this app was really good when I had it about...2 years ago. I decided to get it back again, just to catch up with my friends and stuff, but the sign up process has a bug in it. when I put a VALID email in, it says that it's incorrect. and I know I'm not the only one experiencing this because other reviews state the same problem😭 please fix this so I can maybe use the app lmao.

It's fun! Great idea. 4 stars cuz the explanations page is too vague. For ex, what is the benefit of racking up "We Time." I think it's a good motivator to keep in touch with people more, but every two days?? That's like Mom level. If I were to chat with a long distance friend even once a week, that would be a huge improvement! Also, there should be more notification options like only getting notified when certain friends are in the house, different notification sounds, volumes, etc.

This is a really good app in my opinion as you can let upto 8 people video call at once and play games at the same time. Its also a great way to make new friends as that new person is not a stranger, but a friend of a friend! It aslo very entertaining and a great way to spend time. The security system is also quite good but the only down side I can see is the notifications. I get alot of them and It can be quite annoying sometimes. Otherwise, it's a great app I recommend!!!

Poor sound and video quality, limited choice of games. User interface is less intuitive than expected. There are better group call apps. Also tried the Chrome version on my computer, it is even worse than this Android app. Login doesn't integrate properly with password managers. If it was better optimised with improved sound and video quality, then I would use it. Also doesn't work with Firefox. Feels like an app made by a startup that still needs to improve their product. Good concept.

It's quite good, though as expected, Apple and Android do not get the same treatment. Something to get used to, as FB now owns this formerly independant application. An Apple user, for example, may increase the size of any one of the live images. Though only digitally enlarged, it's a great feature; sadly unavailable to millions of Android users. The interface is clean, though bandwidth issues are more common than not. They need to work on this area desperately, in my opinion. On the whole, 7/10

This app is amazing. I've been using it for at least a year now, and I've had no issues. the only problem would be the lag when you don't have great wifi. However, it's great for people who don't have iphones and can't facetime. you can turn you camera and mic off and it comes with super fun games like uno, karaoke, heads up, a magic 8 ball, and so much more!! Overall, I love this app and plan on keeping it forever.

Great app, but still some problems, love the concept, great when you have a lot of people on here, and I actually like that people can just walk into your room and start chatting, just like a real house party. If you don't like that, lock the room or change your settings to always lock your room. Unfortunately can get a bit overburdened, probably because everyone is quarantined. Also, the UX isn't so intuitive, could be improved. And the games could do with an adjusable timer, it's too short.

The app is fun overall and it is a really great idea to embed games with a live video chat! However, there is definitely room for some improvements. It is a bit confusing inviting friends to a call if you are not familiar with the app. Maybe there should be some text under the emoji button that says something like "invite" or "friends". Also, on my Galaxy Tab A 10.1" tablet, the Quick Draw game was locked in portrait mode which was an annoying user experience as I prefer landscape mode.

I like this app for what it is, you are able to facetime with your friends and/or family. I also like how it takes face timing to a new level with being able to play fun games. I like how flexible it is, you can download it and start using it. However, I have had some problems with it once before, like it would stop working and it would be lagging behind of everyone else. Though, that happened once.

I really like it, but it uses a lot of data. My wifi is I'd say a moderate strength and it can't support what the AP needs to be connected so I have to use data. It can still be glitchy and my phone overheats. Some of the features are confusing, it's not entirely intuitive. I like the games but they move a little too fast (not enough time to read the trivia) overall I like the concept but the execution is a bit off.

This really is a very fun games, but there are still quite a few issues, my biggest one being images or text glitching so that they always stay on the screen. When playing a game like chips and guac, the cards may glitch and stay on the screen. This causes you to not be able to red the cards, or decide which one to choose, which makes it almost unplayable, since it happens almost every time. Please find a way to fix this.

Everyone likes this well enough but I found it boring within 10 minutes of playing. I played with 2 others and despite there being favoured games like heads up and draw, it was laggy and it did not make sense to choose one person to go at a time. The game should either ask who goes in what order or just automatically continue to the next player. Doesnt make it very fun. The drawing game was especially laggy. We just weren't getting into it. I also could not figure out how to end a game.

I like it to connect with friends. I find when I receive calls, I have to exit and come back because the volume of others in very low. There was a tv screen up by the games for ONE day I don't know if it was hacked or something, but it was extremely odd it was just running puppies and the next day it disappeared. Over all it's a great app I have been using it for two years now with no major issues.

