The app is nothing special. The most glaring bug is that you have to turn OFF the WiFi when using the app, otherwise you'll get the "Oops, cannot connect to the internet" message people are talking about. As for the permissions, most are pretty standard. The reason it wants access to your photos/files is because there is a maintenance request form that allows you to upload a photo of your maintenance issue and needs access to the file system to do that. Hope that helps someone!

Clicking on open map to find your reservation crashes the app. I don't see any information that I didn't already have in email. It does show a list of near by attractions and restaurants, but I don't need this app for that information either. Maybe it would be useful if I was traveling every week, but for once or twice a year, seems like bloatware.

The app lacks images of properties for rent. Also would be a tad more convenient to access the payment history/make payments information on your rental as well. The main site has this feature but the app does not. The point of an app is to make it more convenient and still include the main features of the site. Please update this app, as I would like to continue renting from this company and really dislike having to open up a web browser everytime I want to check something on my rental.

Easy to navigate. The suggestion section is very useful. Everything we are interested in is listed, usually most often there is link for more information. This app has been very helpful in planning our trip.

It's a great idea for an app, and it's navigation is fairly simple. It crashes occasionally though which is annoying. And based on property manager/owner, the info sometimes is better than others.

The condos couch was broke so we were unable to use the sleeper, the hot tub was out of service, the plumers had to access the condo on three different days for a leak, there were "Palmetto bugs" and the entire entrance was torn up from construction...that means no sidewalks at all. We had to rent a car instead of a golf cart due to the construction which would not have been an issue if we had been told about it before we got there. I would not rent this space for this much money again.

We enjoyed our OBX vacation. App was very helpful. However, we were not pleased with our unit, Dune Song. The jets in the bathtub on the 2nd floor weren't operating, we found water bottles under the couch, (left by previous tenants), a section of the wooden fence around the pool was falling down, the bottom of the door jam leading to the 3rd floor balcony was rotted out. I did complete a Fix-it form regarding these items. Hopefully they will be addressed.

As far as having access to my reservation, the app worked well. But I have tried to leave a review, and that isn't working well. Too bad, because I gave the condo unit and realtor a 5 star. Tried to leave a picture of wildlife near where we stayed, can't access the review and only part of the last sentence is visible. App needs some work...

This app does really do anything helpful. Map doesn't work. It doesn't have any information about your rental beyond the address. It has a couple of broken links to weather and tide charts. It just doesn't do anything.

It was effortless to book our condo. We received a welcome package email and we were updated of any new changes ( like new Florida taxes), they told us exactly when and how much money was going to come out of our account. We also received emails from other apps to show us things we could site see. We received options for not just 1free item or boat ride, scuba diving, play areas for adults, but 1free EVERY DAY we are here, as well as 2 free condo beach ⛱️ recliners and an umbrella every day we s

The app is cumbersome and unintuitive. It collects a ton of private information with no opt out option. Completely unnecessary when the only thing you need is the access codes to the rental property.

app barely functions. temperature controls for my stay were definitely bugged, and there is no internal messaging service. they want you to connect your email and give no guarantee that it wont be shared with third parties. big no for me. next time an airbnb wants me to use this, I'm cancelling.

Not sure what all the complaints are about, I had no issues with the app. It was able to pull up my reservation with no problem, and see what was around my rental. I was able to use maps without it crashing.

We stayed in Villa 281. It was very clean on our arrival , which means a lot to us. There was no problems getting in. The rental group was super friendly and very helpful. We had a great time with our family. The beach was awesome and biking is great. Also if your family would rather use the pool, it very family friendly, large and spotless. As far as getting groceries on the island, there is a grocery store that has everything you need. Its pricey however. We will return soon. 😊

Not working for me. I've booked a trip and this app is supposed to provide details like wifi code, door entrance code, etc. It doesn't work at all. Doesn't even show that I booked the trip. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Totally awesome location. Loved walking the beach, listening to the waves, watching the storms come and go. Blake was also awesome! Took care of all our needs with a tremendous customer service attitude! Furnishings could use some TLC but we are looking forward to coming back next year.

