Hopster TV and Learning Games

My 3.5year old loves this app. It's very educational with a variety of different games, videos and music and drawing features. It's helped her develop her number and letter recognition, problem solving skills and creativity. She loves showing me what's she's doing and what she has learnt. Much better than youtube videos and gives me some guilt free time to myself knowing she's learning and having fun. She also likes sharing the games with her friends and they love taking it in turns.

I pay for this app monthly, and like the app itself. However, it only works about 40% of the time. It usually gets stuck on the loading screen and I've tried everything to remedy the problem on my end, with no luck. Given that my autistic child loves this app, this is rather problematic as it sets off meltdowns. I've been a long time customer, but I'm canceling and taking my business elsewhere. You should too.

Not a good app in my experience, I signed up for the free trial & it seemed good so I allowed it to run on & paid the years subscription. I have not been able to open it since. It just stays stuck on the loading screen. I've requested a refund & will unsubscribe, such a pity as it seemed like a nice app.

Looks like a good app but why do you need payment details for a free trial? I'd like to try the 7 day free trial without the hassle of giving my payment details, before deciding to subscribe or not. Feels problematic to me I.e. cancelling subscriptions is rarely straight forward. Also £4.99 seems a bit much per month for what appears to be a TV subscription, I'm now left wondering if the educational games are any good as I don't feel comfortable signing up without trialling the app first.

Too much crashing issue and the content is less as per subscription charges. Also they gave mentioned that after there is a 7days free trial and if you cancel it before that then whole money would be refunded, which I not happening as there is no option coming to cancel only. Even I dropped emails as there is no reply. I want my refund

My 3 year old loves it. Seriously. We make food recipes she sees on here, and she knows her numbers and colors very well. It's been extremely helpful in helping her and the 7.99/mo is completely worth it! It's ONLY 7.99 and between the stories, videos, and games they could totally charge more. Great app. Amazing.

I re-subscribed about 5 days ago and I just found out today that my son has not been able to play on his device this entire time. Even though it said it could be used on multiple devices. I downloaded on my phone, the app was signed in on his device and each time it says "oh no, your subscription isn't active". More than frustrated with this app as I have reached out to the help desk/email multiple times and have not once had success in solving any issues.

The app is OK, I think my daughter gets more out of it than I think she does as it's the app she uses the most out of about 15 others she has on her tablet. The books do not display properly on her tablet so she can only have them in 'read to me' mode. Luckily they display fine on my phone for when she wants me to read them to her. The shows are good and there are a load of new games which is good. My daughter particularly likes the way her art is displayed on the washing line on the main menu.

My kids have had this app for 3 years now and love it.. we have the full version and it's well worth the money. The educational games, TV shows and interactive content are great and my girls minds are constantly growing with the content which is also update frequently. Definitely recommend the full version..

Been charged 3 times this month for an app that is unusable. Three times i was charged for july!!!!!! Unplayable. Paying for something that wont load. My child loved this app. I thought there wasnt enough to it to be pay8ng for it... got updated and added new games... left app unplayable. App wont load, when it does, nothing within it loads. Waste of money

Decided to give this app a go during lock down to engage my 3year old with activities. This app has been worth every peny, his phonics are coming along great and even starting to trace letter/sounds. Huge variety of activities, the monthly usage report is a great touch as well! Overall I think this app is great and I am able use on multiple devices, by having log in details not tied to one device. Also support team really helpful when I has a tech problem (even though it was user error)!

I loved hopster, but every time I try to put it on my sons tablet or phone, it will not connect the purchased pieces. It says theres an error. So I cancel the subscription and try again but NOPE. It still doesnt work. Of course, there is never any help with hopsters support... really hope they figure out their issues because this was my childs favorite app..

subscription process is a headache. I was charged for the subscription and was never able to gain access. I sent emails to the developer for assistance on 2-3 occassions and was given thte same instructions that did not work. This app is a rip off. I want my money back

We've loved this app for a long time, but the newest update has been really unsuccessful. None of the new games work. They open to a blank screen and wont load. My son is so frustrated that we're considering cancelling our subscription.

The worst! Signed up for the trial to see if my son likes it and the phone app would not sync with the firestick app although I signed in with the same info. Apps are slow and glitchy. No search function so you have to scroll through everything.

Not a good app. downloaded it for my grandson and he could only use a few things on the rest did not work, I have been trying for days to cancel the subscription and have not been able to, now they have charged my card still can't use it and still can't cancel it!! very frustration app to use or deal with.

My 3 year old daughter loves this, she has developed alot of knowledge within a week, her speech is increasing well, she's pronouncing words very well, she knows all her shapes, alphabet and numbers and she's improving well with her writing. I 100% recommend this to any parent who wants to stimulate and improve their child's learning :)

My kids aged 7 & 2 both love this app, it has the variability to keep them entertained for hours and they share it nicely while watching shows, then have turns with the games and creativity apps. Well worth the monthly subscription!! Keep up the good work Hopster

Really great app. My 4 year old loves all the features especially the different themes and programmes available. It's a shame Fireman Sam is not the original - the Welsh accent was part of the charm of the show.

absolutely awful app, I've been trying to cancel for 4 months now and nobody seems to be able to help. I've contacted Hopster on many occasions only to be fobbed off and charged month after month. Contacting Google has been impossible. For the sake of your mental health, stay well away from downloading app. Hopster you should be ashamed. **update** I've been asked by Hopster to update. My subscription has now been successfully cancelled. Shouldn't have taken a negative review for this to happen!

Absolutely fantastic app the variety of content is well worth £5 a month . My only criticism would be if there could be a lock screen function it would be perfect .

Only had installed for less than a week and freezes constantly and now won't even load. Not good for a small child to understand why they can't use the app. Uninstalling. Following our reply we have reinstalled and seems to be working

Do not download this app if you ever want to cancel it!!!! Never worked in the first place and have been paying 4.99 every month for a year and still unable to cancel, as all the links that are available to cancel the app, dont work!!! So upset!!!

Great video collection. My son loves them. Really awesome educational videos as well. We haven't gotten around to the other features yet. Some nice books we already discovered. The books didn't always fit our screen though. Glad to have that app. Thumbs up for the makers.

I signed up for a free trial via EE many months ago and forgot about it and never used it. Hopster has confirmed my subscription ran out last year but EE are now taking my money. EE said this is not the case and referred me to the regulators. Hopster should know how the billing process works? Currently paying for something I can't even cancel as Hopster says it is cancelled! Just be careful.

This is by far the best app for toddlers both my grandsons adore this app lots to do great fun and easy for them to use we particular love the hopster show growing the seeds and the frog counting game followed by the shape matching monsters game.
