Good except it's slow to load and you can't use the back button on your phone to navigate between pages. You can only use the app's back button and then when you get to the home page there is no option to close the app so you have to select the home screen button on your phone. We reported it to Horizon twice but the people in Michigan City didn't seem to understand or care which is typical for them.
This app consistently removes deposits and withdrawals from the history so it can never be trusted to give an accurate amount for how much is in your account. They seem to appear and disappear at random. Really not worth the hassle. Better to just switch to literally any other bank as everyone else has seemed to have apps figured out for years while horizon consistently releases updates that seem to do nothing.
I use this app regularly and apply every update. I pretty much just use it for checking my balance and my transaction history, but it's always up-to-date and easy to understand. Pending transactions are shown with identifying information but also clearly marked as PENDING, wich is very helpful. The fingerprint authentication works well. Load time can be a bit slow by today's tap-and-go standards, but I'm never in THAT much of a hurry to use my banking app, but this app isn't beyond my tolerance for something I want to initiate a pretty secure connection.
App is broken. When I log in to deposit checks, the error page says "You must be logged into our mobile app to deposit checks." Not sure how you can even get served that page without being logged in. Especially since all the other menu choices work. Also it doesn't record my activity, the only two reasons I needed it. 2 stars instead of 1 for not crashing my phone. I'm deleting it.
Never had any problems with this app. If anything would like to see it expanded to include the rewards program and small loans
Every time I want to do a transfer I literally have to uninstall and reinstall. It is seriously redi ulous. Please fix the glitch. I have a very good phone do it's not me.
Currently stuck watching a spinning wheel trying to do a mobile deposit. And there isn't anything that I could see to try and fix it myself
Nothing positive to say about the app, was with chemical when they switched to tcf, tcf had a decent app but it was a step down, horizons app is lacking in comparison the best I can do is 2
Bug fixes did not work. Still cannot login since updating app. I hate absolutely everything about horizon bank.
I would like to lock and unlock my debit card from the app for security reasons. chase has this feature and I use it all the time
Have been having loading issues when trying to log in for the past week. Occasionally had the issue, but usually only a few hours. Now it is constant. I'm still able to log in using chrome. When this issue is not present, the app is perfect for me. I did reinstall but the issue still ongoing. Hoping issue is fixed soon.
Its a little slow. Can't always find what I need. I would like a notification when something clears or comes across my account.
The totals are NEVER correct! Worst Bank Ap I have ever had to deal with. It's pointless when your totals are always wrong! Horrible! I don't ever even review Aps but it's so bad I felt like I had to.. lol
The app opens up attempts to load and then closes out. I've never had any problems with this app up until a month ago. It's pretty annoying to have to check my balance on ATM's when I'm used to opening up this app and knowing where I'm at with my money. I've tried clearing the cache etc. nothing has worked. Please work on this! I'm using a Moto G7 Power on Verizon.
had an issue with a transaction over the weekend so using the app I sent out a message to cancel the transaction on Monday morning so it wouldn't go thru, I was told by Jenna customer service there was nothing she could do and I should go to my nearest bank or speak with the merchant, it was a Sunday and since then I haven't been able to login to my account to check on my deposits, I just tried it lit up red! going to lock it out. not liking this app
This app hasn't worked for over three weeks now. Login times out with network connection error. Uninstalled reinstalled no help. Contacted customer support three times and get the same canned response everytime. "We are aware of the issue and are working on it. Have no ETA on the fix." Ridiculous. Unprofessional. Address the problem and fix it!!!
It's great! I can instantly see what I've spent. How much went into my account. Pay bills. Any thing you want to do. You can do with this app
When I click Zelle, there is a blank screen. I can't send money via Zelle using this app.
When this was Salin Bank the app used to work wonderfully, but Salin is now Horizon, and I thought the change was for the better, nope, the change was for the worse, the app takes almost a week to update. You don't see your own deposits until many days later, purchases show as pending for at least 3 days, so I really don't see the benefit of having this app, it just takes space in your phone and it doesn't help you. Improve and get with the times Horizon, you went backwards with this app.
It gets the job done, but it is rather laggy and is still missing some features while on android market. I still cant take pictures of my check to deposit them even though it says you can! It's the things like that that make the app slightly disappointing.
App doesn't work at all since last update. Really upsets me! Enough that I'm considering switching banks. App hasn't worked for well over a week. Any competent institution would have this fixed by now. Really makes me consider the abilities of the institution as a whole.
After the update all doesn't even load. When the app icon is clicked, the app's green splash screen with Horizon bank logo shows up for brief moment but then app shuts off it self. It doesn't even load to the login screen. It was really slow before but now, it doesn't work at all.
Mostly helpful. Sometimes it shows different things ten minutes in between log ins. It would be nice if we could see our password ( or at least an option to) when we are done typing it. It would save a lot of incorrect log ins
I banked with Farmers State for years and stayed with Horizon even though as soon as they switched over my account got hacked twice in the first 3 months. Now... I can't even ever get on my app to check my balance and transactions, I have read multiple reviews of others having the same issue, yet it is sti not being resolved. I am getting very discouraged!
This has to be the worst banking app I've ever seen.i have to uninstall and reinstall each time to log in. Tried to link another bank account to my account with Horizon to set up autopay for my auto loan. Cant even do that on this app. Very disappointed. Not sure why they haven't updated and fixed all the problems to make it usable like other banking sites.
I can never login it always says can't login from this device if I call into support they'll fix it I can log-in once and then it breaks again. It's been this way for three years through multiple different phones. I just use a web browser.
