The app is buggy but I think housejoy's terrible customer service and the terribly managed backend make it worse. The app doesn't let you book many services without including the baseline and so there's confusion. Calling them and trying to resolve it is even worse because they'll make you run around. I think if you can, I'd recommend you go to The Urban Company because at the very least, you can call them and rectify mistakes in the booking and the support is responsive. Disappointing.
Worst service ever. Schedules and time slots mean nothing to them. Housejoy-Trusted Home Services? Not at all. Made the mistake of trusting them not once but twice because I thought I should give them the benefit of the doubt. But I was let down both times, with them cancelling services 10 minutes before the scheduled time and pushing around time slots like it means nothing - without intimation. I am uninstalling this app right now, will never come back to it. I advise the readers the same.
It's been more than a month now , can't book any service from the app. 'something went wrong' is what I have been seeing for more than a month! Got a call from customer care a month back saying the app has some issue and asked me if I would like to book services on call. This is just making me feel there is something wrong with the management as I have heard the beauticians are not happy with their pay and many haven't been paid since many months.
Really bad service. They made reschedule once because they had many bookings. And then the guy had so much of an issue to come to my place. After about 30 minutes, he couldn't locate my place and I had to cancel. No email or sms conftimation about my refund. Called up the customer care and it didn't go well as well :( annoyed and frustrated 😤
Worst app. Click on any service....it's gives error "something went wrong". I can now understand why urbanclap is preferred. Need to have a good UI for a user to stick to ur services. Ur loosing customers in the first phase itself. Chaos!
They are charging too high, just for 1 hr, charged 620. I have selected 1 set of hinges replacement and app charged 255. I thought that's the final amount. Apart from that just did some adjustment for one door. I sincerely not recommended this app.
I had a worst experience with HouseJoy. It is he best app to fool people. I had requested for a service some time back with the first time user discount and it was cancelled by the HJ people. Now again when I am trying to book a service, ideally it's my first booking so I should get that discount. When communicated this issue with customer care they are happily saying once an order is booked whether fulfilled or not the coupon is gone ! This is such a great idea to not provide discounts. On top of that the customer care is highly rude and really not bothered about the issue. Worst experience ever ! Never going to use this app again !
I think this is a good service when you are hard pressed for time and also if you find it hard to get a service technician. But the prices to me seem to be a bit too high for simple things. Also the service notifications can be improved please. Right now these do not reflect reality.
Booked Housejoy’s floor cleaning and scrubbing services and am really amazed with the work that was done. Didn't know that it would turn out to be this good since I was unsure of booking the service online. the application is user friendly and is pretty easy to navigate. Keep up the good work guys. Looking forward to booking more of your services in future.
The beauty service used to be good. Now after appoinment, there is no update that the beautician will not show up. The app still shows beautician assigned and no one turns up at door. and customer service is pathetic. No one picks call, even after trying enormous amount of time if they pick up the call, they will simply put you on hold and then disconnect the call. There are lots of other better beauty services now, so please upgrade your service if you want to be in the game.
after confirmations, our order got cancelled twice. once as they couldnt serve and once as the excuse is that we didnt pick call. after immideate call back, your team didnt pick our call. so the cart of order i place is actually not confirmed. mention in your app or provide number of the engineer who is to serve like travel or food delivery apps do. if someone is unable to pick , call again in 5 mins. App is useless otherwise.
Pathetic service. Unprofessional and arrogant experts. Super costly. Pathetic support who can't help u in anyways if there's any problem with the expert they have sent or eg if he does not come then there's nothing support does about it. Another eg if the expert asks u to pay times more then the market price for any replacement spares. First and last experience with them. There are many other better app based Profesional services available. Plz don't go for this one. Uninstalled forvevr.
I have used the app and the services in the past with little or no issue. Off late though I'm unable to use the app on my phone as the OTP isn't coming as a message, hence unable to book a service. Tried installing the app on my Mom's phone and the issue persists. Similar issues when I try to use it on google chrome too. Update: I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall as well as new login. Other OTPs are coming without trouble, why should only housejoy OTPs be due to my service provider?
I always book an appointment with them for my beauty services and it gets cancelled automatically with out any information and I end up going to a salon..it happened twice in the last two months...whats the point of having an app if it can't serve the purpose of meeting services done at home...Very poor service 👎👎👎
Everytime I schedule a service and wait for it, the executive calls and cancels just a few hours before the scheduled time. Instead, I would now opt for locals. Even their chat box is for namesake. No one responds.
Poor customer service. No response on chat in the app. Have been trying to reach Housejoy post service completion to raise an issue. But the app doesn't provide a straight forward way to reach out. Then I had to call the customer service which most of the time doesn't connect.
Once again disappointed by the customer service of this app. I had booked carpentry service, applied a coupon, coupon got applied, but never received the cashback (which they promised to give while booking the service) And when you call the customer service, they say, there is a flaw in the system, because of which the coupon got 'APPLIED'. Never trust them! I should have understood their poor strategy, when something similar happened to me when I had booked House Deep cleaning services as well!
The worst kind of service. Despite my order being confirmed for the service I chose. The concerned person did not turn up neither did answer my calls. Rescheduling the same order for next day also did not help. On calling the help line. My cancellation is still being processed and my money has not been repayed . The help line is always busy and nobody answers . V bad experience.
The service aspects need to be looked into. It's annoying when you have done the due to share all details on app/site on what job is needed. The repetitive calling from service exec and housejoy to know the address, what needs to be done is so redundant and inefficient.
This is an excellent consumer friendly app. The variety of services it provides and the network of professionals it has is extremely useful. Found the usability and ease of navigation to be simple and minimal. One feedback is that you guys can make it more funky and attractive to use!
Absolutely worst service by the technician, we fixed our refrigerator and the technician took 2300₹ and the next day the device is stopped cooling when he came he could have checked this but he didn't and the next day i tried raising this issue through the app but no response at all. I even talked with the technician he told he would come and check it but no response from him as well. Never use this app.
App is not accepting my coupon.. I finally collected points..got my coupon.. In t&c it's simply written applicable on all services..there's no min cost mentioned But after doing everything.. getting the coupon,selecting the service, when I go to apply the coupon it just says that the coupon can't be applied..highly disappointed !
One of the worst app and serrvice in this field. No one replies back on messaging. Raised a case for a complaint..i dont knw where it went. Booked service with payment and cancelled it. I don't knw where is my money. Urban clap is a much better option.
Not at all recommended to anyone. I availed this service twice for ceiling fan installation. The engineer has rescheduled the time slot 2hrs more than my booked slot even without my knowledge. It happened both the times. They just show the availability of engineer's but actually they won't have them. The worst part here is unable to reach customer service.. They won't take calls frequently. Trust me you'll have worst experience with Housejoy.. Try to avail UrbanClap services.
1. App doesn't work properly. App doesn't work properly. Couldn't open/search any of the services 2. Many options like inverter uninstallation isn't available 3. Opted for AC service and gas filling once, and they forced us to pay in cash and didn't update in the application. They made the booking as offline. From next day the isn't giving the cool or working properly. Worst service and professionalism 4. No proper support from the customer service 5. While booking for AC, booking won't schedule
