Constant freezing and is almost always down. Can't launch more than twice a day. Update: Been a few months, and I'm still having the same problems. Constantly down, can't launch the app, won't let me see my schedules, widgets don't update.
The app doesn't work. I have been forced to uninstall and reinstall the app 4 times today. I tried to get in contact with the support team but am redirected and asked to enter my password through a touch-tone number pad. Which conveniently doesn't work either. The rating is so low because you are charged $2.99 USD for the app. Just to have the app constantly broken. If you are to receive a refund, you lose access to their broken app, and are forced to use the website. Trash company.
App doesn't work on my phone. Work made me pay for it without reimbursement and it doesn't even work. Buyer beware of this scam product! If I could give lower than one star, I would. ****Vendor Please contact me for reimbursement!******* Update: reached out to both Google Play and Fourth. Representatives from both refusing to reimburse $3.20 on an app that doesn't even work. If Google and Fourth need my $3.20 that bad, they must really be desperate. What terrible business practices.
Very easy to use and seamless! No annoying pop-ups or ads either. I'm glad I paid for this app rather than using the free version on the website because it allows me to set what my availability is, as well as directly call, email or text any staff or management with the click of a button. Itz very simple to use and I like that it notifies me immediately when my schedule is posted or whenever changes are made/ extra shifts are available for pickup! 5 stars 🌟
Could be a good app however I have to update this one a month or so, being super annoying especially when my service provider decide to be slow not allowing me to find out when I have to work. I don't understand why there are constant updates with no noticable difference. It always states "bug fixes" but the only bug is the constant updates. PLEASE just stop forcing me to update it's a giant pain in the @ss
Can't login. Spoke with someone from their help desk. Was told to login from a different web browser. I paid for this for ease of use. Which is not the case. Several other work mates are having the same issue also The developers should address these issues. If you're going to take money from people for a product that they pay for, and can not use, is called theft! Fix your issues or return everyone their money!
Horrible service. I'm a General Manager and can't change jobs codes. It's horrible service as I have reached out several times over a month now and no one helps.
On the very rare occasion it manages to even get past the logo screen, it forgets my login info, and since I started my job over a month ago, I forgot too, but when I choose to send reminder/password reset emails, it never actually sends them (they're not even in the spam folder). Then sometimes I restart the app and it remembers my info and logs me in, but then each menu selection leads to blank screens anyway.
It keeps loading forever and it won't let me log in on the app, but it will let me log in on the website. Would not recommend actually paying for something that doesn't work.
Best work place app ever, get schedules, request time off, add availability, message coworkers and managers, and have it all linked to your calendar automatically.
Works the same as the web address but you can set your work availability for $3. Such a ripoff and still doesn't work right
Constant login errors! The app will log me out then when I try to log back in it tells me there's an error. This has happened multiple times and is super annoying when I'm trying to see my schedule
Since changing phones i have no use for this app. On my old phone it was more convenient than going into the browser, but now it hardly works and the browser is a very realistic option with my new phone's very low loading time. I normally wouldn't care, but I was all but forced to spend money on this app, so for it to be as bad as it is is horrendous. It also has less features than the laptop browser version despite being a paid app. Add easier features, fix login, and it'll be worth my time.
App keeps crashing since last update. Tried to email the support team and there inbox is full. Had the app since 2015. Now it wont even load anymore. So annoying.
I hate how clunky the updates are. I can't even log in after the new update to this app because I keep recieving an error message even though none of my login info has changed. What's the point in paying $2.99 for the app if I can't even use it??
So far so good. I honestly know some of the people that we work with probably hate that our numbers are easily distributed. Not that it shouldnt be for buisness reasons. But its fun. And u can message from the app. Thats chill. Made my lil profile. And well i havent had it long and the app asks for a rate. So ill come back later..
I can't seem to create a profile. I do the log in detail but the button to press "create your profile" doesn't seem to work.
The app used to be great, but now it's hot trash. It's convenient. But that's only when I can get the app to open. Most of the time I wait and wait for the app to open from anywhere between 5-10 minutes. The rest of time it won't open at all. I try restarting my phone, switching from wifi etc. It's frustrating and is faster to login from a web browser. All in all, don't waste your money on the app when you can work faster on a browser, even if you choose to use ye old Internet Explorer.
Overall, the app is pretty solid. It's fairly intuitive and has a user friendly UI. Up until recently, I had never encountered any problems with the application. Idk if it was a change in software or some kind of user defined setting, but for over a month now, I have been unable to see a certain few of my co-workers listed anywhere within the app. None of them have been terminated. In fact, there are numerous members of the staff that ARE gone, but I can still see THEIR names.....please fix!!!
The app doesn't load my schedule half the time. It seems like every other time I open the app I have to relog into the app. When it does load my schedule, it takes literally 2 minutes for it to load. There is no way to opt out of email notifications in the app, the only way is to open an email from HotSchedules and opt out of emails through that. The website isn't much better, it will not keep you logged in at all, and the interface is far more confusing.
I've used this many times a day for almost 7 years. It has consistently been updated to have many features. My ONLY reason 4 stars is because there seems to be an issue with text input. No auto capitalize and input seems to be buggy. This has been a consistent problem over the years across many devices(currently Huawei Honor 7x). It's easy to over look, I'm just being a bit nitpicky.
Interface is pretty standard but clear and easy to read. It syncs up well with Google Calenders, and I'm notified immediately of any schedule changes or availabilities. Finding the page that shows you who works with you and when on any particular day isn't at all clear, as I only learned where to find it several months into my job from one of my coworkers. On the desktop version, I noticed there's an option to insert a preferred name, but nowhere does it actually display my preferred name.
You should NEVER have to pay to view your work schedule. With that said, this app is broken. It doesn't show all jobs, for example: it does NOT show the people scheduled for utility. I have to go to the browser version that is FREE to see everyone working the shift. Sometimes there are login errors, and sometimes I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. I bought this app years ago and I want my Money back!
