My first delivery - it was late for about 2-3hour but that's okay. :) I am still satisfied. The only thing that I would recommend is, include a PRINTED RECEIPT with the list of items(including the out-of-stock). It would be easier for my parents or recipients to check those items since they do not have access to my email or app. Please make it happen for transparency. :) Overall, well done!
I used the app at Honestbee's habitat physical store today. From the get go, it does not work. The app would not allow me to enter the premise. A staff happened by and scanned us in. Once inside, the wonky app is very difficult and impossible to use. It wont log in and rejected my password. Multiple password resets failed as no messages were received via email. Consequently, I received 8 warning messages from my credit card issuer. The onsite staff were brilliant & helpful though. Kudos to them!
Unusable. I can't use credit cards because it claims I have a duplicate account. I can't use cash because it claims I have a duplicate account. I can't transfer the cart list to someone else to purchase for me. I've never used the app before so I'm not sure where it got these ideas. And actually the app seems fine, it's the service that is flawed.
I like the Backstreet Boys reference on the update section. Made me chuckle. I also enjoyed buying food using your service. Super convenient. That said, the number of restaurants I can purchase from significantly decreased, and while I was informed that this is so that I can discover other places, it does not really help that from 10 or more, my choices had been reduced to 3. I am thinking abt uninstalling because of this, but it was fun while it lasted.
I live in Taiwan and use the app a lot for ordering food. It's a great app and usually deliveries are fast and reasonably priced. Sometimes delivery estimates can be WAY off which isn't a problem by itself except that the app doesnt usually update the time. Also the app would be much improved by letting you know where your delivery was about 2-3 minutes away. Other than that, great app, lots of selection, great alternative to UberEATS.
the service is good. however, you cancel orders immediately if a certain topping is unavailable without even asking the costumer or giving the costumers a call and offer other options. plus, you should have a reward system. like me, I always order food from honestbee every week. most of the time more than once during weekends. I have never received a code or whatsoever. perks like free deliveries for certain points should be given. not to compare to grab, but their point system is beneficial
The apps takes very long to open and often never opens at all. Very frustrating!! This happens even when the apps is removed and reinstalled. There must be something not right. It's not Wi-Fi problem cause all my apps opens very quickly with my Wi-Fi. Please check on the functionality of honestbee app. Thanks.
Visited Habitat twice. Used 2 different Sony Android phones but both were unable to scan the barcode despite repeated attempts during purchase. Staff were extremely helpful but they seem helpless at the same time. This disappointing experience deterred us from making further purchases. Hope that you can fix the app soon. Happy to give a 5 stars after this problem is fixed.
A brilliant service every time but the app has some issues. The main problem is you cannot change the address from the one you first sign up with. We have recently moved and there is no way to update our address. It either says there is an error or saves but then reverts back to the old address.
I have been using this app for few times on same delivery address, and works well before. I've been trying to book a delivery again for my groceries for about a month now, and it keeps on saying that it's not allowed on my area, though I have used it already for few times before. Please fix this, my address is near a tons of grocery stores, I used to have a lot of store options.
This APP does not allow me to use a credit card that has a billing address different from the delivery address. There is only ONE place I can enter an address. And it's not even possible to enter my billing address because it's not in one of the countries they have offered. Something with the APP changed, because I was successful in placing an order once in the past. Now I have new credit card and I cannot place order. I've called my bank, the issue is not with them.
I get it that you are trying to push your food delivery service really hard, but don't be pushing it while I am already in the grocery category doing my shopping. These food delivery discount ads keep popping up, I close them, and it still directs me to your food delivery service page. Really time wasting, annoying and feels buggy than anything else. This will never make me use your food delivery service. Bad strategy. Just stop.
Confusing app especially of you dine at site. Easily mix up order on site and those for take away. I made a mistake selecting take away and there is no option to cancel the order. Had to go through the fuss of getting remote customer service to cancel. Fortunately, able to cancel that order.
This app makes my life easier. An almost perfect app. But they should add more stores, at least in my city. For example, a store like healthy options which caters healthier alternatives to everything. Also, they should step up their parcel delivery service. They don't deliver from Cebu to Manila. Overall, I didn't experience major issues on this app. Job well done to the developers.
Your app... is always... loading... every time... I press... the back button... Nevertheless, the service is good for food deliveries so far. I'll try the grocery delivery some time. Just please: It would be great if you could make the app with minimal to no loading time for every single step.
