If you own a Honda, this is the best link for advice about your vehicle! No matter what make or model! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Sometimes randomly malfunctions.
Works fine with my 2018 CRV. I am using Motorola g7 play!
Forget the app, Why do all Honda's leak power steering fluid. Does anybody know?
It does what it should. Actually, pretty awesomely for 2013 apps and technology. What I find interesting is there have been over 10K downloads for less then 3K vehicles produced (about 1000 plug in Accords and 1500 EV Fits). Not sure if all the reviews are from actual owners. Anyway, it's been pretty bulletproof for my plug in Accord but I also understand the limits of cellular communication. Just because you have a signal on your phone does not mean the car has one on it's cellular modem. It's also pretty nice that Honda is paying the bill for the connectivity.
App doesn't work. I install the app and try to log in to my hondalink account when I click log in it doesn't do anything. The only button that does anything is the forgot password button. Just purchased a 2014 plug-in Accord and would very much love to use this app!
It's super basic. Was updated today and still full of bugs. Shows my inside temp at 999°. Charging at 240v and says it will be completed the next day when I know it'll be done in an hour. Doesn't really do anything otherwise tell you battery percentage. Doesn't work on Android N
Display is corrupt on Nexus 5x & Pixel phone. Communication with vehicle is erratic at best. Spent much of last winter working with Honda to address failures on scheduled departure, finally fixed with changes to their infrastructure. Same problem struck this winter. Renders App nearly useless.
Now, after ypdate, I no longer need to re log in to see my vehicle data. That was the only problem I had with this app.
Bugs! It doesn't display correctly on my Nexus 5X. It's still functional, just looks bad and not trustworthy.
As the fleet manager for zipcar in NYC this app has made all the difference ensuring our EV fleet is charged and ready. Like some other comments the response time is slow but overall we have saved numerous customer reservations and preserved a positive customer experience by using this app.
Better response with WiFi. Still on the slow side, considering the status should be a pretty quick data transfer. UI looks better. As someone else mentioned, the vehicle statistics should be accessible...total EV/HV miles, etc.
Recent update allowed me to finally be able to communicate with the vehicle finally in control of its features. Failure command displayed 1 out of ten commandments sent. The ui is very basic, could be alot better.
In a nutshell....its missing tons of features available on Ford and Tesla apps. Where is my vehicle stats...miles driven...kWh used...kWh left in battery? Honda has no excuse not to provide them with the constant 3g in the car. This last update messed up the battery on my droid 4 phone app. I was excited..now I'm wondering how to downgrade
Since they last updated this app last December, I am unable to log into the app. Tapping the Login button doesn't work. Now it is useless to me.
Was ok before update, now not so much
It must have been upgraded because it works very well with my Samsung Droid Charge (cell Phone). My car its parked in a garage two floors down and still communicates correctly with the app. I wish the app would have an ALARM type alert when its disconnected from the wall (this would tell me that some one is stealing my cord charger.) It would also be nice to have a charge now icon on the app, so that whenever you plug-in it starts charging without changing the "charge Schedule. Its a great App and hope it gets better..... Thanks !!!
Battery graphic is not correct... Shows lower charge than actual. IPhone app does not have this issue. If this is Honda's new quality standard, would advise staying away from future Honda vehicles. Contacted Honda phone support and they did not want screenshots or logs..just asked for my username and password...security violation..yikes. Also they did not seem too familiar with how the app or car works....very poor service, Honda.
Piece of crap, can't even get to the register screen because it crashes. (Nexus 4)
"Refresh request failed" - the darn thing will never give me current info. I always get battery status that's several hours to over 24 hours old
About 25% of the time manually updating the stats fails on the first try, but otherwise works well on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 & Nexus 7
90% of the time I can't get an updated response from the vehicle on the status or have my requests for schedule charge go through. I am not sure when or how the device communicates with the car. Does it do it when the car is on? off? when my phone is near? or does the car talk to the internet on its own? where do i need to park my car to get a better linkup? all mysteries, and no FAQ or other tips to help owners. The app is a good idea, and well done, but I find myself frustrated.
This app crashes all the time, and it wouldn't let me register my car.
Works ok after reboot most of the time. Wish it would provide more stats, such as: odometer, and miles per kWh. Why not daily stats?
This is the most useless app I've ever downloaded considering what Honda has to offer and what this actually does is nothing and it only connects to certain cars why cant it connect to civics or other Accords Honda really messed up here they need to fix this quick because all the Android phones are screwed because they sold 40% iPhones that year. This can be fixed easily f Honda wanted to but they don't care once you've bought the car
The new version 3 display is all messed up, not usable any more, wish there is a way to go back to old version.
App just stopped working for no reason. Logged me out and whenever I try to log back in it says "Unable to communicate with vehicle."
