ZERO STARS. The ONLY positive is that the jobs pay a little better than most other motor clubs. Don't matter how fast you open your phone. The job's given to somebody else. Unless it's 50+ miles or 2+ hours away, $50 in tolls to get there, or on a restricted roadway. Their new thing is denying you the job because you were "too slow to reply" even if you submit an ETA immediately. OH AND THE APP LOCKS YOU OUT OF INCOMING JOBS SO IT CAN PESTER YOU TO UPDATE. And good luck reaching phone support.

Concept is there, lack of execution though. They are very unresponsive to feedback regarding the issues they are aware of. If you are lucky enough to find out who your representative is, they will ignore you also. Any general inquiry will be met with a chat/email response eventually and will 9 out of 10 times have nothing to do with your issue. APP is always experiencing some sort of problem, usually in the tracking and these problems will lower your score until you don't get anymore offers.

Works ok, takes multiple times for app to communicate with server when selecting enroute, or finished status updates after selection show in app it was hit but app doesnt change right away after selection. When waiting for system to approve job tine lost goes against eta quote to get there I dont start driving until I know I have job assigned would be nice if customer number was directly pulled up for dialer vs going through server to connect.

Decent company but has it's flaws. They expect lightning fast dispatch response yet have no issue making everyone else wait forever. If you get negative review they won't tell you what it is so no way to fix it. They are dropping prices too low and won't negotiate unless you are literally the only person available. No rate sheet whatsoever. The best thing about them is they are hassle free and payment is done within an hour.

Why have a market rate, when 90% of offers are lower then the market rate. do you know that service trucks still use gas? radius for jobs should not be 30 to 50 miles out period. It should be based off the radius you set in the app. 15 mile radius does not mean send me a offer 50 miles out, honk doesn't pay enroute miles, expects you to drive where ever they send you, back to your base for the low balled price. smh Wowzers! (Example: Jumpstart in Orlando,FL. but your in business in Tampa,FL.)

No loyalty. Jobs offered and then given to someone else when accepted. Seriously! Do not send me a job offer and then make me stare at a screen for 2-3 minutes, waiting to "officially" get a job that says "we are searching for a closer provider in the area" and then award that job to someone else. Just don't send me the job offer at that point. I AM NOT KIDDING my fellow service providers. I wait almost 3 minutes AFTER accepting a job offer, just to be told that it was given to someone else.

This app and company are terrible they want you to go too far for too little money they double dispatched two trucks and then don't want to pay you they always try to pay you less than the original offer they already stopped giving me offers since I called them on it this app is a ripoff for the drivers they charge the customer double of what they're paying drivers

Always tries to underpay, ($27 to travel 50 miles or more for a battery jump? I don't think so!) No one ever answers the phone. Refuses to pay for GOAs. Withholds payments for anything for as long as they can get away with. Provides incorrect location information. The list goes on.... We'd all be better off under Agero. At least they have Consistency.

Alright developers, take notes because right now your application is based off a terrible design. First off, when a job is not awarded, the option to clear the job from the screen should be available to the user. It shouldn't be a time delay. Secondly, the settings should permit the user to change the notification sound, volumes, and allow a user to edit the profile picture. Even on maximum volume, that little horn sound is quiet. Feels underdeveloped in these aspects. 2* PLEASE FIX THIS APP.

This is only a dispatching service that expects the provider of the service to get paid less than them they charge for instance 85 for jump start but want to pay the provider doing the service $30 or less to be in a qualifying Price When a provider obviously spends more overhead per call then they do. Like the expensive insurances, gas to get there, Vehicle maintenance and their time. Not to mention a fuel delivery where you have to pay for that gas too. They are scam artists

This app sucks. Have full bars for signal app shows its not tracking me so it wont accept or update any entries. Slow clunky POS. There is also the issue of logging in when you come on duty doesnt matter where you touch in the box to enter password or phone number it doesn't recognize it. You have to touch outside the box randomly to finally give you a cursor and no i dont have a cracked screen which is usually the culprit to accurately touch screen and activate a cursor. resource hog. 0 stars

With the update the app no longer makes audible alerts on android. Results in many, many missed bids. Even worse, even while literally holding your phone in your hand and clicking 'bid now' within less than a half a second of receiving a silent alert (seriously) and getting 'job not awarded' because it's already gone is beyond infuriating. I've been a partner since 2017. Really not very happy with the app in the current form.

App is getting better... With all the changes they are making to the app in effort to get providers to quit calling for assistance, would be really great if they would give us the ability to email job details to ourselves so it can go to our dispatch center instead of a text message.

