No way to contact the support team. Keep getting smss for a follow up appointment that I don't need but no way to stop them for that one appointment. A chatbot option only appears when you click a few keypresses and if you say you are a patient it says it can't help and ends the chat. Only my daughter's appointments appearing in app not mine. Needs work
I have used this app a few times. There a certain repeat meds that I can't get through here and need to make an appointment to see my doc, which takes weeks. Overall, I find it easy, useful and very convenient.
Simple to use and convenient to see availibility etc. My only issue is the app doesn't provide an option to choose a telehealth appointment. When I book an appointment I then have to make a follow up call to the clinic to ask for that appointment to be done via telehealth. Providing an option to chose if you want to book a telehealth appointment or will attend a face to face appointment would make this app perfect.
HotDoc is amazing! Absolutely love this app, have never had any issue with it. Very easy to navigate, love the email and text notifications to remind me of upcoming appointments. I just use this all for nearly all appointments rather then ringing clinic. Highly recommend! Am extremely happy with this app
It doesn't work. I try to book an appointment using the calendar but it keeps flagging me with errors. The doctor's schedule is old and outdated, it only displays old info not the latest schedule.
Absolutely awesome app. Such an easy hassle free system. No need to hang on the end of a phone for hours waiting for someone to assist you to book in your appointments.
An awesome app, very easy to use. I can book a doctors appointment on my phone. I can see all the doctors at my medical centre plus it shows me the days they are on duty plus the times they are available. So easy to use, I wish all apps were this easy and friendly to use.
OMG!!! This is a great app & puts a whole new meaning to convenient. E.g; On Sunday I remembered that I'd forgotten to book a Tuesday morning appointment and my Clinic was closed for Easter. So I looked at available appointments on HotDoc and booked myself in...no worry no stress. The only suggestion I can make is create an option for telephone consultations. I can book online no problem but I have to also call them to clarify my requirements which nullifies any convenience created by the app.
Good App but very frustrating when "See were you are in the queue" when both of us had left the Clinic more than an hour ago a problem HotDoc sopped happening but it has reappeared again. Annoying when you are driving and receive a message that is totally useless.
One of the best professional apps that I've seen. It's comprehensive and made so easy that seniors like myself can understand it and it causes no second guessing to fill-in the form. To add a little icing on the cake, it even makes the appointment for you.
Very handy when u want to book ahead particularly with Inj and when your Results are due. Never had a prob but u cannot cancel online if something pops up. I certainly recommend App.
Really great app! You can book appointments and save the appointments to your calendar in your phone. It's pretty easy to use and incredibly handy.
Intrusive. I was using another app. My medical centre chose to change. So, I deleted the other app and NOW I make a booking by PHONE as receptionists don't come with annoying, intrusive cold canvassing w/ads. Still, I call and book by phone and all of a sudden I'm receiving unsolicited SMS by a company THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER. I DON'T have the app and DIDN'T give ANYONE permission to breach my privacy. Tried it again. Doesn't recognise my suburb or Doctor. Waste of time.
Very convenient and easy to use. Would be good to be able to add notes so doctor has a heads up before appointment.

Occasionally wont allow me to book an appointment.. always says can not confirm your appointment please call the surgery.. then when close the app there is an email saying appointment confirmed..
Great app but when are you going to add a phone consult option? It's just annoying when booking a standard consult then having to ring up anyway to change to phone consult!
I find the app so easy for booking appointments at a time that suits me, and at times when surgery may be closed. It's also handy to check booked appointments.
HotDoc is a buggy, confusing, clumsy and frustrating app to use. A real pain in you know where! Its just a method of doctors surgeries transferring the cost of making appointments to the patient. If patients find it a lousy App who cares? I used an Android phone which is up to date. Not sure what it would be like on Apple iOS.
If you like filling out the same forms multiple times, then this is the app for you. Everytime I fill out a form it doesn't save the first time.

This is a very family friendly clinic, the staff and doctors are all very friendly and supportive. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a really good doctor.

Can't get available appointments listed. Made an appointment which the app confirmed but didn't notify the clinic. Absolute waste of time trying so I'm booking by phone again
Not sure if it's the app or the clinic but I go through the annoying automatic checkin only to get to the end and have to check in at reception? Also tried to book a GP visit and a covid injection on the same day but app won't let me book more than one appointment per day. The clinic I use has other medical services besides GP Can you fix?
Ok, but not great for making appointments. Won't let you check in for an appointment until after it is actually due to start which makes this feature absolutely useless for letting the practice know that you are waiting outside for covid screening before admission. Update - apparently this is controlled by the practice not the app. But the practice says that they have no control over this. So either HotDoc support don't support their practices very well or don't know how the app works.
