Hotel Engine

It's a good app in progress. It gets you a discount as promised, but not any better than some other apps. I often check my other apps too and sometimes use this one, and sometimes use the others depending on the discount. It would be nice to just know the discount is going to be the best available. The ability to get clean receipts without advertising or unless comments is lacking also. A must for accounting purposes. It currently defaults to 2 guests. That should be an adjustable option.

First of all, I would say that I actually like the service. I've been using it for nearly 2 months and I have saved some considerable money on many occasions. Why the 1 star rating then? For the past 2 weeks, after watching for an area in the app, I find myself staring at a blank white screen as others have written about. Fortunately, I can still log into the website and book a room. It was better when I first started using the app. Not pulling up results literally means the app is unusable

Since I've started using Hotel Engine I've stayed in nicer hotels within our company budget. When you stay approx 18-24 nights a month in hotels every extra nice amenity makes a world of difference. This is the best app for hotels I've found. I turned my friends and Co workers onto Hotel Engine and they love it just like I do. I've only had one booking that was a Hassel and they quickly corrected the problem. Staff is proffesional sweet and very helpful.

I have hotel engine though my works employee perks and it's absolutely fantastic. Rates are almost always cheaper the other travel sites and their customer service is top notch! Had an issue with a hotel while traveling cross country and the hotel refused to refund me when I would not stay. Hotel Engine was a ble to get a refund for me!

App is easy to use but you don't really save money when you consider the HE fees and the majority of the hotels are myeh. If I didn't have to use for my company, i wouldn't.

Not my favorite app. When it is working, it doesn't flow well. It shuts down nearly every time I use it. It would be nice to be able to access my receipts as well. The service that Hotel Engine offers does not recognize any of my hotel programs. For instance, IHG is an excepted program, but I don't get IHG points or acknowledgement of my stay, thus not achieving IHG program status. So, good bye to room upgrades and other status recognition. The Hotel Engine points are useless to me.

Very good people at Hotel Engine. Had to cancel a room one night due to a severe traffic jam. Hotel Engine customer service got the room canceled for me and even got my company a refund. Love this app.

Can't extend your room have to book a entire new reservation if you end up staying longer. Something should be available for users to change dates or extend reservations either on app or website? I would think other sites Have that capability.

Easy booking I just wish it could include the hotel phone number also. Everything else is good.

I always get AMAZING rooms at way below the price on other sites!!! The APP is super easy to use as well.

Doesn't list all available hotels in the area and mainly list low standard type of hotels

Can't even see what the room looks like. Guess it's a chap shoot if it's a dump or nice or not. Just hit pay and find out when you get there i guess. Hey developers...It's 2022 yall... step it up!

It is easy to use and always hell me het the best rate.

Just need to add if there is truck parking.

For work it is a good tool

It got worse since the new update. You cant use the phones back button, you have to use the in app push buttons to navigate. They wont auto fill in your info, gotta do that manual now. The only reason I use this app is because my company makes us use it to book. Points are a joke, 30,000 points are worth like a $20 discount. I've seen cheaper prices for a walk in that what they offer most of the time.

Worst thing I've ever used. For some reason our company picked one of, if not the lowest rated hotel app there is. We have horrible luck with this app taking hours for the hotel to receive the booking and sometimes not at all

Very unhappy this last time that I had booked got to hotel .and nothing went through . The payment nothing the front desk lady and I for 4 hours back and forth on the phone finally got it booked at 9:30 at night. This is not but twice that this has happened to me. Hotel engine what happen you guys used to be on top of things and make sure everything was in order. This time I got no sorry I apologize nothimg

Horrible. It keeps shutting down in the middle of my hotel search.

Hard to change the dates if you tap the wrong day. When you select filter "distance " it should show the distance from where you are.
