Hoover App

App seems OK to me, but not that useful. It connected to my React model OK and was able to learn its model and serial numbers. That provided the one benefit of the app that I used - registering the vacuum without crawling around looking for the serial number. Aside from that, it seems useless to me. It did have a section about customizing the Floor Sense feature, but I have no need to use it because Floor Sense works fine as is. Seems like the app is just a tool to encourage registation.

App is lacking useful function like being able to shut off the brush over a rug on a hard floor so it doesn't get sucked into the beater bar of the vacuum. The app also lacks function in the fact that all tutorials linked to YouTube are private and not available for public viewing in the app.

Look, this app does two things: allow to register your vacuum easily (one time) and then "customize" the REACT's Floor Sense... which means setting the brush roll on or off for bare floors. That's it. For doing those two things, it works fine. But. Why didn't Hoover just put a stupid switch on the vacuum to control the Floor Sense brushroll? The app seems totally unnecessary. Why, Hoover? 🤷‍♂️

The app is okay. It works when it wants to. If it doesn't connect turn the power on the bottom off and on with app running. Seems to work for me.

I have had this app for over year. Has to be one of the worse apps I have ever dealt with. It will not keep my maps takes forever to load up if it loads at all. Love my vacuum but this app is worse.

App keeps crashing randomly. It is missing functionality. It should have an option to contact customer service, also should have an option to update firmware on REACT over Bluetooth.

"Yeah, when you register your product through the app it rarely works." (Hoover customer service representative) Thanks Hoover for doing a bang up job being 100% unhelpful and unreliable. Bought a $180 vacuum under a year ago and they already don't sell replacement parts. Nor does their customer service department care. Never again.

stopped connecting even when in close proximity. app worked until august update. will try powering off and on robot. However....if robot stalled (carpet) or i manually stopped it...it forgot the schedule and i have to go into app and click schedule to reset.

This is perhaps the worst "smart" product I ever had the displeasure of setting up. The setup process is clunky and unintuitive.

I actually have no prob using this app! My settings automatically changed while I was vacuuming both my carpeted floors & my hard wood floors! The auction is AMAZING! IT'S SO POWERFUL! My best investment yet!! I nicknamed my vacuum "holy grail!" 😁

This app does nothing. It supposedly connects with your vacuum but provides no diagnosis or explanation of errora on the vacuum. Nope. Vacuum cleaner is subpar and now broken. Stay away from this app and brand of vacuums.

Every time I tried to do maintenance with the app it would shut down. Terrible app

Doesn't always connect to Quest 700. Scans for it but doesn't find it.

pretty neat i can adjust setting on my vacuum with an app.

Will not let you set carpet pile hight as advertised. React vacuum will not let you vacuum high pile carpet because it cannot be set. Junk app

DO NOT BUY! IF YOU DID RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY! HOOVER IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT WILL NOT ADDRESS SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEY FLAT OUT JUST STEAL YOUR MONEY AND STICK YOU WITH JUNK.
