. I love staying in bed while it cleans for me at the command of my phone. It is great and has a massive impact on my life.

I bought a Hoover from this company today. It's a decent Hoover and can control from smartphone
I bought my Robovac at the beginning of January and was excited about the fact it had an app. However, even after separating WiFi bands, using this app (v.1.0.5) on my Samsung S8 would not work and the initial handshake would not occur. I had to use an iPhone and the Apple version of the app to setup but now that it has been I can use the Android version with no issues and functionality and options for remote control are pretty good and responsive with a nice interface.
