Completely different to the iPhone app, whole sections missing. Can't access House news, can't access health club bookings. Doesn't remember preferences, have to be selected every single time it's used. Really REALLY poor.
Fix this app! It just doesn't work, I now get a message saying the icon has been changed, it then says nothing to see here and then kicks me out. Uninstalled reinstalled does nothing, cannot do anything with it and the website isn't a decent backup as you can't do much on there either. Why are you isolating the largest group of phone users out there with this poor software development.
Android app is terrible. Signs me out every time I use the app, causing me to miss every notification. Can't pay with app, no Health Club option (new). I feel like a second class citizen.
The app simply doesn't work. Multiple attempts at changing passwords and reinstalling. Soho House support saying "we are pushing developers", but looking back it is has been over a year of the same complaints and one star reviews from members and users. Ridiculous.
The app is abysmal. Which wouldn't matter that much if membership cards were still issued. But we are forced to use our phones to order at the bar, enter the house, everything. And the app is slow (at best), missing key features, and crashes (at worst). This was a super half-baked idea to roll out a buggy and lacking app that is essentially in beta in-lieu of membership cards. If it's even slightly busy, bar staff will yell at you for using the phone instead of a (non-existent) membership card
Complete Android Discrimination! The app is constantly left behind compared to the iphone version. At every login you get logged out missing important reminders and notifications, you can't pay with the app or tap at reception and Android Pay is not working in any house. Just a terribile Android experience and zero interest from SH to improve as they clearly want to optimize for their iphone creative members discrimination whoever is creative with an Android.
app needs to be able to save the filter choices until the user decides to update them. I am in Berlin, every time I use the App, I need to reselect Berlin. ( bad design or bug?) With my Samsung phone I can't book events. it quits everytime. I can't use my phone for booking events. My planner looks different in different devices. app isn't saving and displaying the selections accurately. Discrepancy causes Confusion, my I pad, phone and macbook displays incorrect info in my planner.
Why do I have to sign in again every time I open the app now? Also when are we going to be able to book 180 health club on the app?
Enough saying that it prompts you to re-log in EVERYTIME you open it. Impossible to deal with. 🤦🏻♂️
1. App keeps crashing, particularly when you try to access your Membership Card 2. It doesn't allow auto-fill input during login 3. UX could be improved. e.g. you can't book more than 2 events/classes unless you go through a workaround
Since the uncommunicated 'update' to the App I have lost all my already purchased credits, the payment mechanism is not working so cannot book classes and I cannot see just classes at my house (Farm) without having to filter manually everytime. This is a backward step from the already perfectly functional App. Bugs are understandable. The lack of comms to members is not. Please email to let us know when you are going to resolve these matters please. Many thanks.
App logs out constantly, password screen doesn't integrate with password managers, filter selections aren't saved (why do I constantly have to re-select Berlin)? This app is a pain to use. You can do better!
The app is fine on apple but on android the booking system does not work. I can't scroll past 9 items so cannot book future events. This is a major issue at the moment as I we need to book to even come to the club.
Honestly soooo glitchy and right now won't even let me sign in even though I have all the right details.
Never works, updated many times, error message after spending much time inputting requirements, then "Something Went Wrong" everytime. Not up to Soho House expectations.
This is truly a horrid experience for Android users. We don't have the full feature experience and I can't even see the response to my notice board post.
The app won't let me stay signed in. It prompts me to sign in and once I do, it lands on the load page and right before it loads, it kicks me out again to the sign in page. Please fix!!
App buggy and not working, Upcoming Bookings section stopped working and Tech support keeps closing the ticket saying resolved. It's not. The Upcoming Bookings section does not work, so it doesn't notify me when my event or my rooms are available
Why you refuse to develop the app on Android the same way you did for iPhone? It's really annoying. On Android there's not even the chat option. I receive text notifications but there's nowhere in the app to text.
Experience built for iPhone and is significantly lacking features on Android version. No option to book restaurant, no house pay, no check-in option. Soho house really needs to invest more in their Android experience for their members (and majority of world not on iOS).
It's OK but the iPhone app is so much better - tap to check in to a House, House Pay, and ability to modify booking, none of which are implemented or working properly on the Android version.. When are we Android using members going to get the same experience?
Make Android pay work on Android. Feel like it's a pretty important feature when I'm at the pool and I'm trying to order drinks I can't actually pay with my phone I have to pull out my credit card that's really s*****. please make it work thank you bye.
Crashes and shows as having cancelled events when I haven't, and doesn't let me cancel events. Also doesn't show full text on screen
I wondered how you DM connections on the Soho house app if you have an android? Also do you know when the app will have the same connection features as the iPhone, I heard you were working on this? I can't even see the replies to my post on the noticeboard :( Marc
I wouldn't recommend it because despite attempting on my Samsung Galaxy and on my HP Elitebook Laptop, I have been unable to access booking a visit to Babington. Please advise asap as I need to arrange a visit urgently. Regards Ba Member
I don't understand why this app is always broken. I've had to use the website instead. The event pages never load. Why do you continue to neglect android users??
Unable to log in, "sorry, something went wrong. Please try again". Doesn't seem to work on Android at all.
This app is terrible. I cannot make pool deck bookings at all - when I click on a date or time slot to book I am taken to a blank screen and cannot make the booking. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with no change. Since the houses won't let you book online or over the phone I cannot make any pool deck reservations at all until this terrible app is fixed.