Edited for new version. Much better. Just need to tell your developers to check vehicle type from that vehicle type setting page to filter jobs so you don't send tow and winch jobs to smaller vehicles that aren't equipped for it. It can get ridiculously frustrating and distracting to constantly be checking notifications that aren't even something you can bid on. Also need to cover fuel costs on fuel deliveries. I like the new +time options. Repair those few things and you'll get 5 stars. Better.

Honk has come a long way. The app is a little annoying, especially the snapshot feature, pay was terrible when I first downloaded in 2018, but after all the changes, the pay is better than most motorclubs, mileage is always included, and Honk offered me more jobs than any other motorclub (I was just a small fry, only did roadside) GPS based offers are the best, should be industry standard. I would definitely recommend this app if you're starting out.

It gets the job done, but the second it starts asking for a status update, even if I have already arrived at the pickup location, it glitches out and quits working no matter what button I press. Everything else functions normally, but status update does not work, please either fix it or get rid of it.

The app seems to progressively get better over time. Most of the bugs have been resolved. I'm not happy that they made it nearly impossible to call customer service to resolve an immediate issue rather than using a web site. I'd also love it if there was a way to silence the honking notification using a volume button or something rather than having to pull out my phone, unlock the screen and cancel the notification. Sometimes opening the app doesn't even stop the honking.

Most deceitful company I have dealt with in a long time. Phone calls and emails go ignored. Company claims you accepted a take it now rate instead of your prior agreed rate but nowhere in the ap does it show anything about a take it now rate when being offered a job. Expect to be screwed over if you deal with this company.

Waste of time. All the complaints I see in the comments are true. I have been on the app for about 2 months and haven't gotten 10 calls. And like every else said, the calls that I accept get awarded to someone else and the pay is too low for most of the calls I accept.

The app doesn't always send push notifications when a job is available. Update: the app NEVER sends push notifications. I'll check it every so often and it'll show I missed 4 jobs. But it has no problem whatsoever notifying me of missing $400 dollars in revenue. It's better to not be a contracted provider and get my own rates at this point.

App does not alert me. Get an occasional automated call and after I answer all the questions it asks, job is always gone to another provider. Update 9/27/21: App still useless. Settings for high alert enabled and I have deleted and reinstalled a few times. No change. Use to be decent years ago but now worthless. I get a telephonic automated call but once I go to the app, the job is gone. Would give zero stars if I could since the App is completely non functional. Support nonexistent.

Never alerts you about jobs. I'm constantly opening up the app to see all the jobs I wasn't awarded and never alerted about. When I do get alerted I rush through the accept terms just to have the job awarded to someone else. In the last two weeks I haven't been able to get a single job through this app regardless of checking and refreshing it every 10 minutes. Seriously, what's the point

Since the last update every time my app goes off and i open it the job has already been accepted by someone else. How are they getting the notifications that much faster. I have literally been holding my phone when it went off and answered it before the first honk sound was done. The app has been getting worse with every update.

This whole experience with this app is total BS . You have not one to call to get any information or to clear up any issues. You need to clear any issues in real time when trying to conduct any business. This app is not for a working business

Never sends jobs had the app for 2 years and received only 3 calls please don't bother using this app services and waste your time

haven't been able to rely on calls for over a month. chatted on line but never resolved just says our account is working. however, it is not. we receive test messages but no calls appear. we got one this morning via phone and text message. still unable to correct after resubmitting all numbers associated with account.

Honk Inc. always been fantastic to run calls for. Unfortunately, since I relocated and changed names I have not been dispatched. I run the app and no calls come through. I hope this changes soon as times are tough! The dispatch and processing the calls are super quick and easy. I enjoy running Honk calls and providing service to others in need. Thanks Honk! Keith F. when you apply for a job it takes forever to accept you or decline you. keeps losing connection so you miss out on jobs. since the update it only offer a job but doesnt give you details but states it's in your area. Per their app I'm 17 miles from vehicle. but in reality I'm 43 miles away not including toll roads and charges. Most of the time your talking to call center in Idia and the receiver has no experience so trying to explain an extra charge or something is like banging your head.

Lately since last update seems like the app is not messing up. I've been sent like 2 screenshots saying we know your busy and about here's summary of lost revenue I'm like I've never gotten a message at all ! In fact, i've been withbmy buddy sometimes AT the same location and his phone will go off and not mine BOTH have location on at all times . Shaking my head. I hope this gets resolved, I've spoken to a guy named Leonard who keeps sending me to their website to watch videos NOT helping

App is sorry. Older version used to work much better. App doesn't even honk. Usually I get an automated call (which I rarely get) of a job offer. When I go to the app to see details, job is usually gone to another provider. Use to be a decent app but it's pretty useless now. Been a partner since 2016.a Have done 1 or 2 jobs for them all year. Definitely no longer dependable.
