You can remove it from the play store, but not from my account.. I don't agree with having to buy them again.. I own this one and Blood of the Zombies...now I'd settle for at least 1 of them to transfer, but I can't justify buying them twice...hook a ninja up guys...

PSA: The intro has lots of flashing "lightning" strobe effects, for those who may be sensitive to flashing lights. You can really see how Tin Man has evolved from their first releases by looking at this gamebook. While the story itself wasnt one of my favs back in the day and still isnt, it has been beautifully rendered into electronic format.

Boy, this app sure does bring back memories. I read all these books back when I was a kid and am delighted to enjoy them again in this modern format. "House of Hell" was definitely a classic, and very difficult. Looking forward to "Deathtrap Dungeon" and others and would love to see the Lone Wolf series from these guys. Well worth the money. Brilliant implementation. Thank you!

I spent a lot of time playing these books in junior high but never have they come to life like this. The software adds another dimension and is very well executed. The fact that you can decide to play fair makes it all the better!

I personally didn't enjoy it but I can see how some people love it, if it's your personal style. I agree with other reviewers who said the game is unbalanced. If you roll a certain amount of fear or less at the start of the game, there is literally no possible path through the game where you don't die. The fact that you can be doomed from the start without even having played for a second doesn't sit right with me. It's less about making educated and logical decisions and rather, finding the one path through the game that works, which is tedious and detracts from the story.

Brilliant adaptation but very hard to beat legit (although I think city of thieves was the only one I cleared legit back in the day!) Also it's a pity they didn't keep the same technique in finding the secrets (subtracting from page number etc) Anyway does anyone know how to get the alternative cover artwork?! Roll on next ff title. Ps you still have images of the iPhone and ipad in game. Please change!!!

This is actually really well written. It has been a long time since I had this much fun. In short this got me back into gamebooks and I can't wait to see more fighting fantasy games in the future!

I like the game a lot, but the fear mechanics are stupid. I mean, its a fear based game, yea, but the things you gain fear points from aren't even that mentally jarring. You practically gain fear points almost every scene, regardless of how frightening something like that actually would be.

When results are not based upon logic but chance, we deserve some respite.

I've been waiting for the FF books I so enjoyed when I was young to make it to an electronic form. This is an amazing port of the book sticking to the original material and allowing the option to experience improvements or not.

You've done it again Tin Man, another brilliant gamebook brought to our devices, I seriously like your work and that of the authors

This was the book I read as a child, fell asleep, dreamt about the room of darkness with flying head coming screaming at me... ran to parents room crying. The main story still creeps me out, because I have over active imagination.

Love the whole series and if there on offer I will buy them but the full price is a bit to expensive for me.

This is the third Fighting Fantasy adaptation that I have purchased from Tin Man Games. If you keep making them, I'll keep buying them. I'll also check out some of your non - Fighting Fantasy gamebooks, too.

This book still gives me the chills as it did when I was 10 years old. Probably one of the hardest FF books to complete!

If I'm to recommend a gamebook to my friend, this would be my first choice.

Thanks TM games for making these books available to a new generation. Another awesome addition to the FF series and a challenge to beat. I hope to see more soon. Keep up the fantastic work :)

I would love to see the option to roll your own dice and enter the results. I never trust computer rolls. Other than that, excellent adaptation!