What has once started as an efficient delivery service has quickly deteriorated into a farce. Originally I rated this as 5 stars as the app was easy to use and the service accompanying it was world class. Now, there is hardly any service as delivery times have greatly missed their mark by more than an hour, an the once responsive customer support is totally nowhere to be found. Avoid!
Very user-friendly application. Even the slightest of details such as this scenario - Insufficient balance in beePay and I would need to top up to pay for items that are already in cart ; Pressing back button on my phone and navigating through the simple UI to top up, returning to the menu with the cart still intact just makes me so satisfied. Thank you application devs!!
my cart shows empty. i should have 9 items. please fix. (only for mobile app, this does not occur when account is opened in browser) edit: my app is now fixed. the support who handled my ticket (Addie Lantin) was very prompt in answering my issues. thanks to the devs as well for handling. :) hope the issue with the browser gets fixed as well :)
Undoubtedly one of the worst shopping apps and services in the market. Unable to enter a valid address. Whoever did the development ought to retire from app development. Moreover, the category and item view is highly buggy. But the worst thing is that the prices are highly misleading. Do not waste your time installing this app.
This is a review of the app, not the goods or delivery service. It's awfully slow, e.g. when scrolling. Worse, it often says, "Hmm, something went wrong. Please try again later." It happens so often that the search function effectively doesn't exist, so you have to scroll through hundreds of randomly ordered items only to find out that they don't have what you want, e.g. a packet of salt.
It takes forever to get a response from customer service (both chat and email). it will help if you have SLA in place. Shoppers also not paying attention on the items and mistakenly got different items. Then you will be billed incorrectly and you can't complain due to bad cs issue.
Overall I like the experience but there are a few minor improvements to be made to provide a better experience: 1. There should be real time gps movements shown in the map on where the rider is. 2. Timestamps should be visible on the order status or updates to give customers an overview of the duration per activity. 3. when contacting customer service if you switch apps the conversation will be lost and u will be routed to a new person.
The grocery section is decent, even if it's not a complete store selection. The delivery is on time and efficient The food deliver section has a lot of mark-up and they have a tendency of cancelling your orders last minute. I'd give this feature not more than two stars, if not for being part of the grocery section
Love this app! It's a lifesaver during times I don't have the luxury of going to restos to personally order food that I'm craving for. Also, I love that they are trying to minimize waste by providing reusable eco bags. They request you to swap your previous Honestbee bag with the new ones they are bringing with your new order, which means they do promote using reusable bags instead of paper or plastic bags. 🖤
Honestbee needs to work on the option to change delivery address. Waiting until an order is placed to save the new address is dumb, because the delivery options are still set to my previous address several miles away from where I moved to. Not gonna bother contacting their helpdesk just to have this corrected as it's faster to uninstall this and get foodpanda or some other similar app.
The honest bee service is fantastic, but if they dont learn some simple UX rules fast (i.e dont put massive whole page popup ads when someone is in the middle of making a payment for groceries, which when you try to close take you off to a food delivery section) then their app is just going to become another annoying local e-commerce app. They're following Grab down a route destined to just irritate their loyal users. Give me an option to turn off these horrible 'shut the door' popups!
The app and the service is really good. Having grocery while at home is very convenient for me and my wife who just gave birth few months ago. However, the app recently removed our area out of their service which is really sad. I hope you can cater more areas as soon as possible. Don't waste your time responding here with a canned response.
Used honest bee about 3-4 times with no issues the 4th time we used the app to have some food delivered we had a missing extra rice that we had ordered with a meal, It was very hard to get a hold of anyone to correct this. I could not find a contact phone number... The online chat service never had any one who answered my queries. The only way in which we could explain the situation was through email. To which i've added to because we ordered the same day for dinner and we were charged a delivery fee when the advertisement on the app stated that deliver was free.... Just a lot of messing around.
Habitat by Honestbee is a great concept. However, since it is pre-empted that technology is at the core of your services, I expect that you uphold reliable connections. As for my experience, what is the point of a great concept when the app is crashing everytime i open it 😭😭 It caused me so much trouble because i had to restart, reinstall etc etc the app and it still didnt work. Then I had to get my friends to download the app as well and go through the registration process... Hope you fix this
