Well.... It was working fine for a while and really enjoyed it, made tons of progress and had tons of cars in my collection. Put money on this app to buy all kinds of stuff. And one day, out of the blue, no access, Error Code 7. Only way to get it to work back was clearing the Data from my phone, which of course deleted all my progress....really sad about this. Not happy at all....uninstalling with pain in my pocket and heart. And by the way, the phone number does not help, the guys on the phone are not the developers. Their hands are tied due to the "safety" embeded in the game that you don't create an account, so when your progress is gone, is gone for good.
The Best Racing Game Ever!!! The Cars are amazing to control and the graphics are amazing and the cars look amazing 5/5 the control are easy but hard at same time.
This is a great hot wheels game. It is really cool you can play with your hot wheel car digital or in real life. The only downside is that the app requires Wi-Fi, and it takes a long time to load.
This game is giving a error called it looks like we run into a problem please check your internet connection then let's try that again! I retry and it's still the same can you please fix this I just want to get back my Childhood please reply once you fixed this :(
Well I loved the game till now I have not played for some time and now I go in to it and I have no progress and none of my ID cars and the ones I got by playing and as far back as I can remember you never had to log in with a Mattel ID so not happy with the game at all and I had a lot of stuff all gone and I don't know why tnx.
Awesome game! Hot Wheels (and Matchbox) were my favorite toys growing up. Great graphics and gameplay, huge assortment of vehicles, and much more. (Real review)
A lot of my car options are blank canvases, I had purchased the bal air over 3 months ago and I still cant use it.
Yhe scanning doesn't even work! And I'll make 1 thing clear; I do not want an auto generated answer! If you do, I will never download this again and I will report the auto generated response! And no, I will not call you so don't give me the: "why don't you call us?". I'll report that! I just want a response written by a human! Not a bot! Fix the scanning because the car I got for hotwheels id was just a huge waste of money! You're scamming people! FIX. THE. SCANNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!°
i cant get it to work with my chromebook the portal wont pair even with 5g and 2.4g wifi and bt on nothing will work it just stays on the "turn on portal" screen can anyone help

Gameplay is fun, the graphics are nice, and the game runs smooth. I am enjoying it so far. To add store bought cars to your garage, make sure the app is closed and have both Bluetooth and NFC enabled. Place the car to the back of your phone. After the car is scanned, click the link and it will open the app and automatically add the car to your garage. It seems like the cars will not be added if the app is running.
I really like having the physical ID car and the scanning process is quick and easy. The game is fun and the in app purchases are there but not necessary... and there are no ads! I wish the upgrades were more noticeable. It bugs me that a car with 1000+ PR doesn't absolutely wreck a car with 250 PR. You will win but the 'opponent' always crosses the finish line seconds after you do, as if the race had really been that close.
Update! All of my cars have been erased and I have to start building them up from the beginning. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!! I have contacted customer support and no help. I loved it. I spent a lot of money on the physical id cars. Now I have no way other than to spend more money to upgrade each car because of the update. Not fun anymore. I spent over a year collecting the cars. This was the only video game I played.
Had a glitch where all my scanned physical cars released after a certain point would not work in game (appeared in game but images were errored white boxes) when trying to use the car the game would not recognize them. New cars would appear with the same white errored images and not show any picturea of the cars. Created a Mattel account in the hopes that there would be a way to save or recover progress. Couldn't find an option. Uninstalled and reinstalled and lost all progress and saved cars.
This game is fun, but what happend to the race off hotwheels car game? Race off was fun, please bring it back.
Update: 4/25/22 The game no longer opens, it gives error 7. I deleted the game and reinstalled it and it worked for a few days but now it doesn't work again. :/ UPDATE The recent update dropped 1m hot wheels ID coins, I'm pretty impressed that they went above and beyond to fix the issue with earning more. Now there are more daily challenges that reward you with way more coins for each race!
