Booked a room and after 17 hrs of driving I get there and they don't have my reservation. Hotels tonight never sent my reservation over. Could not get a room after calling over 20 hotels in the area. Hotels tonight couldn't help with rebooking or anything. All I got was a refund. That took over a week to get. Slept in my car because I had no choice. Ended up hurting my back. I'm level 5 now and I will be uninstalling. Will be advising everyone I told to download this app to uninstall as well.
What a scam. They overcharge for hotel rooms (cheaper on the hotel's website directly) and then even though they could cancel a brand new transaction they choose not to. Do not use this app. I did once and it cost me $700 for absolutely nothing.
As the saying goes, first impression, is the best impression. This app is very easy to use very easy to navigate and some of the greatest prices I have used with staying into hotels around the United States.
We have used Hotel Tonight many times but we won't use it again. We booked a hotel and paid extra to have a pool. When we arrived the pool was closed. We asked for a refund and they said they couldn't give us a refund or discounted rate because we booked through Hotel Tonight and not directly through them. We contacted Hotel Tonight and they would not cancel or discount our stay because of their policy. Next time we're booking straight through the hotel so we don't have issues like this.
Consistently a disappointment. The UI of the app is okay, though the lack of sorting and filtering is annoying. However, the stays have been consistently disappointing. The cost isn't much of a discount and the experience is terrible. When a hotel I booked had no wifi (despite saying it did), customer service gave me a €12 credit that was good for 3 months 🙄
I wasn't happy because I was charged for two days when I only stayed one really I didn't even stay 24 hours. The room was dirty and even though I told the concierge about the situation and about the room, they lied and said there wasn't a complaint when I went to the desk checked out and called hotel tonight soon as I did check out and still couldn't get a refund. I'm highly disappointed and unsatisfied. On top of paying for a 400 for a two night stay I was offered a 50 dollar credit instead
Needs a function to filter search just solid and hip, if I want to filter out basic. Search by 2 beds available, etc. But over all I like and use this app several times a week for work.
I sure would like to be able to save, more hotels(in the favorites)as I like to travel weekly and remember which ones I have been to. They only allow 30, I can do that many in the city near where I live.
This app has made me fall in love with whatever city I travel too! Great safe choices and I have been a repeated customer to most! Perfect for traveling for business and booking for a larger group!
Love this app. It's the primary one I've used when I travel. Since I fly by the seat of my pants, this definitely helps me save some cash and stay at cool hotels when I plan last minute trips.
Customer service is top-notch. I made a booking mistake and Jan was able to assist me and correct my mistake quickly and easily. Very responsive, understanding, and helpful. The app itself is easy to use and the deals are always solid. Highly recommend this app to even the most casual of travelers.
Fast easy. I do wish we could put down a room type preference. Trying to get a double bed is frustrating sometimes.

Needs a major overhaul!!! I cannot turn off notifications/alerts for deals or adjust booking nights for the notifications.
I love Hotel Tonight. I get nothing but the best rooms with this app, and if there is ever a problem, they're customer service department will work hard to correct it.
Horrible filters don't work. Keeps on switching back to old settings sporadically.

App is easy to use but when I went to check out and book my room, it said it was unavailable. Why show something as available only to tell me it's not when I go to pay?!
It really was more of a hotel issue, but we are still waiting for it to be resolved. We had reservations that we prepaid for on Saturday Feb 19. We were staying at the hotel with a group. The rest of the group checked in before a tour we had scheduled but we were running late. We checked into the hotel at 11:30pm to find out they had overbooked and given our room away. I tested positive for Covid the day I was to travel. The hotel refunded my money to HotelTonight and I've NEVER received a refund OR a credit. And their app doesn't have contact information to speak with a representative to be to resolve the matter. If I could LESS than 1 star I would. And they've had the refund since December 29th and kept the money- disgusting
These guys are the worst. Do not use this app. Mistake made on booking and they do not refund or allow for any changes. I was told they would at least give me a voucher, but after a few email exchanges... not even that. Horrible cutomer service and no refunds if the hotel is not what it was advertized as.
