Hotspot Widget

So this app doesn't even deserve one star because its a piece of crap that deserves to be srecked cuzz it wont allow me to give off wireless internet what sooo ever and its all I got in order for my laptop to get internet so I say ignore the stupid thing... its a pile of trash

Working well on Optimus V, still running 2.2.1 Froyo. There is a cap on "unlimited" data usage with VM though. But I run my Kindle Fire off of this for quick browsing and haven't had issues. Also allows me to password protect & it's easy to use.

Hot-spot is enabled and working on my phone. I downloaded this widget and put on my homesceen as a short-cut so I don't have to go through settings. However, when I press it, there is no response. Doesn't work. HTC DESIRE on lollipop.

I have a Huawei Android and this doesn't work on my phone. It let me download it and when I went to use it, it wouldn't never do anything.. Please fix because my friends has it and it works great but for now I'm deleting it...

App is what it says it is, however doesnt work for my ics note. Seems legit though, thought i would give it a shot

Doesn't work on galaxy s4 phone .didn't work on my xperia pro running ics. Did work on my xperia neo running ginger bread though .

I don't know why, but this turns off my 3g connection when I activate. it used to work on my previous phone.

I used this all the time on my Samsung Epic 4g and it worked flawlessly. I am now running Jellybean on a Samsung Note2 and cannot get it to work... it gets hung up trying to turn the hotspot on. Too bad. Its a really nice widget.

Just do a factory data reset and when its going through firmware update hit cancel and you should be back to android 2.2.1 on the lg optimus s

I had hi hopes but I realy didnt think it would work. Well it worked. And works great. Turns my droid X into a hotspot.Awsome app.No problems what so ever.10 STARS

Had to give this a 1 because when I did the 2.2.2 upgrade on my optimus s and it no longer works and shuts my 3g completely. To bad I really liked it

No wifi but rather controlls tethering not expecting this but still rather pleased. Now its 1 button to turn on tethering which is awesome.

Warning, this app creates vulnerability to your phone and the gmail/email account on your phone. I used it, and bad url's where sent to my contacts.

I have a lg connect but I don't know where to get the password for getting access to my laptop someone help.

Lg optmus s Seems to be working great so far. Have to keep the screen on for the hot spot to stay working is my only complaint. That's why the 4.

Rated neither good nor bad. Does not work for Samsung galaxy S3. But mentions compatibility in description of application so this is fine.

Did not work on my Samsung Galaxy 6. I could hear a clicking noise when I tap it but nothing turned on.

Worked for a while but whenever I turned it on my data connection disappeared and could not form a hotspot :c

The only people who give bad reviews are tragically ignorant. Read descriptions and learn more about your device / carrier.

Does a fine job of turning HotSpot on and off with one single touch. My WiFi did not come back on. Another widget does, so this one will go.

It does work on motorola droid x2. froyo 2.2. You should not rate poorly if it doesn't work on your phone, stated for a specific phone.

I wish u ppl would stop with the "it doesn't work anymore" threads stop being cheap and get the got dam plan like I had to do it hurts but stop whinin

Just did nothing when clicked, button looks like greyed out green but hotspot stays off.

Sprint is money hungry and wants u to pay extra for the USB internet. Use to work til update

Great little widget to turn on/off Wifi tethering and avoid having to go through menus. Works perfectly on GS2.

The widget works as advertised on my Nexus One, and it has the same look and feel as the built-in power management widget.

It's just an On/Off Switch to put on my Home Screen Menu - which is EXACTLY what I WANTED. ^_^ It's perfect! ^_^ Thanks! Now I don't have to scroll through my menus to switch on my Wifi Hotspot all the time; one Tap & its on; or off! I hope the developer doesn't add any extras or colour options because I love that the Widget file size is tiny; as it should be. For those who don't understand: you won't find the Widget in your menu. Long-press your Home-Screen, select Widgets, select the Hotspot Widget. Done.

Sends out signal but is locked and then gives me an error 67 after a few seconds and shuts off..running android 2.2 and is a Samsung intercept
