Developers have abandoned the app with no sign off effort in updating it with much needed features. The companies twitter account is full of banal PR rubbish. Not much good promoting mobile development if you don't put your money where your mouth is. Should the app ever receive an update, this review could be erased and swapped for praise. I'll not hold my breath in waiting though. 😠
Absolutely no settings. It's an alright app it you're looking for the bare bones of Twitter.
Nice, simple design to get the app started. Nothing breathtaking about the look or functions(there are no settings/customization at this point). Pretty smooth operation and huge, full pictures in the timeline are a plus. Negatives: It takes 3 clicks to open a link. There's no pull to refresh. No background updates or notifications. Will there be updates?
Very very nice. Except lacking of important features. Like notification, custom ringtone if you must with update interval up to 1 min. Quote with reply. Able to see your own tweet in your profile. Integrated browser. Able to see who retweeted you. And live view. Then it'll the best!
Easily the most beautiful Twitter app and runs flawless, but very limited with no setup at all, please just add some features and the app will spread fast with such quality.
There is nothing wrong with this app, but it doesn't have access to lists, and that's a deal breaker for me.
If u could add a Tweet Marker (Remember my TL Position) and possibly a Holo Theme, notification settings, and Picture enlargement
The app looks and feels great, but looks more of a beta with limited features than a finished product. Particularly annoying are the very long fetch times. Hope the developers did not abandon this project.
Love the design but not enough basic Twitter function yet included in this app, Would like to also see people's replies on my tweets
Two things needed: smoothness optimisations (slightly juddery on my Nexus 4) and an ability to see conversations, which is a pretty massive omission.
If the developers have abandoned HOOTIE maybe posting a notice here would help the rest of know where we stand. Personally I think it would be close to TRAGIC if such a promising beginning was deserted....
Nice design. I slightly love this application but some functions such as save the image, retweet in quoting style, pull down to refresh etc. I think if you add those functions, I won't hesitate to download your app and put it into my fave.
One of the best looking Twitter apps on Android but seriously missing features and considering it hasn't been updated in a while. Looks like we won't be getting them.
Oh my goodness don't ever change this app! This is really amazing and if there was a pro version I would definitely purchase!

i love the idea of this app, i absolutely adore its simplicity, but i do wish there were at least SOME customization settings. i hope this project has not been abandoned because i do like it a lot.
Probably looks lovely on a tablet but it's way too large on a 4.3" screen

This app is beautiful! Awesome design, especially on tablets. However it needs more features, at least: conversations, clickable links, notifications. This will be perfect.
It's a cute design. Where r the Settings/Notifications/Customization thing? There is no settngs to customize ur twitter page. WTH? Uninstalling.
Best twitter client for android. Keep it up and keep it free.

Beautiful application, but just a tad behind in features. Overall look pretty much makes up for what it's lacking, but still... Would greatly like to have it start up from where I left off on my timeline, and also the ability to view photos in fullscreen by tapping the picture. Other than that, this is a great client that's coming along! Looking forward to future updates!
