Hourglass Time

Need an invitation each time you swap devices. I change devices often, and am ashamed to ask for yet another invite each time. I now use an old obsolete phone to send in the report, but I can't see any reason why the app can't create a personal backup to restore on a new device. Edit: ugh, 2022 update still doesn't allow for transferring to a new phone without having to bug the secretary each time!

I like the program for Secretaries. However, it would be helpful to give Circuit Overseers access to the congregations information anytime they desire. Right now, they can only have temporary access to one congregation at a time. Before getting access to the next congregation, the previous congregation has to remove the CO from their congregation account. This is not an app issue but a program issue. I didn't find a way to contact you other than through the app.

The app is awesome. My only question is , is there a way for it to be used on Samsung tablets? A few friends in our congregation get a error message stating "your device is not compatible with this version"

Super useful tool! We've been using it now for a little over a year and it's so easy for the brothers to use! I wish some functions online would work on app like the "send reminders" function. On iOS there is a way to see the groups and missing reports but there is no way on Android. Regardless of that, very neat tool that is easy for all to use.

Works very fine... you only need to read the discription and understand how it works! (so don't give it a bad rating when you just didn't!)

Nice concept. But I can't put in hours and minutes in the same field. For example you can't put 1.5 hrs, 90 min, 1 and 30. I half to make notes in comments. Kind of complicated for a simple app. Texting or calling it in was much easier. No one in our cong has answers. It should have instructions or a guide/help menu.

Excellent app. Helping us a lot in the congregation, both the body and everyone really to simplify. The site is translated into several languages. I'd gladly help with translating the app. To the developer,I have a big feature request: We used a regular account to give our circuit overseer access, but he'll show up as an inactive. Would it be possible to get a special circuit overseer access, who can only see , not edit? Thanks for your excellent app! Feel free to email me 😊

Not sure if everyone had the same experience, but Android app is different than IOS. Android app lack the feature to enable group overseer to update publisher info and emergency contact within the app while IOS have all those features. Otherwise I will give it five stars. Perharps there a way to do it which I don't see. It'd be helpful to have this update. The alternative option is to login on a web browser. But great app overall.

Having issues getting on the app. Tells me can't get reports, my network isn't working or need to request new invitation

No phone link. It worked for a hot minute. After that, NOTHING! it keeps saying it can't link my phone, invite expired, check internet. Nothings wrong with my internet! my phone connected the first time. Fix this app. I Uninstaller & reinstalled it & still nothing!

I have an Android device. My phone is a One+, and I am unable to link to Hourglass through the invitation provided by the congregation secretary. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling hourglass, restarting my phone, hard boot, etc., and I receive the message unable to link when I use the invite from the secretary. Strangely though, I was able to briefly get a glimpse of my report, not totally complete, once; then it disappeared and the same message as mentioned above appeared.

Simple and Easy, BUT... Would be awesome if it were possible to submit more than one publisher's report, such as for individual family members. App seems to be tied to the actual device itself. This caused a problem when the secretary sent the email invitation for my son, a young unbaptized publisher. After accepting the invitation for my son (under a separate email I use for things related to him), I was able to submit his service report info, but am no longer able to submit mine.

It's light weight and easy to use. I would give it 5 stars if you could include publisher contact information directly in the app for group overseers and congregation admins - that would help a lot. Also for admin, a summary to know how many reports are missing still. It would save having to log in through a browser. One other feature for admin which would be great, is to be able to submit meeting attendance. Please consider adding these features! Thanks

Very Well Made App but it can improve. Ot would nice to include the emergency contacts and other options into the app, instead of just the ministry report. Other than that, good job!

Concept is great. Received invite from secretary and installed the app, but it wouldn't "link", so I cannot submit my report. Also, it needs an additional field to enter LDC time; I am concerned about LDC hours getting overlooked or missed if the secretary does not look at the "notes" section, and then wondering why a publisher's hours are so low for a particular month.

Can we please have the hourglass logo show up at the 1st of every month, so we have the reminder to turn in our time? We used to have it but no more, please bring it back.

Great concept. However doesn't work for me. I need to restart my phone in order for the app to function. If not the app continues to glitch/ close out instead of remaining open. Such a bummer.

Great app. But i have not been able to acces assigned "delegates". Cong secretary added my publisher children so i can upload there time, but I have not idea where that option is on my end.

App is great for our field service report. How ever, some field is not working. Like i can't type minutes. Need to type exact numer of hours without minutes. And number of bible studies not working. Also cant connect invitation to app. I just use chrome. Please fix some issues.

Great app and software. Hourglass makes the secretaries and the publishers reporting so easy and safe specially during this time of pandemic. This software is a great help for secretaries and the publishers. I really appreciate it.

thanks for a great app. want to install app on pc but experiencing difficulties. when i try to install it, it keep telling me it is already installed on my phone. please help. i need to have it on my pc

it stopped working on my tablet and even with new invitation it will not link again. tried multiple times. have not gotten new device. tried uninstalling the app and installing new, but will not work

Only submit time for one person? I added this to my tablet but at this point it looks like only one person can put in their time. What about households with more than one person? Not everyone uses a tablet. Can you please tell me if this can add multiple persons or can you work on an idea for that?

Something as simple as entering few digits ended up being about 10 minutes of frustration with time validation and confusing user interface.

This is awesome! But how do I get it to make a noise to remind me. Cause since I switched phones I don't really see it come up vividly.

Almost great. just needs the print for the cards to be sized to a 4x6 instead of a normal sheet.