The concept is great, you come into the house, and you or your friends can join each other rooms and lock them so that no one you dont want can get in, but the problem is the implementation. It is very buggy and slow and low quality compared to other video chat services. All of the menus and settings hardly work. And worst of all, it absolutely devours battery and every single time I go on it for over 30 minutes, my phone overheats to the point where it can't charge and it eventually dies.

At first the app was awesome, but after a few months it was glitching. Every time I tried to talk to one of my friends it would say they couldn't join. Also mine and their screens would glitch. The camera would freeze to much and they audio sometimes made their voices sound like robots or something. This app is still very good and I totally reccomend it to others!!!👏

Does not respect the phones audio settings. My phone is on silent, and this is the only app that is still being loud with the notifications. Also, the app has not been updated in quote a few months (as of March 2020). Overall decent app. But it doesn't seem to be supported well. Good idea, could've been better implemented. Been following this app since the beginning. I hope it works out.

Certain parts of this are great, the concept and ease at which it allows you to just hop on and hang out with friends, the games as well. But it's very under developed. Quizzes get quite repetitive, the settings menu isn't anywhere near fleshed out enough for a calling app and the UI isn't great. I urge the developer to do all they can to capitalise on its new found popularity because this app could be a staple going forward if it's worked on. Also I've had absolutely no privacy concerns

Lots of dropped video feeds and people just dropping out of the room. Not a lot of trivia questions, you can't play the same mode twice without repeats. Everyone just got off and we used Google Hangouts to talk like normal. Uninstalled because it kept pushing notifications every 2 hours of who was online, super annoying. Almost there, but not quite. I will try again in the future, I think they just need time to address these issues. Good app idea though.

So overall this is a great app. You can basically FaceTime all your friends. You can invite other people to your party and play heads up and more! You can create group chats which is awesome. The only thing I don't really like is when I'm trying to change my profile pic I go to gallery,pick a picture, and when I come back it says I'm not connected to the internet. But overall amazing app.

I'm really finding this app helpful during this covid-19 outbreak, it helps me keep in touch with my friends and us super easy to use. It has a very good optional private mode, so you can go on this app with no worries. There are no ad-breaks and barely any in-app purchases. I'm really enjoying the new updated version, where celebrities are giving live demos.My only problem is that I can't send photos, but you still have facemail. Definitely get this app, and keep it too. Really liked it.

I love using this app to hang and talk with my friends. The UNO game is great! I do have some suggestions. Base line, need to improve the connection stability. I understand that strong wifi is needed but improvents need to be made. The UNO game is great! But when you or a friend gets kicked off it allows you to come back only to spectate, which slightly throws off the flow of the game. And after a player is being challeged and has gone, it sometimes freezes on that player who was challenged.

I love the app, just that it needed to be upgraded so that we can view friends profile pictures and change profile name. So many things needs to be updated. I wish I could change my profile name but I couldn't. And it's so annoying if one can't view friends profile picture fully. And it consume data alot. Unlike other apps, we couldn't share photos with friends.

It's a great app and I would give it 5 stars but whenever I try to send a face mail to my friends the app closes down and something pops up saying "housepartying has stopped". I have been constantly trying to send them but cannot. Other than this it is a great app and a good way to stay in contact with your friends and family on the Christmas holidays etc. It would be a definate five star if this issue was fixed as this is a really great app and I love using it to text/call my friends.

App is okay. Bought a few packs for the different games but the variety was fairly small/repetitive. The biggest issue I have with this app, is that for some reason you decide to use the media volume instead of the ringer volume for notifications. When my phone is on silent, it blasts the whistle sound instead of vibrating/silence, and when I'm listening with headphones it's even worse. Please fix this soon. The ringer volume is used universally for notification volume for a reason.

Nice idea, but instead of putting so much money into the load of advertising, how about putting more money into the servers and fixing bugs? Had my family use this and most kept getting kicked out, or sometimes there would be a huge desync, and some people couldn't even connect correctly. Not really great at all. Also, the Trivia game cut off half the question on some phones. One of the phones that this happened to has a big screen, so it's a bit odd.

Fine for quick video chats, but I can't turn off the volume! I can mute my mic, great. But even when I turn the volume all the way down on my phone, set to silent mode, I still get the voices of everyone in the call. This is fine if you are alone, but if me and my wife both want to get in on the house party on different phones, it causes horrible horrible feedback loops.

Honestly, this app is quite impressive, there is one thing worth complaining: my Microphone. My dear friend and I like working together on stuff and this pandemic made it so we could only contact eachother on messaging platforms. I checked on my settings and allowed my microphone but they still can't hear me. I've even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Other then that, it's a great app and I highly recommend it.
