When it works it's fine but does NOT always work with my mobile data and gets confused when my phone switches from WiFi networks to data and has Locked me out several times....no one has WiFi when catching the bus and some buses don't even have WiFi so I am so confused on what the issue is. Support has been nice enough to refund when I've missed the bus from not being able to get app working but it's really becoming an issue. 2 stars until that's fixed.
I'm new to this app and it was confusing at first bc I was trying to find where I put in my destination then purchase but it wasn't like that you just buy the ticket then activate it when the bus arrives. Using this app instead of cash is gonna make it a lot easier bc I never carry cash on me so I would recommend this app to anyone who's taking a bus. It's definitely a lot better then paying $20 for uber and only $2 for this like wow.
Overall great, but I just had an issue with a one ride pass that I just activated. It said that it was expired and the year on the pass was 1969. I didn't want to keep the bus waiting, so I activated another pass. When I did that, it said two passes were activated and the date on the "expired" one changed to 2019.
Just signed up and created an account. OK, mea culpa... I didn't read every word of the instructions. There's a button labeled "activate". I thought that was for activating my new account. Wrong! Once I clicked on it, I had 60 minutes to board a ferry boat. I had bought two tickets to use 3 days from now. No way to get a refund. "Activate" is not the best word choice, here. Beware, users!
I'm new to bus riding and usually only used ubers or lyfts out of convenience but this app is about to make me a bus convert! Very user friendly, just click buy pass, choose what ticket/pass you want, checkout, and click "Activate" on the screen when your bus comes. 10/10 Thanks so much for making my first bus trip in a new city easy
Got ready to get on the ferry and then the app would not open, go figure. Now I need to buy another ticket. So basically app worked until after I bought my tickets. This app is a SCAM! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! UPDATE: The app mysterious started working after the fact (this review) and I have been issued a refund. Due to reliability, I would not recommend them for the future.
Been using this for a while and in the beginning I tend to have no problem and is really handy overtime it tends to start slowing down and it doesnt help to wait for it to load up my pass as the drivers are waiting for me. I suggest more stability updates to avoid this issue in the future.
I know they get paid for diving & it's not enuf provably, but they are always nice & even when their late. I've only had 3 times when I had to wait but I learned they give service to all of us. Wheelchairs, walkers do not turn on a dime. My walker is heavy & big & barely fits in car trunks, but they Always secure me & the damn walker.I Appreciate their service at $1.75 a ride, you can't beat it. THANKYOU Pierce Transmit ROCKS!!
When selecting the military/veteran discount, the ticket doesnt activate. It just expires then charges you. The app help request chat function is useless since no one responds to you. So if you need help or need a refund for multiple charges, you won't get any help and BATA cant help either since its not their app.
Doesnt work at all. Never loads. I've installed and uninstalled several times. It freezes and will slow down my phone or make it freeze too.
Entered the sign up code on my phone and screen is just blank when I try to buy passes. "Select Agency" in dropdown amd then says "Oops, something went wrong". It won't do anything!
this app is really handy for when you don't have cash on hand, and you have all your passes on one spot. Also no convinince fees for purchasing your passes.
Can't even get pass the first screen. I open it and the app continuously crashes.. this app is supposed to make your life easier but its just a huge headache
App worked until after I bought a ticket. After taking my money, the app stopped working. I don't recommend using this app unless you like taking financial risks. I may change my rating if i get a refund, but I won't hold my breath...
Works most of the time. But gives me an extremely difficult time whenever I go to activate a pass.
I've been using this app for years flawlessly, but after the last update, it wont even let me sign in. This is a serious headache given that this app has completely removed the need for me to carry cash on hand, and I ride the bus so often. PLEASE FOX ASAP
Twice I have inadvertently bought 2 passes for the same trip. When I purchase it immediately brings up BUY PASSES screen again. "Huh? Thought I just did that." Poor design.
downloaded the app. entered the code to they sent to my phone number.. waited for ten minutes to have something... anything happen so i could add money and get on the bus. glad i didnt get to add any money and then have it not work.
Lost my orca card and had no cash. Found this app and got a 30 day pass in three minutes. As long as I have my phone and the battery doesn't die, it's a great and very easy app.
Great but a clipper card fee for the ferry service in the bay area is $11 and on this app its the regular $14 fare. I would be more excited to use this app if the discounted fares were available.
Awesome app. Hopefully King County Metro picks this up and it would be great if they included a trip planner along with it!
Free bus rides? heck yeah! so much easier to get to school. Go to pierce college and their partnership has made transportation for me a piece of cake, of course, as long as it connects directly to a school.
Until just recently, its been having issues loading up to use my pass when I have actual cell service or Wi-Fi. I had to walk home which took an hour today!
Not much use without a schedule, unless I cannot find it in the app. Appears to work well if you only want to buy tickets.
This app does not open while data is being used. The app only works on wifi, which completely defeats the purpose.
Hopthru is trying to charge my account three times with only one approval. I want 4 disabled passes at $10 or nothing and I will uninstall the app!!!!
horrid app. Got on the bus and the app never even loaded in. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it... absolutely nun. Will never get another pass off this app again.
no monthly pass options? I went through the purchase options for the SF Ferry, and only see daily passes not monthly. am I missing something?
Wouldn't even let me buy passes! Couldn't select an agency. None displayed.
The app is great but recently I have had so many technical difficulties, my current bus pass has been marked as expired even though it doesn't expire until December and I can only see it in the purchase history. When I try to tap on it it won't even open on the main screen even though the date of expiration still says until December of 2021. It was so good until recent updates.
