Hot or Not

The app was great and all but I dislike the fact that you need to pay for credits to message people you wanna talk to if you haven't matched. Even if you like someone they'd need premium to see the like so at this point you're just wasting time playing a waiting game. It used to not be this way, you could message whoever, whenever. Save yourselves the headache, there are other options available. Just deleted my premium account.

Formerly known as "hot or not". It was a much better app back then. You were able to talk to people that you didn't necessarily match up with. Now they will not let you send the message to anybody without paying for it with extra credits. So what am I paying for now just to gawk at women?🤷‍♂️ It's a total rip off! I will not accept apologies from chat and date!

It's been over a week since I've sent an email to support about my account and no one has reached out to me. Just picked for my premium and they blocked my account and they keep saying that they're going to reach out and they never do . Bad service

I miss the special pages a profile could have, and I think it is a lil crazy when I could pay for the whole yr and still have to pay extra if I want someone to notice me.

It is not bad but a way to earn credits ( for exemple watch adds to earn credits) would make the app better.

It was a better app before now you have to pay to send a message if you do not match with 3x the price, not buying credits sorry

You say when we match, we can message for free but what good is that if you won't let us see there profile when they message in the first place. How can you find that match if its blurred.🤷‍♂️

This app is an absolute joke. I re downloaded it about 4 months ago and didn't use it for two months, then spent a month having to report over 10 of the same spam profile every day. Bring us to recently when 2 hours ago I payed for their premium and some credits. Immediately after I send "Hello." to two potential interests and set my phone down to get back to work. Go back to my phone to find they deleted my account for "Threatening or rude behavior." This app is a scam, save your time.

Not easy to operate. After paying for the first credit, i still had to pay again to be able to chat and meet people.

Many users are blocked for "rude or threatening behavior", without any actual reason. - The "feedback" option does not exist. There is no customer support. - On the other hand, the app doesn't detect and block scams, making it very popular with online fraudsters. - Stay away!

I had a profile back when this was called hot or not. Id always come back to update my photos and such. Recently when i went to update my profile it got blocked for a mistake i made. I wasnt given a warning or a chance to fix this mistake nor did they give me any detail on what mistake i made either. I tried contacting them for help only to be told they couldnt let me know who reported my profile. Not once did i ask who reported it. All i wanted was to fix my profile. I dont recommend this app.

The app seems to work well most of the time. One thing I'd really like to see is that they settle on a name- badoo, hot or not chat and date-- pick one! I also hate when my settings for searches suddenly change! Then all of a sudden (I live in central Massachusetts) I'm getting responses from New York and New Jersey! That wastes a lot of my time! I can find where to adjust the settings , but I cannot find a place that will lock the settings as you're suggesting.

Surprisingly decent free app. I've got seemingly real matches who are genuinely interested in relationships. This app hasn't yet bugged me for premium, and I've found several people nearby who are real. The only complaint I have is that since, my internet cuts out occasionally, I'm unable to use the messaging function until it's back up. Maybe consider a data supportive messaging system. It's not too big a deal though.

I really do like the app a lot, I even met my ex through the app, but the one thing that I would change is having a filter for how far away people are in encounters so you aren't wasting your time trying to find people close to you. Only having the choice to search by gender and age makes it harder to find someone compatible

Hot or Not also aka Badoo or Blendr (same app and same profiles). Cons: Lack of search filters; you can't filter for distance, non-smokers or intentions. My credit card was compromised after I had purchased credits. Not many active profiles except you live in a big city. In fact, there are many inactive profiles that should be deleted. No geographic filter which makes swiping a real hassle. Pros: Most of it is free except messaging without matching. More details about someone than on Tinder.

I feel user base is not large enough, and therefore the app sometimes changes filter automatically to show users from far away. there's also not a demographic here that I'm seeking. many women don't take time to complete a bio (lazy or bot). Also, there are few attractive, well-educated, career-minded individuals. Obviously, rather subjective, and I say this at the risk of sounding elitist, but that's my opinion :)

It's a good app but I have only one complaint.. which is that I keep finding that when I see someone like me.. I try to find them and like them back for a match, but i always run out or i have very few on the list.. or even they dont appear at all on both pages.. I'm not sure how to work around it or if there's an issue with the system. Maybe there can be some extensions to the filters?

Well first of all I spent 40 dollars because there was no 2 step verification on the purchase and now I'm stuck with it since they dont do refunds. Decided to go with it and hope for the best but theres hardly anyone in my area and the closest people are either far away or not interesting. The paywall is ridiculous and even if you break it there isnt anything that justifies breaking it. Trash app. 11/10 should avoid.

Pretty great app. Been using it for years. Unfortunately, most women on here don't know how to have a conversation. LOTS of 1-3 word messages. Also, this app REALLY needs the ability to move your photos around on your profile. I'd like to move my most recent photos to the front of my profile, but don't want to delete awesome photos of myself I don't have anymore to make that a reality.

I just reinstalled this on my galaxy s7, it is the laggiest and slowest app I have ever used I don't know what is wrong with it but I have tried reinstalling it and it is still so laggy and slow its unusable. It is in a constant cycle of lag its terrible and will probably delete it if they can't fix it in the next week. It was never like this before and I dont know what they changed the only difference seems to be more ads so if that's why then please get rid of them.

The preferences will actively promote what the majority of people are, going against what I actually find to be attractive. Even though there are people who have descriptions of themselves, that would align with the set preferences I set in place. After testing it seems that in my area there are at least 2 preferences that just get rid of themselves after you select them: body type and relationship.
