Works well for adding receipts, etc. However, when I installed the new app and my points and rewards were transferred, the rewards were all screwed up. I had 5 different $10 off rewards with various expiration dates and when they were transferred, all of the expiration dates were changed to one month after the transfer date, so needless to say, I didn't get to use them all before they expired.
You can only scan 1 receipt /day. I accumulate receipts in my wallet & record them in bulk. I may have 2 or 3 from Hooters in the stack, but can't scan them all that day. And what's with rewards expiring in 30 days (or sometimes less)? You used to have a year to use them. Rewards also seem to trajectory their sweet time showing up in the app. All in all, I'd say it's a step BACKWARDS from the previous version.
The app does not properly calculate the tip when you select the percentage. The math is just wrong. The user isn't shown what the sales tax is until after you've paid. Because of these two things, if you're not paying attention your final bill will be several dollars more than you may be expecting. Fixing this will make the app experience much better.
The app needs to repair the glitch of restarting whenever you leave it, even if you have an order going. It, also, doesn't allow entry of promo codes in certain regions (or. New Orleans) but in Dallas, it has no other hang up and works seamlessly, almost.
This app is ridiculous. It may be great for newcomers who want to order food to go but for a regular like me, I'm getting screwed. Many of my points are gone and now I have scanned my second receipt that showed 0 points for spending almost $60 in this place telling me it doesn't qualify. We are the people keeping this place afloat and get screwed in the process? Come on!!!
The previous update/merge was a disaster. The app was not ready and they pushed it out. Many posted negative reviews, including myself. The update this morning work appropriately. however, the merge also took away most of my points and downgraded me from orange level to gold (I have been orange level for 5-6 years now and accumulated hundred of thousands of points). I used that to brag about being a super regular. now that's all gone. What's a major disappointment.
It crashes often. Here I am at Hooters getting ready for the wildcard game. I have a free app. And again I cannot use it and once I purchase food I cannot get points for my visit. "Oops error loading". "We're trying to find your receipt, try again later." Incredibly unreliable and awful.
This app is worthless. I downloaded it and placed an order for curbside. Waited 30 minutes for it went in. They acted like they never got the order, but then found it. 20 minutes later, (50 min total) got my wings. This is not necessarily the app's fault, but when I went to help in the app to leave restaurant feedback, I submited feedback 3 times, each time having the form reset after submitting telling me something was wrong with a required field. Skip the app and call the restaurant instead.
I had a notification for $10 off of a $30 order, but when I clicked on the notification, there was no code in my inbox. Also, the notification would not expand so I could get the full code (It started with TEN). This has happened to me a couple times now. Not cool.
the old app was great. the new app is horrible. on my old app, I was one visit away from getting a $10 off reward. installed the new app and points were migrated but not the visits. scanned my receipt which was over $40 and got no points. have sent 2 email to the company through the app but no response
Downloaded the app, then tried to open it. It became stuck, trying to open for an indefinite amount of time. I tried uninstalling, then reinstalling. Same thing. I finally gave up. This app sucks and will not work!
Web order prices are more expensive then walking into the restauraunt. Rip off. Charges 2$ more for 10 wings for example. Its supposed to be 11.99 for 10 wings in the restaurant in missouri, even if you walk in and order carryout. You people are charging 13.99 on the app and website. This could almost be considered scamming people.
The app works ... But whenever I get a notification about a menu special and I open the app . There is nothing special or anything that matches the info in the notification. It's called "Fake Notification"
When you send Notifications, they should be archived in the In Box of the app. Incredibly easy to navigate, and convenient to have perks and orders in the same app.
None of the locations near me are available. Closest location available is over 30 miles. I'm not driving that far to save a percentage off the bill. Deleted app.
I tried to order thru the app and since my order was over $49.99, I needed to prepay, BUT it wouldn't give me the option to do that!!!!! So I decided to split my order and did two orders, just to pay at the store. Food was great so I will give them a 5 star for that, but the 1 star for the app.
I downloaded it and signed in through facebook out of habit, but then remembered my facebook is an old email I have a hard time accessing now so I logged of the app and then proceeded to sign up as a new customer. It would not allow me to do this, saying only one user per device. So now I am not able to use the app. I was looking for FAQ and information about the app. It proceeded to prompted me to log in to my PayPal and send money to them. How weird is that?! Don't download this app.
App is alright but the menu is never fully there so when I take the teens w me to hooter on game night they can never see what they want to order we have to guess and then ask someone. Needs better options as well as where u may order while ur in the restaurant & u want something else. W covid they have no menus inside so everything is done on the app. So why can't u order from ur table at the restaurant?
The app looks fantastic however I can only give 1 star since the Hooters in our town, Yuma AZ, does not allow us to use the app. It took a little while to conclude that was the problem. It is disappointing especially during the current pandemic.
downloaded app last night to use Groupon that required it. It would not let me actually select my menu item. Would keep going to a permission message asking me to grant permission to Olo service provider . Would either get stuck there, or take me back to login screen after I was already logged in. Tried 7 or 8 times.. gave up.
Worst service ever! The store clearly had no system to manage the timing of online, grubhub, and phone in orders! I waited nearly 45 minutes for my order! I would feel sorry for the clueless and over whelmed staff, but they were rude and unapologetic. Unless stores have a system to properly que in online orders, this app is useless
There is an issue with the App. It gives an odd error so can't login. "Oops gender is not included in the list". That doesn't even make sense. There isn't a field for gender anyway.
The app works fine now that its migrated over from old one. It's just the new rules hooters has made about the reward program. Like u have spend over a certain amount to be considered as "visit" and you only get 30 days to use up reward were use to be a year. Lastly what do the points really even do? Once maxed out you should be allowed to use points towards hooter gift cards or merchandise.
Went to two different Hooters and after receiving my receipt I tried to scan my barcode for my reward points and it always says barcode was already scanned. But I tried to scan a different barcode from a lottery ticket and it says the same thing. I was thinking maybe the waitress was scanning it for points but all along it was a app issue.
I just got a new phone and it wouldn't let me log into my account. It acts like it will. I put in my email address, name, password and when I hit submit it says my email is already in use. To get around this i made up a fake email for a new account then once I got past all the new stuff I logged out and then logged in to my actual account. Now it has a bad script that won't let you can a barcode or manually input it. Is cousin Charlie running the app or do you actually pay a professional?
I love this app! It is super easy to redeem receipts, leave a review of for my Hooters Girl, and updates my points almost immediately. It is well organized and very user friendly. Much better than most other restaurant apps that I use.
I am unable to place an order through the app. It tells me to contact the restaurant. It doesn't matter if I try to pay thru the app or thru the restaurant it doesn't allow me to order thru it.
Decent app. They should give you and option to leave a comment when you order on the app. For example I like my wings tossed with extra sauce. If I place an order on the app I have to call right after to give that instruction.
Zero stars. It doesn't give you free app for signing up. It doesn't count your online order towards reward points. App is as empty headed as the chicks they got working there.
New App was needed a long time ago. The old app crashed every time I tried to use it (droid user - didn't crash on IOS platform). Good news is that it no longer crashes. Bad news is that as of today you cannot enter your receipts manually or scanned. It shows 0 for the point total. It also does not show credit for store visits. I emailed support and of course no reponse. As a regular, I am baffled at the incompetency with regards to this app. Don't roll it out if it's not ready!