It was great. There was some writing on the walls so I informed the vtrips repressentative. Also I didnt like that there was a no smoking policy in the house or near the property. I wsh they could have changed that I had to go outside in the cold and smoke in my car but other than that the stay was plendid. Thumbs up 4 atars

We had a great time! The cabin was just beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the game room, pool table, hot tub and our very own private swimming pool. The water was a bit cold for an inside pool. I do wish that it was a heated pool, but regardless we had a great time and I highly recommend that you book a cabin with them. We will definitely be back.

App was very useful as it has been in the past. Only error was the combination for the pool entry at Lake Forest in Sea Pines. Others using the app had the same situation. Lots of information on things to do and places to visit.

We had an excellent experience renting this beautiful house. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. Joy was a pleasure to work with and reassured us when we had a slight incident with the garage door. The area is so nice and near to many attractions, shops and restaurants. The beach is a short golf car ride away. Our only problem was the crowded beaches but we chalked that up to the holiday.

I have been using Island Getaway for my rental home's in Palmetto Dunes every year for over 20 year's sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. I would give them a 10 ☆ rating. The home is always very presentable and clean. I maybe had 2 or 3 issues over the years with minor things that were handled very quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone going to Hilton Head island. They are so friendly, helpful and competent. I was in Palmetto Dunes for 10 day's in May of this year. Working on next year.

Liked the location, activities, and the beach. The funiture and decor was really bad. Too many mirrors, couch very uncomfortable, washer and dryer that took all day. We left on the 24th. A week early.

It looks like it could be a useful app but when you try to open any of the information in the various sections, the app crashes.

Beautiful house with perfect setting on the beach in Holiday Isle! The house was elegantly decorated and included all the necessities. Having porches in the back and front allowed scenic views from all angles- and, with 4 bikes included, you could stroll to other areas as well. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to return next year!

Enjoyed the duplex. The beds definitely need to be addressed! One bed on the 1st floor had a broken bed frame. My brother-in-law found a sack of cement and a large book to bolster the bed so they could sleep in it. The other bed on that floor has a mattress that is very broken down and people sleeping in the bed roll to the center. The bathrooms are quite nice, but is not friendly to short people trying to get in the bathtubs. The sliding doors and the toilet so close to the tub hinders people with hip or knee problems accessing the tub that is 24 inches high, plus the sliding door frame. Loved the high ceilings and the sliding doors for circulation on the main floor. Problem using the fireplace as it had been turned to the off position and was unusable.

Keeps autofilling my date of arrival, which is wrong, and won't let me change it. The calendar that pops up let's me change it but after you click to change, it does nothing!

The house was fabulous. So much room for all 27 of my family members that stayed there. The pool was a life saver since double red flags flew quit often during our stay. The dining table set up was great. We could all eat together!! I have already had requests for your web site from friends. I give the house and our stay there an A+ rating!!!! Ok

App doesn't work properly, crashes when using find my rental, doesn't email invitations. Really does nothing more then a website could, rental companies should have just made a html page for each rental.

Such a lovely condo, and right on the beach - twinkling stars at night, rolling waves all day. We did not want to leave. Our only complaint was that the first night we brought home frozen pizzas and could not find hot pads to remove the pizzas from the oven. Would come again in a heartbeat!

I am of an age and technology is hard, but think I have installed properly. Just wanted to send a review of Favored by Fortune, the house we are renting. Had a problem wireless entry, but the representative we called gave us other codes to use and we were successful. The house was very clean and every amenity we could imagine. My son was able to show us how to work the t.vs but still haven't figured out the fireplace. If we have a problem in the future I only have to call and know someone is there to assist me. The customer reps are knowledgeable and very helpful.
