Hop - Email Messenger

Looks nice at first but not practical at all for emails. It mixes threads in their conversational emails which makes things very confusing. If I wanted instant messaging then I would use instant messaging and not emails. Both are useful and serve different purposes. By mixing the two it just creates a mess.

UPDATE: After speaking with the Spike team and showing them different examples, they did agree that it was a bug. The responsiveness and professionalism was a great experience. The bug does unfortunately still exist in certain circumstances and they are working on it. Beautiful, easy to read...but you can't copy and paste specific sections of messages from the phone. I received a travel email with a telephone number I needed to call and couldn't copy and paste the number. That's a big miss!

Great app. The best in reducing clutter. There is still some room for improvement. There are times, for example, when it groups emails it does not take you to the most recent email. Instead you have to scroll down to find the most recent email. Maybe the developer could include an option where the most recent email comes up first so user have the flexibility to choose the option that works best for them. Love the app still.

Loved the idea but upon downloading the whole user experience and navigation was confusing and I was getting lost. I was expecting a list of contacts that I could click on and see all their emails, text messages and attachments? Maybe I got the wrong message of what this app could do but it was easier just to go back to the old skool way of doing things!

New user. I'm putting 5 stars. Still getting used to it. Suggestion On previous email app, spark,the emails were split in 3: Personal Notifications Newsletter I don't know what the filter was based on, but it was pretty accurate. I like the chat style. 1st issue. When I share pictures through spike, I can select contacts. Then, when I click next to enter the subject and message, I can't see where I'm typing. The bixes for subject and msg are not there/visible.

Seemed like a nice alternative to outlook, handling multiple emails. But after a month or so keep wanting me to subscribe and pay for each email. Wasn't gonna pay $12 a month, when outlook is free! Updated: Lol now outlook has annoying ads and you're offering a free sub. I may just try Spike out again!

The app is really good, I have some problems, the swipe gestures on the app can be annoying at times, they are good nonetheless, can you fix the problem with images or like add the ability rescale the chat with gesture, because whenever I scroll to the right of an image I can't scroll towards the left without exiting the chat, and the images just open up Huge. Also the dark mode only activates when I close the app and relaunch it, some other little issues I've encountered, but so far I love it

Hey Spike. Can we please have the feature where all my email address can synced across all my devices and I login to the Spike app on a new phone or a different OS. That is one of the features I truly want and need. Please make it available in the next update. Thanks I am a paying customer and would like that feature in the app.

Great app, desktop app is almost flawless. But the swipe action to archive is choppy and not as intuitive as some other email clients for mobile. Would like it to be smoother, that's it : )

Very helpful app which is changing and revolutionizing traditional Emailing system. One small suggestion, which will be even more helpful is deleting emails right from the notification panel. There a lot of emails which are not really need and user want to delete it, so having an option to delete email at the notification panel will takes the user experience to next level

Enjoying it so far. I love being able to see my email in the notification panel loke text messages. But there seems to ve a bug, once I tap "mark as read", it closes the notification panel. Makes it annoying to read multiple emails from the panel and take decisions on them.

Really like the app and use it for 3 email accounts.... BUT am unable to select and copy one part of the email text, only the entire email text. This is a major flaw that needs to be fixed. Also, app does not connect with contacts, so you have to manually go copy the email address from your contact and then paste it into the To field. Really? Using latest version of app.

I've been using Spike for a few months, initially as a Web app where I can get all my email in one place. Over time, and using the excellent Android app, I've rethought emails and conversations, and become more comfortable messaging and getting to the point quickly.

Great app for managing emails. Chat like view and emails are grouped by the people involved which is super convenient and clean. You can view all your priority emails in one place and get notifications for those emails. Makes filtering out the important stuff easy. The customer support is great too.

This is an amazing email app you can do a lot more than just check email like your to-do list your tasks and many others. I had a need to contact their customer support team on several occasions for understanding certain things about the app and I'm pleased to announce is there a customer support team is extremely good very responsive and willing to work with anyone on their application. I would highly recommend taking a very close look at this program you'll be glad you did.

Sometimes some processes are redesigned for better, and this is clearly the case of this application. The app is making easier to me too organize and virtualize me e-mails, not to say the very good features. I'm really enjoying it!

Awesome little app. Has all the bells and whistles. Runs smoothly and great for devices with minimal RAM. Just waiting on a refresh button although haven't had any issues receiving emails efficiently. Definitely recommend 😊

This app is great. It makes it so much easier to manage my work inbox. It's so easy to unsubscribe and mass delete junk emails. Also having a to-do list built into your inbox is something I never thought I needed.

I love the application, I use it on mobile and desktop, however with mobile I can't copy select text within emails, and editing any is a huge pain. The app keeps scrolling on its own and rearranging the text in undesired ways.

I really like(d) the app. def the best mail app around- except for one new rule... today i changed the psswrd on 1 of my 3 accts and am notified that i can't link more than 2 without mnthly payment. im unsure when this changed but it wasnt the case when i registered ≈6months ago. i have literally never written a review for anything, but this really upset me. i can only hope they revert this change. but today ill b switching to the best available free app, as im sure many other users will be too

Amazing app. I love the idea of "chatting" through emails. Innovative and convenient if you are looking to quickly reply to certain emails. You can easily add emojis should you wish. I know I find that super useful.

I love the app. My only request for improvement is the ability to sort by read/unread for instance, and to select all emails instead of just as per filter (day, week, month)

Its okay but slow to load. More importantly the copy text feature is missing. I don't want to copy the entire email when I mostly need to copy a text from it. Please implement this.

Its great app. Very innovative idea. But one problem, not well with dark theme. And even if I choose light theme, its taking the system theme. And that's create difficulty for me.

Clutter-free, ad-free super fun UI for using mail, notes, calendar seamlessly at one place. I will never go back to the traditional view of Gmail. Thanks to the whole SPIKE TEAM 💫, Kudos for making this happen.
